Went out on a Saturday evening, which I expected to be a busy night, and it was. All the seats are reserved at the lobby bar, so don't expect to be able to walk in easily, at least during busy times. I highly suggest making a reservation. I was able to sit at a small cocktail table served by Tayler, who was fantastic. The brie cheese baguette was a little too sweet for me, so I probably won't order that again. Had a couple of shots and an espresso with milk, which was good. The dessert was a toffee cake with vanilla ice cream--standard but tasty. The ambiance is definitely top-notch. Lots of people, plenty of conversations -- a great place to sit, relax, and spend an evening.

This place is such a vibe. The service is great, and the drinks are delicious. It's fun to sit and listen to the live music that's often playing in the lobby. We ran upstairs to get sunset photos on the rooftop, and our server happily held our table for us.

We have been here a handful of times and it's been absolutely lovely. There was one day in particular and it so happened to be my birthday where it was not so great. HOWEVER the general manager reached out to me and apologized and made it right and gave us a dining credit to use. Upon our arrival they gave my fiancé and I a glass of sparkling wine. Throughout our experience there the general manager came to our table to check up on us, and our waitress was very attentive and super nice. He also sent out a dessert as a belated bday surprise for me and I appreciated that so much. And to our surprise he ended up taking care of our whole bill. Thank you Austin the GM and Tayler our waitress for making the evening such a great experience and taking such good care of us.

    Martini to start the evening!

Even waiting outside for our reservation we were having a great time feeling like we were at a 1930's train stop. I heard about this place from my brother, and went a couple of years ago, and could not wait to take my boyfriend here. The service is absolutely PHENOMENAL! They walk you through the menu, the experience, as well as guide you if you're not sure what you want to drink. We ordered several drinks and they were all so creative and fun! My favorite was the tea with the lit lavender "cigarette." It added to the ambiance and overall experience. We also ordered the trip of snacks tray and several other drinks. Although this place is pretty pricey, there is nowhere is like it and it's WELL worth the cost! Get reservations early and don't skip this amazing, creative, and inventive bar!

We were a little early for our Platform 18 reservation, so we decided to stop by Grey Hen for a drink. I've heard that Grey Hen changes their theme almost every year, and when I visited, the theme was Mexican-inspired. The decor was really fun, and they even had the spirit animal from Coco. (May mama Coco rest in peace) The cocktails were solid overall, and I was happy to see a couple of mezcal options on the menu. That said, the drinks are definitely on the pricier side. After tax and tip, each cocktail came out to around $20-$30. Still, it's a fun spot to check out, especially if you're already visiting Century Grand and want to experience one of their rotating themes.

Upon walking in, the place was packed and we stood in line at the bar for standing room only. The bartenders were friendly and the cocktail list was pretty interesting. Both of the drinks we got off the menu were bitter and NOT sweet, which is bad news for me cause I love a sweet drink! lol The bartender was able to make me a lychee mojito after I asked specifically for any flavored syrups they had. She was very sweet to check what flavors they have and gave me several different options. My boyfriend got some whiskey and they gave a hefty pour. We ended up snagging some seats at the bar and ordered two slices of pepperoni pizza. Love that you can buy slices individually here, including cheese pep and dill pickle - how fun, will definitely try this next time! Overall, nice chill dive bar with good food and drinks. Ambiance is very moody but fun. They also have old school darts! We'll be back :)

Food: We loved the steak tartar--highly recommend! We also loved the short rib skewers--no business being that good. We did order the gyoza...they were good but did not compare with the other starters. I ordered the miso salmon. It was perfectly cooked. Slightly salty but good. My husband ordered the porterhouse steak and everyone at the table got a piece and were in love. That steak was heavenly. My sister in law and friend both ordered the filet mignon and both really enjoyed their steaks. For sides we ordered the potatoes and Brussels and I highly recommend you order those for your sides if you go. The potatoes are ridiculously good. We ended on some desert, although I was too full, my husband got the chocolate cheesecake and my SIL got the sticky cake. Her sticky cake was recommended by our waiter and it was the better dessert choice. Cocktails were good. The ambiance was amazing. Service was excellent. We will definitely be back!

What we didn't realize at the time was that we had stumbled upon one of those dishes that would stick with us! So when Liquor Pig closed, we were genuinely sad to see it go, but then delighted to learn that the same chef was spearheading Wayward and, most importantly, that the legendary bone marrow poutine made its way onto the new menu. And thankfully, it's still just as memorable! The bone marrow is incredibly luscious, rich, and decadent, and the whole dish is the perfect indulgent pairing for Wayward's creative cocktails. The portion is also a great size for two people to share, especially since it's definitely a rich dish. We also tried the Jaew Chicken which was tasty and definitely a little different from what I'd normally order. It was a nice addition to the meal, but honestly, the poutine is the reason we'll keep coming back to this place! While walking through the restaurant, I noticed quite a few tables enjoying the bone in short rib taco board and those portions are serious. That platter could easily feed four people, so it's definitely something to keep in mind if you're dining with a group. All in all, I'm happy that Wayward has kept one of my favorite dishes from the Liquor Pig days alive. If you're looking for creative cocktails with something rich and indulgent to snack on, do yourself a favor and order the bone marrow poutine!
