We were back at Pinho's again since we were nearby. The store was tidy and clean, prepped for Easter. We got a dozen of the natas this time. We also got crème brûlée, sprinkle cupcake and couple of other items. Our order was packed within minutes, it was a quick efficient service. I also bought a coke zero can that was only $1.50, pleasantly cheaper than what I thought it would be. Loved the natas. Ate them over next few days. Hot pr cold, they taste so good. Crème brûlée was sweet and decent as well.

Stumbled upon on this bakery in the neighborhood! What a surprise!!! Looks like a family owned bakery. It's a little chaos in there when ordering even if there's a line. But the staff members are very nice. I came only for Pastel de nata, which is great. Creamy inside and crispy at the bottom. They also have bread, cookies, cakes etc. hot coffee only. Big indoor seating area. It was snowing that day. Extra romantic having my afternoon tea and looking snow outside. They also have some board games. Great bakery in this neighborhood. Must try if you are a big Pastel de nata fan.

Great local bakery with everything you would want. The star item are their famous egg tarts or custard. Just about every egg tart place in NYC is overcharging on a traditional simple dessert. Pinho retains the affordable price and the same quality and taste. Cakes are also great, soft and fluffy and not overly sweeten and dense like supermarket bakeries. Tons of options and everything is reasonably priced.

I was a little confused when ordering here and the person taking my order behind the cash register couldn't hear me. Im not sure what the "Italian Sandwich" included, since I didn't see it listed. But it's what I ended up getting and it was delicious! Great lunch or brunch spot!

I came here to get a box of pastries to thank work place associates for helping me out. I settled with a box of dozen donuts. I splurged and got other items and lunch for my myself. The lady that helped on the bakery side was very nice and patient. after getting my baked goods I went to the deli side and ordered a sloppy Joe for lunch. This place is popping for good reason. mini lobster tail I had was still crunchy. the filling was not sweet. the egg tart is good as well. kinda small but very tasty. there a small seating area with TV. id have to check if there's wifi so I could WFH there.

My 3 y/o son has a severe dairy allergy (he bleeds in his lungs if consumed in large quantities). Cross contamination and shared equipment is fine, it just can't be an ingredient in the food. Are there any options for him?

In this case, it would be best to call the bakery direct and ask them.

Had the chance to meet "The Boss" Gilda and her son Joe as well as the rest of the very friendly and helpful staff here. We tried a plethora of things so this may take a minute haha. Started off with two stuffed breads - A Reuben as well as a Pepperoni roll. The Reuben had a great flavor and the bread itself was tasty. It was slightly odd in my mind to eat a Reuben without grilled rye, but I enjoyed this. The pepperoni stuffed bread was also good and was even better with the addition of some sauce (they called it gravy and I thought I was in trouble haha). After that we were hit with some delicious Italian items including their house made meatballs, Italian sausage and peppers, and chicken Parmesan. The meatballs were just rated #1 in Central Jersey and #2 in the entire state of NJ at the Pizza Bowl a few months back. I could see why. Very tender, perfectly seasoned, and again that sauce/gravy was killer. To be honest though, I may have enjoyed the sausage even more! I mentioned how I didn't get hit with that typical overwhelming pop from fennel seed and Joe said they make it with ground fennel so the flavor is still there but it's not so in your face. I loved, and I mean loved, this sausage. The chicken parm was also very good but I had a small piece because I knew what was coming next! We finished off by trying two sandwiches that Iorio is well known for. The first was "The Jocelyn" which was a roast beef and Swiss melt on an onion roll, and the second was "The Sloppiest Joe" which was a North NJ staple "sloppy joe" but in epic proportions. The Jocelyn had good flavor and the onion roll was a nice touch and change of pace. The sloppiest Joe is sitting inside the top 3 I've had probably ever. The meats were freshly sliced and piled high, the rye was super fresh, and the Cole slaw had get flavor and added welcomed creaminess to the sandwich. As if there was any doubt at all - Iorio Deli in Roselle Park, NJ - Didn't Suck!
