The property is beautiful--clean, well-maintained, and visually appealing. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our week-long stay. While the location isn't particularly walkable, access to fast food, grocery stores, and restaurants was easy via Uber, so getting around wasn't a problem. That said, there were a couple of downsides. I requested toilet paper from housekeeping and had to wait over two hours before eventually going to the front desk to get it myself. Additionally, the water pressure in the shower was very weak, which made rinsing off quite frustrating. Despite those inconveniences, the stay was pleasant overall, and I would consider staying here again due to its location and the welcoming atmosphere.

It looks like it has a EV Recharging station, I would call the hotel to doublecheck to make sure, it is still good on that. Good, kitchen area it has with the needed overall amenities, small type pool, buttt, really no need to have a big type of swimming pool in these type hotels. Good amount of parking spaces.

The community in the middle (where I was) is a group of people who have lived there for a long time. If I had to guess, many of them still live there. Great people. Parking was never an issue for me on the bigger lot. That small lot (off Brown, I think) can get full but the complex is so concentrated that no one really walks far. The layout hasn't changed much I would bet, and my 2 bedroom was perfect because it was a bit bigger and had some extra room. The Main room was just slightly bigger, but I recall easily fitting my Queen bed, 2 nightstands, decor and a TV on the wall. The patios are small, but can fit 2 chairs. I really enjoyed that patio and a nice beer on a warm summer evening. The location was probably my favorite. Right behind Brookshire's in Wylie, and at an intersection, I felt like it was convenient to anywhere I wanted to go. At the time I attended Collin College and worked at Sachse High, and both drives were really a breeze. Traffic has probably increased since, but you can't beat the quick access to Sachse, Garland, Murphy and Plano. The best thing is that it's practically in a neighborhood, so it was exceptionally quiet. I can't recall how much I paid (wouldn't matter now) but it was very affordable. Sadly, I had to break my lease (and paid a fee to do so) and they were very understanding and worked with me without doing shady things. A different time. It's funny, for where I was in my life at that time it was perfect for me. So mamy significant days of my life happened here, and I didn't even know it. If you are reading this, and interested in making a change in your life - good luck. You got this. And this might just be the place to do it if you are seeking quiet, affordability (hopefully) and to be able to access various cities quickly.

Maintenance has always been top notch if we had a problem. The main issues I take are that the price is too steep for what you get which isn't much. And on top of that, there is only one way to pay your rent, and you're charged a convenience fee for it. More like an inconvenience fee. And the laundry room. Oh I could go on forever about the laundry room. First of it's all coin operated, if you're gonna have coin operated machines, provide a change machine. Second, half of the washing machines are always broken and when they aren't broken they never fully drain so you have to hand wring out the clothes before putting them in the dryer. So still technically broken, just operating. The dryers even on the highest temperature can't even dry a small load. With the money people spend washing their clothes, this place could easily afford new washers and dryers. They just won't. I'd rather give up a few feet of my walk in closet for a space for my own washer and dryer. That's the other thing. For the outrageous rent this complex charges, they could easily put a washer and dryer in every unit. It would certainly justify the price. I'm gonna be straight, we renewed our lease once. I don't know if we will again. The laundry situation is enough to want out of this place.

And I can say, after living here for over a year or so due to work, this place had us spoiled. First it has a pool, a gym with so much equipment, on site propane, mailroom, full bathrooms with walk-in showers, a theater room, a bar, plenty of washer and dryers with laundry detergent, a fully stocked kitchen and a community area to host parties. I'm sure I'm leaving out a few other things but they have so much to offer. Each lot has so much space in between the next. Enough space to place a grill, full patio set, fire pit, and raised beds. It is also fairly quiet in the front even though you are close to the highway. Every once and a while you will hear a motorcycle or vehicle but it dies down quickly afterwards. It's about 5 miles or so from I-20 and may 2-3 miles from town. The police department and sheriff's office are less that 2 miles away. But with being so close to everything it is still surrounded by two huge cow fields.

There are different rules for different people. The rules are not in-forced. If you complain about…read moresomething you are told it will be handled but it never was. A dog pooped and peed on the balcony for two years with multiple complaints being filed. Nothing was ever done. The main clubhouse and office areas are cleaned on a regular basis but the rest of the buildings are not vacuumed or dusted or swept. Management wants to control what people talk about and one should never ever talk to corporate. Private Bible study sessions are taped and monitored and people are called on the carpet for things said during that private time. The amenities keep disappearing. For instance we were supposed to have complete use of the kitchen and then we were no longer allowed to use the refrigerator. We were supposed to have a coffee bar 24-7 and all of a sudden we were given a small pot of coffee that only staff was allowed to make so it was only available during office hours. Our mail was being stolen so we were told they would put cameras out in the mail area. Never happened. To date four cars have been stolen from the gated community parking lot. But no security measures have been put in place. By the way the gates very seldom work properly so you pay for a gated community that is not really secure at all. I could go on but you get the picture it is not a great place to live and people are buying out their leases to move out.
