This is our go to spot for take out Thai food near the racket club in Scottsdale. We had just gotten back from a nice round of golf. All of us were pretty hungry. Everything is reasonably priced and yummy. We had the goyzas - 6 - and they were tasty- just the right amount of crisp with a good hoisen sauce. I had the Drunken Noodles (medium spice) and added some extra vegetables. It was a huge serving so I have leftovers. My husband had the chicken pad Thai and while it wasn't the best he's had, he said it was very good. I have often stopped by for some drunken noodles and or curry, they made my order wrong, they made it with chicken instead of beef, I went back in and just asked them to put some beef on top and we are good, the servers instead made a new dish for me and had me keep both. I have to start out by saying that Juan is probably one of the most friendly people I've met. Thai Chili 2go is a newer space in the area so I decided to check it out. Upon walking in, I was warmly greeted and struck up a conversation with Juan. He patiently walked me through the menu, telling me their specials, what people like, asking me my preferences... I was torn between the Green and the Yellow Curry and he immediately said "Don't worry, I got you." He went behind the counter and got two spoons, one of each curry for me to taste. A. I was blown away by his kindness and B. both of them were delicious. I ended up going with the Green Curry and the Pad Thai - both were great choices. We walked in and placed the order with them (that day the kiosk was not working). The food came out fast and we were the only ones who ate in. The rice noodle is so delicious. On Saturday night, I ordered the vegan spicy basil noodles and paid extra to have broccoli added to my meal. When I arrived home with my food, I noticed that there was no broccoli to be found. I called the restaurant to let them know what happened. Yasmine, the person I spoke with on the phone, was pleasant and said they would make it right and took down my name and number. She also advised me to ask for Juan, the manager, when I stopped back in. I visited the restaurant again this evening and explained the situation to Juan. He was very kind, helpful, and cheerful, and immediately put through another order to make up for the error on Saturday night. This order turned out perfectly! It is quite apparent that Juan takes great pride in his job and sincerely wants his customers to be happy when they visit his restaurant. This top-notch service and hospitality is rare these days.
