Food was very middle of the road. Server came over to collect payment, as I was paying, she took my unfinished plate away and only realized when I looked up. This was our second time eating here. First time was when they first opened. I wasn't impressed then either. But wanted to order delivery. First when you look them up on Google, it ask if you would like delivery. I went through the whole process of placing an order, entering my card, for it to say Transaction did not go through. So I call and she says they do NOT do deliveries. Which is fine I saved $15 So we got the orang chicken, pad sew, and 2 apps the pot stickers and stuff Krab (how they spell it) cream cheese. $60!!!!!!! That's insane. Absolutely not worth it. We eat lots of Thai food. The other place here in town in amazing. This food has no flavor, the orange chicken the sauce was so runny and overly sweet. Pot stickers were ok. Server was nice but overly attentive, like taking our plates before we finished eating.. 3/5 Now the food. Som Tum : papaya salad had too much sauce & obnoxiously spicy 1/5 The Pad Thai : was 2/5, mild spice, bland chicken. I have been going here for some time. I've only done takeout, the dining area is small and not air conditioned in the summer. However the food is fresh and always good. My favorite being the yellow curry. I've done travel in Thailand and their food is a little Americanized but still very good. Give them some patronage and let's keep them in business read more

I was lured in from the photos they had on their front door. They had the most amazing chocken terikai, broccoli, carrot amd zuchinni meal. The chicken was so tender. The staff was very attentive and kind, I enjoyed both of our waitataff. I got iced tea. I loved my little drinking jar. I recommend eating here, it was easy to social distance and the restaurant was super clean. I'll be back for sure, they have dunplings and veggie rolls I'd like to try next time. read more

While the food was good I will not be returning. After the meal as I was leaving I was told that service dogs are not permitted. My dog is certified! I always request an outside table in the corner, being respectful to other diners . The owner needs to follow the ADA Service Animal Rules See below. Under the ADA, restaurant owners must legally allow service animals into their establishments. This means that you cannot refuse entry to a person with a service dog based on your own personal beliefs or your concerns for health and food safety rules. Additionally, denying access or charging extra fees for customers with service animals can result in legal penalties. You cannot segregate the person and their service dog to a specific place in the restaurant. They should be treated like a regular customer when entering your establishment. I read more

We always try new restaurants in our area. We've been to Thailand so we know what to expect. I ordered the Pad Thai and my wife had the large bowl of Tom Yum along with Zab Chicken wings. We were disappointed. The Tim Yum soup was just the broth, shrimp and mushrooms. Not what my wife expected. I had the Pad Thai and was given lots of bean sprouts, shredded cabbage and the noodles where stuck together. Could not mix the vegetables with the noodles. Then to top it off, we asked for Sticky Rice with Mango and was told that the mango was out of season. We'll, guess what, the day before, my wife bought 3 mangoes. We called another Thai restaurant and ordered our Sticky Rice with Mango to go. To bad, we wanted to love this restaurant. read more

Not a lot of splash from the outside, but this is a delightful little spot in Fountain Hills. We weren't sure if they offered outdoor dining, but they do -- in the form of an enclosed (roofed) patio area that's separate from their indoor dining tables. We had a side salad with peanut dressing. The dressing comes in a separate little bowl and is served warm! For an appetizer, we had what they called the tofu tower. Triangles of fried tofu were great. The dish came out with really hot freshly fried tofu triangles that were light and crispy. It came with a bed of small cucumber cubes and sweet red chili sauce. Served in a long dish, we were not expecting the presentation to be flat because it was called a tower--we expected at least a stack of tofu. But it tasted great, even though it could have used a little more red sweet chili sauce. For our entree, we shared an order of green curry, subbing the meat with tofu. This was the real hit of the meal. The curry comes with either white or brown rice. We chose white rice. The curry sauce was really well-flavored. Upon first taste, you notice that it's sweeter than you might expect of green curry. But it has a beautiful heat that grows into a wonderful spiciness that goes so well with the sweetness. We definitely weren't expecting this level of sophisticated flavor. Definitely recommended. read more

