This is my first time working with a cleaning company and it has been awesome! I was kinda nervous to have people in my home but the minute the team showed up in a cute Pink Bug with eyelashes, I knew that this was right place for me! My team member was so sweet, professional and ready to go! She worked super hard and was respectful or me and my home and made my life so much easier. Prepare for dissapointment, the first visit was a great clean but after that it went downhill. Staff and managers have no sense of urgency to resovle issues. They didn't have the decency to notify me that the house cleaner won't show up the day they were scheduled, after I had called them 3 times to see what was going on. I originally met with Jennifer to go over the specifics of what I wanted to be cleaned. I paid for a deep cleaning service and showed Jennifer all the spots that needed serious work. I was willing to pay the $375 because I knew it would take some work. Jennifer assured me they could take care of these specific areas including baseboards and windows. When the cleaners arrived for the deep cleaning, they did not know which parts of the house were supposed to be cleaned which was very frustrating since Jennifer and I spoke for nearly 30 minutes. The cleaning job itself was horrible. Baseboards and windows were not touched, and they didn't mop the floor or wipe down the outside of the fridge. I called to let them know and they sent someone out for a "fix it" clean. I left a detailed list of what had been missed the first time, including baseboards. The fix-it-clean was better than the original clean, but the baseboards were still untouched. On top of all of this, they charged me TWICE for the deep cleaning service. I reached out and thankfully Jennifer refunded me very quickly. I decided to have them come back a couple more times since then because I have not found a new housekeeper and Jennifer had been very helpful/friendly with everything. However, each time has been poor quality cleaning. My most recent cleaning was better because I was home and I was able to show the cleaner specific areas. She even said, "wow we really did miss these spots". Unfortunately I cannot be home every single time to monitor them. read more

When I first made my call to pink sponge and listed all the things I needed to get done, the lady told me 3 hours would be enough . I should've known how slow Rebecca was from the way she was unloading her cleaning supplies from the car, it took her almost 15 minutes! She took the entire 3 hours to clean just 2 bathrooms and didn't even clean the toilet in the 2nd bathroom. I overheard her telling her manager that she thought it had only been 2 hours, how can you possibly hire someone with such poor time management?! The manager then calls me and asks if I would like to pay for an extra hour so she can finish the rest of the chores, are you kidding me? This is daylight robbery! read more

I do not recommend this company. I have been working with them for 8 months. 6 different people came and they were never on time. My last appointment I was sent a confirmation text and email but no one showed up or called to cancel or reschedule. My 2nd to last appointment was canceled 30 minutes before. Not only are they one of the most expensive but none of their cleaners properly clean. Very unreliable. read more

They say you don't know what you've got till it's gone. Well true that. I was with MaidPro La Verne for 4 years and wanted to change my usual cleanings from Thursday to Friday's and it has been an impossible so decide to go with Pink Sponge. The lady that came and did the quote and walk through said I would get my floors steamed cleaned and the products they use were amazing and the ladies that work for them take pride in what they do. So that sold me. I had my cleaning done in 2.5 hours how is that possible if MaidPro takes 3-4 hrs on a regular basis on a 2,800 sq home how if this is the initial cleaning which should take longer. Well my floors were not steamed cleaned, the kitchen counter tops were not wiped down, the cabinets were dusty, my toilet bowls were not cleaned or moped. My vanity light bulbs and vanity were not dust. The lady that did the cleaning was spraying the floor and cleaning it with a rag. They don't take out the trash I had to ask my son to take the trash out or empty the trash cans. My mirrors were smeared and cloudy. My husband and i called to complain they sent someone on Tuesday and it was a joke it took two people to fake clean their mistake. One lady was telling the other lady what to clean and they were pissed cleaning now where is the pride they take in their business. Anyways Pink Sponge is a total FRAUD! I love supporting women owned business but this is sadly a business that lost my respect and my business. Mind you I am a clean person but need help maintaining and doing the cleaning I can't do and they still couldn't do it right. I don't recommend them at ALL. read more

The set up for service was great. friendly, warm and was great over the phone. I even told them on the phone this was a gift to myself for my birthday so I didn't have to stress getting it done for family for Christmas (stress free was the key part) The problem came day of service. I got a call asking to move up my time up but wasn't able to I'm guessing because of that I got moved to the bottom the of list because the person showed up 5 mins before 5pm. He never gave his name and was rude the whole time. I told him the kitchen and the bathroom where my priority. The guy spent an hour just cleaning the stove top and when I asked why he was only doing that this whole time he said on the paperwork it says its a priority I told him no it's not if that means nothing else gets done. I asked to leave it and please try to do the kitchen and bathroo because that's what was important. He blow me off and only cleaned my stove top. The rest of my home was left as is and to top it all off he left 10mins early. This was the biggest waste of time and money. Pink sponge did 4 cleanings for me. The cleanings were always just good enough to pass. In quite a few of them major areas went unvacummed and unmopped. Imagine paying for someone to come into your home to clean and them not doing the bare necessity like mopping around your trash can. They raised the price twice without notification, and after failing to cancel a cleaning they still charged me. I was beyond patient with them. Their cleaners even broke the handle to one of my showers while cleaning and then awkwardly had a supervisor call me instead of just coming to me directly to discuss what happened. Once the handle was fixed (which to their credit they did pay for) a "supervisor" came to my condo unannounced during the cleaning and proceeded to "whisper" to their worker while they were here. It was deeply uncomfortable. Especially being in the home alone with essentially 2 strangers whispering. Currently they wont return phone calls or emails regarding the refund for the service i never received. I would not recommend using this service. The price is good but you get what you pay for. read more

Caroline was so friendly and gave me lots of helpful info about SoCal as she thoroughly and efficiently cleaned my apartment. When I initially met with Jennifer, their Sales Rep, I was impressed by their business model and that they are employee-centric and that they donate 5% of their yearly proceeds to the American Breast Cancer Society.
