I just cancelled this service after being a customer for about 2 years. They started out great, sending 2-3 maids for my monthly cleaning of an almost 4,000 square foot house. Over the last year, they would only send 1 person. I started noticing things not being done such as dusting, emptying trashcans, cleaning the microwave, etc. They left what appeared to be deep scratches on my bathroom sinks, which after numerous attempts to get someone over here to look at, they were thankfully able to buff out. At that appointment, I let the manager know of my unhappiness with their service over the last few months. I showed her the dust and surfaces not touched around my house. She agreed that my house was large, and said that they would put a note in my file. Cut to today. The trashcans again were not emptied in my childrens' rooms, none of my 4 bedrooms upstairs were vacuumed, nothing was dusted, my mirrors were not touched. Fed up, I called to make a complaint. Unfortunately, I do not know who I spoke with, but she pretty much told me that my house takes too long to clean. I told her that's because they dropped the cleaning crew from 2-3 people down to 1 for an almost 4,000 square foot home! She told me they don't send multiple people And that my house must have been used to train people. She wanted to set up an appointment to look at the house again and give me an updated quote. This is after 2 years with them! I told her I wasn't interested in a new quote, I was interested in what I signed up for. I cancelled my service. It is apparent that this company does not have an adequate number of employees, or does not train their employees well. Don't waste your time and money on them. read more

I had a First Time cleaning done for an 1100 sq. ft. Condo. I was quoted $125 for a 2-3 hour cleaning. A team of 5 showed up (1 leader and 4 trainees) and stayed an hour and a half. All nice ladies! Unfortunately, the leader left the kitchen and dining room floors for last. After they left I noticed neither floor was clean and had to re-mop them. Also, the vacuum was not working well and left little fuzz balls on the carpet. I was charged $133.40 for the cleaning. Not a satisfied customer! read more

I was sold a deep clean service, paid a fortune, came home to a house that was surfaced cleaned with dirty bathrooms, to then be told by customer service that the deep clean service does not exist. I will say that customer service was great however..one star for being friendly and professional. On a side note- they did offer to come and clean the spots they missed. However, after reading the Yelp reviews on having a second clean that comes out worst than the first, I will have to cut my loses and move on. read more

They weren't terrible but I won't be using them again. We hired them for a deep clean as we're getting ready to sell our house. There were areas we had to re clean after they left. For the price we paid I would expect a person to move things around as they cleaned. My dining room table had a ring from where they cleaned around a charger plate that was in the middle. Same with the floors. They cleaned around things and didn't move anything to clean under stuff. Like I said they weren't bad but for what we paid, there are better options out there. read more

I rarely write bad reviews for services but these guys have just been worse every time. I have tried them for 4 times now, yes I have given them 4 chances and apart from the first time, I have had awful experiences every single time. Yes they sent someone to do a makeup cleaning for the spots missed but honestly, when the entire cleaning is just so bad, covering what they missed is not the point. After I spoke to them the last time, they assured me they will send their best cleaner and it will not happen again but guess what? I was sent someone new AGAIN, who did a horrendous job AGAIN. I have a toddler and old family member, I do NOT have time to run around professionals who I pay a good amount to do what they are supposed to do. Today was my last time with them and it was again so darn stressful. How is this fair?! Inspite of me reaching out multiple times about my experience! Today I had to ask her to clean the bathroom again as she did not even clean the tub nor the corners. Only the floor was mopped and that also so bad. None of the rooms were dusted. My table in the room was left as is with no clean up, let alone dusting. I have pictures of everything since the beginning but at this point, there is no point. They don't include wiping any of the cabinets, changing the sheets etc in their cleaning. Today she did not even bother to make the beds, let alone do anything about the sheets. I feel like i have wasted so much money on this service by giving them SO MANY chances because I thought everyone is going through a tough time like us. But the stress that comes with these guys is not worth it at all. I am just going to attach the pictures of my chest of drawers to give you an idea. But i have so many!! The floor looks awful, my sons bed was left unmade, and so on. And this is not once, every time its something! Today was THE worst. Most things were left exactly the way they were before she started. Their own cleaner who came once to give a makeup cleaning agreed how bad the job was done! Never again. A sincere advice, work on this. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. Pink Sponge is all talk but terrible service. They rarely showed up on time, then it was difficult to get in touch with them to find out why. Always had excuses but rarely had answers. Their overall work and attention to any detail gets a D and that's generous. One worker spilled some cleaning fluid on the carpet that left a permanent bleached stain. I could go into much more detail on what they didn't do, but it would take too much space. We rarely saw the same person more than once even though we requested a specific worker multiple times. Their turnover rate must be unmanageable. I found it annoying that they constantly called the employee that was at our house to find out how much longer they would be until finished. With limited time here that was counterproductive to getting a satisfactory job and just put undo pressure on the worker. I finally asked Jen (owner/manager) to have the office stop calling while they were trying to clean our house. We tried for a lot longer than we should have to get our house cleaned to a satisfactory level by them. The final straw was this week when the guy that came to our house didn't clean the kitchen sinks, a toilet, sweep or mop a bathroom floor, or vacuum the carpets! I had to stop payment on the last check because it took three days for them to call me back. We finally just gave up and TERMINATED THEIR SERVICE. read more

