I have been using Pink Sponge for about 8 months now. They clean very well and take any items I request well too. Sometimes a different staff person shows up for the visit and I have to take time to show that person around before I head to work. This may be done if a person is out sick or something and they have to shuffle the schedule around in order to avoid having to cancel and reschedule my house cleaning. I hate to write this cause jennifer was a joy to speak with. However, after being rescheduled due to a family emergency on their side I agreed to having my house cleaned the Following day. I understand the window of 1-5 of them arriving so I settled in for a unknown amount of wait time. The housekeeper showed up at 3:30 okay she's within the window timeframe. She introduces herself and moved her car. 15 mins later she still out at her car. Then when she comes in she puts her supplies down and asks to use the restroom (sure) then she goes into the master bathroom and she's on her phone she sees me and hangs up. I wait another 15 minutes and she is on her phone again and trying "to download her app". Okay I'm pissed. I go get the Mail cause I'm getting a little hot under the collar. I come back around 4:30 and I'm like sweetie you gotta go. Nothing has been done. Then all I get are excuses. "I got lost, there's traffic". Umm okay you got here in your window timeframe but you gotta work not just stand around and make excuses. I'm bummed I wanted this to work. I was kinda nervous to have people in my home but the minute the team showed up in a cute Pink Bug with eyelashes, I knew that this was right place for me! Prepare for dissapointment, the first visit was a great clean but after that it went downhill. Staff and managers have no sense of urgency to resovle issues. They didn't have the decency to notify me that the house cleaner won't show up the day they were scheduled, after I had called them 3 times to see what was going on. I originally met with Jennifer to go over the specifics of what I wanted to be cleaned. I paid for a deep cleaning service and showed Jennifer all the spots that needed serious work. I was willing to pay the $375 because I knew it would take some work. Jennifer assured me they could take care of these specific areas including baseboards and windows. When the cleaners arrived for the deep cleaning, they did not know which parts of the house were supposed to be cleaned which was very frustrating since Jennifer and I spoke for nearly 30 minutes. The cleaning job itself was horrible. Baseboards and windows were not touched, and they didn't mop the floor or wipe down the outside of the fridge. I called to let them know and they sent someone out for a "fix it" clean. I left a detailed list of what had been missed the first time, including baseboards. The fix-it-clean was better than the original clean, but the baseboards were still untouched. On top of all of this, they charged me TWICE for the deep cleaning service. I reached out and thankfully Jennifer refunded me very quickly. I decided to have them come back a couple more times since then because I have not found a new housekeeper and Jennifer had been very helpful/friendly with everything. However, each time has been poor quality cleaning. My most recent cleaning was better because I was home and I was able to show the cleaner specific areas. She even said, "wow we really did miss these spots". Unfortunately I cannot be home every single time to monitor them. read more

When I first made my call to pink sponge and listed all the things I needed to get done, the lady told me 3 hours would be enough . I should've known how slow Rebecca was from the way she was unloading her cleaning supplies from the car, it took her almost 15 minutes! She took the entire 3 hours to clean just 2 bathrooms and didn't even clean the toilet in the 2nd bathroom. I overheard her telling her manager that she thought it had only been 2 hours, how can you possibly hire someone with such poor time management?! The manager then calls me and asks if I would like to pay for an extra hour so she can finish the rest of the chores, are you kidding me? This is daylight robbery! read more

My last appointment I was sent a confirmation text and email but no one showed up or called to cancel or reschedule. My 2nd to last appointment was canceled 30 minutes before. Used them for 3 months. Price not worth it. They didn't clean they just sprayed mint smelling chemicals to make it appear as cleaned. Had 3 different girls come and "clean".
