This is one of the places that is open later. The items I order now compared to before taste so much better. The pork banh mi and chicken wings with rice are my favorite. The service is always nice and the ladies are friendly. I really like all the pink inside the restaurant.

My favorite place to eat at when visiting Sycuan. Asian food to accommodate all of the off hour guests. Food is tasty, good quality and big quantity. Good to share. Can seat big and small parties. Lots of Buddha bellies to rub for good luck LOL. Overall I love this casino. Best place to go in San Diego if you wanna let loose. Sycuan has live music, slots, and table games. Beautiful ambiance all around. Casino also has ballrooms and hotel rooms.

this was the worst meal I've ever had that dumplings were greasy the sushi smelled the lettuce wraps. I mean the whole experience was absolutely disgusting. I ended up having to throw up my food afterwards did not finish any of these meals. I really didn't speak to anybody for service because it was sort of like you order and you pay and then you sit down and you wait for them to bring out but the restaurant is cute. That's all I'm gonna say yuck.

Pink Buddha fare is decent. Despite the pesto bismol pink I loved the buddhas dancing all over the place and , I did enjoy the orange chicken and Mongolian beef portions Service was great, never had a an issue here

Would never recommend this place to friends or family tbh, my mom paid 70$ for this & 5P wanna be lumpia smh . Take out Chinese gives way more portion mind you I paid 70$ for take out and I had 4 or 5 plates ! She also waited almost 30 mins for this crap so imagine waiting then coming home open it and it's this... idk how they always packed but you figure that's the only food last open in the casino and everyone pro lay tipsy or drunk and just want something in they system idk this was my 2 or 3rd time eating them mind you I complained the first time & I ate in the actual restaurant. Super cute inside but that's it just nice inside and the food is whatever .

The food and service were good. The wings this time were a bit oily but the flavor is delicious! Large dining area to eat in Or you can do take out.

Asian restaurant in Sycuan Hotel and Casino. Char siu bao was actually pretty good. Bao was steamed and fluffy. Char siu was moist. I would've liked to have a little more char siu to even out the meat to bun ratio. The pork dumplings were yummy too. Thick, Hand made wrappers. The dipping sauce could be a little less sweet. Now for the pancit. IMO, that's not pancit. Noodles were too thick to be bihon and too thin to be Canton. Tasted more like fried noodles. Overall, it was ok. The Filipino cashier seemed stressed out. Maybe that's why she was so abrupt with customers? It's ok, we all have days like that. Next time we're there, definitely trying the pho.

11:39 and still I haven't received my Food. I was the second person in line I order 10+ people came after me and everyone is eating or leaving . What horrible service I received today at pink Buddha.

I would be coming back best pad Thai I have had around the area of El Cajon. And rancho this is the place located in sycuan casino

Beef chow fun should be called chow fun beef. "Where's the beef!!!"

12/2025 This place is ok if your looking for convenience at a casino where you may have lost some money. Hopefully, you received enough points to pay for your meal. The food is decent, but not for the price and what you would expect at a casino. The entrees average about $18 with meager portions. Some dishes don't have enough protein such as the "beef" chow fun where it's 80%-90% noodles with some scraps of beef. If you order take-out, they give you a pager that doesn't work if you walk too far. I was near the rear entrance and it never worked. Just check on your order in 20 minutes.

Pink Buddha bento box with spicy garlic chicken and fried rice
Angelina C.

This restaurant is conveniently located in the Sycuan Casino. There are many other options in the casino for food, and I would not recommend this one. My plate was very simple- a pink Buddha bento box with spicy garlic chicken, fried rice, and veggies. The only thing on my plate that tasted good was the veggies. The garlic chicken was sour and soggy, and the fried rice was dry and not seasoned. My plate came with a side order of miso soup, which had lots of tofu and seaweed. Overall, I only enjoyed the miso soup and veggies. When I finished those, I tried the fortune cookie that came with my food. It was so stale! For nearly $30, you can get better food elsewhere. Their service is also unorganized here. When we ordered, we asked for everything to go, and for my mother-in-law's meal to be bagged separately because she was leaving after we got our food. When we picked up the food, they confirmed that her order was in the separate bag. When she got to the parking lot, she saw that she did not have her correct order- she had mine instead.