I realize that my experience may not be typical, but... The woman who came for the walk-through was friendly, and gave a reasonable quote. I was told that the first time cleaning would be more expensive, because they do a very thorough job so that subsequent cleanings or maintenance. When the day came for the initial cleaning, one woman showed up to clean a 3500 square-foot house. She was here for five hours, and the cleaning was wholly in adequate. I have laminate and tile floors throughout, there was no mopping done. Most of the rooms the sweeping was incomplete. The dining room table and kitchen table we're not even wiped down. Several surfaces were still covered with dust. For this they charge $400!!! I blame the company. It is unreasonable to send one person for an initial "deep cleaning" for a house this size. Plus, we get to do the cleaning ourselves tomorrow. read more

I hired this company even though I thought after their assessment of how much it would cost to clean my house once a month was very high. My house is single story 1600 sq ft and very clean/tidy. The first time a girl came she was very thorough. The second time the manager asked me to change days because they are in the area on the new day she wanted me to switch to. I didn't want to do it because it wasn't my day off but I told them okay. 3 women showed up at 4 pm (I have a ring doorbell) and when I got home from work around 6:30 pm they were still here. They finished and left. I walked around my house and saw they never even cleaned the laundry room nor wiped down the top of the refrigerator. There were 3 women here for 3 hours and they didn't clean thoroughly? Come on. I called the next day and Pink Sponge apologized and said they would make note. I then called Pink Sponge back and said I wanted to have my next cleaning on my days off either Tuesdays or Thursdays. They sent a girl named Cloie. Yikes. She starts to walk in my house carrying a plastic box filled with cleaning supplies and rags. The box is leaking and I told her not to bring it in. She proceeds to wipe down my house. 2 hours later she says to me you don't want me to clean the other 2 bedrooms or the laundry room do you? She says it's not in your notes. By this time its 5:15 pm. I said no don't clean them. Just finish with the floors. She proceeds to start sweeping them. I asked her where her vacuum is. She says it's broke. I then told her "you're done. You can leave". The reason I wanted to be here was to make sure my house was being cleaned properly. Even being here couldn't make it happen with this company. read more

They have special folks (I'm talking about you ANA!!) who do a SPECTACLAR job and so are so respectful for your home. I had a team from Pink Sponge come to my home yesterday and it was a pretty mixed bag. The cleaning team consisted of two people - one person taking care of the bedrooms & bathrooms (did a very good job) and one other person taking care of my kitchen, dining, & living rooms (not such a good job). In the kitchen, the countertops weren't cleaned very well, the top of my fridge was neglected outright, and small countertop appliances like a toaster & coffee maker were not moved. So, this person cleaned around things rather than moving them. While the bigger appliances like the fridge and stove were cleaned, the smaller appliances weren't touched at all. In my dining and living room, chairs and floor lamps weren't moved either so those immediate surrounding areas weren't swept, mopped, or vacuumed adequately with little pieces of trash/debris still being left laying around. All in all, not worth what we paid for 3 hours of cleaning. I'll be looking for someone else. read more

For the most part we have been happy with Pink Sponge. Morgan, Lauren, and Amy are great in that they always ask if everything is to our liking, and if it is not, they immediately correct it. I wish the workers weren't under such a tight company timeline and could spend more time cleaning deeply, but they are doing the best than can within their time constraints. Only what you can see without having to look into the cabinets, drawers, inside closets. It looked and smelled clean. This job was supposed to be a MOVE IN Depp clean. I've seen my old apartment cleaner than this and smelled a lot better. The odor was only masked TEMPORARILY and returned a few hours later. This was our first time hiring a cleaning service and being exhausted from the unpacking and organizing, it blurred everything else. My husband pointed out all the dirt that was left behind from the maid. It was only vacuumed and wiped down and prayed with peppermint oil. Only the bottom panels were dusted from the fan and not above- until my husband reached and cleaned himself. I believe they only clean what we as customers are only Going to see! If you HIRE them, I'd do a DEEP WALK THROUGH AND NOT ONLY TAKE THEIR WORD ON IT. I Wouldn't Do a REDO of service, My husband and i cleaned and re-cleaned everything all over again. They've come twice now, and we are THRILLED with the results! The first visit, when they do that deep clean? That woman worked SO HARD, and she made my house SHINE. And the 2nd visit, that woman made it SPARKLE *AND* she left me a thank you note! She left it for me!! We are already SO excited for their next visit. The cleaning is great however a year ago I canceled due to them being on time and communication. Yesterday they asked if I wanted to try again so I set up an appointment at 4pm. At 3:48 I get a call telling me they won't be there till 4:30 which I expressed my feeling but told them I would wait. At 4:53 they still had not shown up or called.