Here we are, back again for another sampling of excellent Thai cooking. This time I had the garlic shrimp and my wife had the yellow curry. The shrimp was gently cooked in a brown sauce, seasoned perfectly with garlic and other spices. The yellow curry was great, with chicken, potatoes, onions carrots and of course the delicious yellow curry. The spice is not overpowering; just enough to make your nose run a bit. Of course, we topped it off with a light and refreshing lemon raspberry cream cake! Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service!!!! DO NOT support them! The owner would not confess the mistake she made and would not refund or replace the order that was an error. The menu is misleading and had food on it, but they did not have the item. We were charged for an item and did not receive it in our order. She was very rude and chose to argue with us rather than replacing the item. We will not be coming back and we hope you make the right decision to eat elsewhere!!! My wife loves the thom ka soup. She has ordered take out almost every day since we discovered the place.

Tum Ka soup was outstanding. Complex and tasty. I got mild and it was fine. Drunken noodle(chicken) was also very good. I got mild Andes's fine except for a few bites in middle of dish which was hot. Spring rolls were yummy. We got carry out, so I can not say much about dining in. read more

If you want quick Asian 'fusion' it's fine. They use raw vegetables as filler in the Pad Thai instead of choosing a smaller container. I'll order occasionally but there are better places. read more

With only 6-8 tables, we were instead seated for lunch on the "porch" where every table was taken by 12:30; a tribute to the excellent food. We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon to get take out. Phad Thai all around: portions were ample and beautifully set in rectangular paper boxes. Perfect for eating and saving for later and readily disposable when necessary, the PhadThai was medium heat, enough for a quick bite of heat for flavor but not incendiary lingering heat. Lots of chopped peanut and bean sprouts snd julienned cabbage for accompaniment. Absolutely delicious! Suave was not sweet but delightfully spiced. I also had a small serving of tum Khabagadhi soup which was filled with slices of chicken mushrooms tomatoes and lemon grass in a spicy coconut broth: hot and sweet and sour snd spicy all in one. Perfect!!! If you have a cold, this soup will cure it. Service was prompt and smiling. Absolutely worth the stop and will be back again maybe for dine in service! read more

We stopped for a takeout on Sunday evening though it was open for dine-in. Menu was not huge but contained such Thai restaurant staples like various curries, Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, etc. We asked what was the most popular dish, it turned out to be Orange Chicken which we proceeded to order along with Pad Thai and Yellow and Green curries. A nice girl at the counter warned us curries were "Thai Medium" in spiciness. They sure were! It is equal "American Hot", so the warning was quite appropriate. The food was piping hot ready in 20 min. We drove home home for good 30 minutes and it was still very hot. The food was very tasty and the Orange Chicken truly the winner, though perhaps not quite an authentic Thai dish. The rest of them had authentic taste but I would wish for more veggies, bean sprouts and Thai herbs. This is why I am giving them 4 stars. read more

Located on what I call the Fountain Hills retail street, Zab is a traditional Thai restaurant with curries, pad thai, etc. entrees. Service was fast on a Saturday night. I got the yellow curry which was okay but not outstanding. I thought it had too much of something, maybe turmeric, that overwhelmed the dish. I also felt it was lacking a meaningful amount of chicken and vegetables so essentially I had a lot of liquid for the dish. I also thought the rice was too mushy. My companion got the pad thai and kind of felt the same way as the dish was a little off. The ambiance is good but it couldn't make up for the mediocre entrees. read more

I was SO happy when I saw these kind folks working to open this place. You see their hard work from the moment you step in, the outer room is adorable - there were people dining in the interior portion, so I didn't walk in but liked what I could see form the outer room. We ordered to go - we ordered Panang Curry, Orange Chicken, Shrimp Rolls, and ZAB Wings. I didn't partake in the Curry or the Wings but he was quite happy with both, especially the Panang Curry (he LOVES spice). We both enjoyed the Shrimp Rolls and I LOVED the Orange Chicken (I do believe it's officially my favorite OC ever). I went back for lunch today (the FB page says they aren't open on Mondays, but they were open today). Today I had Shrimp Rolls and Veggie Rolls (do not mock me, for some reason I felt like that was less food than ordering an actual meal). I knew I'd like the Shrimp Rolls and I enjoyed the Veggie Rolls. Just like anywhere in FH, parking is plentiful with both on-street parking and parking lot behind the building.