Imperial chow mein

After an unexpected early closure of the food service at the pool, we found ourselves inside the casino searching for food. Pink Buddha was the first place we came across and decided to give it a go. I love a good chow mein and the imperial chow mein hit the spot. I ordered mine without shrimp and veggies but it usually has shrimp, chicken and beef. The menu has a wide selection of Asian dishes, including Chinese, Vietnamese, Filipino, Thai, Japanese and Korean.

Pad Thai
Gladys P.

Back again and we decided this is the only restaurant at Sycuan that we want to eat at! Tried some new items like the pad thai and the honey walnut shrimp, liked both of them. The only thing we didn't like was the lumpia, sorry but they were about as bland as Jack-in-the-Box eggrolls. Not to fear, you guys made up for it with the ube cheesecake, sooo good!

I didn't catch her name. I'm sorry. Wine selection was fab. Ordered the chicken and wagyu rice. Omg! Soooo delicious! I literally when I ate it was saying "omg". I tasted a bite of the pork tomahawk and that was amazing as well! Everything was amazing. I honestly couldn't believe we waited so long to come back. I really wanted to get their $1.50 oysters that's marketed on their sidewalk sign. Upon being seated, we were greeted with water and a palate cleanser shooter. After ordering a dozen oysters, and crab tacos we were informed that they were sold out. (Bummer) Ended up ordering the silkworm tacos, yellow peppers, birria tacos, and the crispy chicken dish. Everything was plated nicely, but the fusion flavors were a little overwhelming for me. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Ambiance, decor, and cleanliness. The hostess also was kind enough to call me to let me know that our phone was left behind.

However, I do expect a restaurant to provide reasonable and accurate expectations for takeout orders. If the kitchen is experiencing unusually long wait times, cashiers should communicate realistic pickup estimates rather than quote times they cannot meet. On this particular Saturday evening, we placed a takeout order at Ginger Noodle Bar at 7:50 PM. Our cashier, Cheryl, advised us that our order would be ready in approximately 15 minutes. Unfortunately, our food was not available until 8:35 PM--about 30 minutes beyond the promised pickup time. The experience became even more frustrating as we stood at the pickup counter waiting for our order, repeatedly asking whether the dishes coming out of the kitchen belonged to us. When our food finally arrived, it was placed in the designated pickup area without anyone notifying us, despite us and another couple standing there clearly waiting for delayed orders. This lack of communication added unnecessarily to the frustration, especially since we were missing the live band performance on the opposite side of the casino while waiting. To be fair, the food itself was exactly as expected. We ordered the Bo Luc Lac and Kung Pao Chicken, and both dishes were served hot, fresh, flavorful, and properly prepared. The order was complete with plenty of napkins, chopsticks, utensils, and fortune cookies. Unfortunately, good food alone could not make up for the excessive wait time and poor communication surrounding our pickup. We ordered takeout expecting to enjoy our meal while taking in the casino's entertainment, but instead spent nearly 45 minutes waiting for food that was promised in 15. Because of this experience, I find it difficult to give a stronger recommendation, and future guests ordering takeout should be prepared for the possibility that quoted pickup times may not accurately reflect actual wait times.

The kitchen clearly knows how to prepare quality dishes, and the food is the reason I'm giving this restaurant 4 stars instead of less. That said, I deducted one star because of the location and overall environment. I chose Kingfisher because I was looking forward to Vietnamese cuisine, but when I arrived, my first impression was disappointing. Right by the entrance there was a strong urine smell, and because the restaurant has an open-air layout, it affected the dining experience. I also found myself concerned about the surrounding neighborhood and the overall setting. For me, a great restaurant is about more than just the food--it's also about feeling comfortable, relaxed, and enjoying the atmosphere. Even if a restaurant serves amazing food, the experience isn't complete if the location makes guests feel uneasy. I understand that Kingfisher has earned Michelin recognition, and the quality of the food certainly shows why. However, I hope the overall dining environment can improve because the talented kitchen deserves a setting that matches the excellent dishes they serve. I would gladly return if this establishment were located in a cleaner, more welcoming area without the homeless encampments nearby.
