It is very dark inside even with the neon lights so it does make it hard to read the menus (had to use flashlights on our phone). But super fun spot, fun drinks, not too expensive, and a neat and chill experience! It was an excellent find for us for sure!

The Breakdown: Steak & Eggs: Billed as "Wagyu," which feels like a wildly generous label for what showed up. Ordered rare, arrived proudly at least medium well. The scrambled eggs were decent, but when the side salad and dressing are unironically the absolute highlight of your steak plate... Mother of Dragons: Marketed with a house pineapple-habanero-lime mix, but delivered approximately zero heat. The "dragon" was apparently just a lonely, decorative micro-pepper chilling on top of an iceberg-sized ice cube that took up 95% of the short tumbler. Pure aesthetics, zero kick. The Mimosa: Fresh juice, sure, but nobody warned us it doubled as a smoothie with all that pulp. Worse, the juice-to-champagne ratio leaned way too heavy on the mixer. The Coffee: Stale, burnt diner energy. Dropped off without a spoon or a backward glance to see if we needed anything else. Service & Vibe: It was a ghost town for a holiday weekend, yet somehow service felt like an uphill marathon. Slow pacing, missed check-ins, and zero attention to detail. When the dining room is that empty, you'd expect the staff to at least notice your steak didn't match the order. The drink menu is superb (good bye Dry January) , with not only beautifully crafted cocktails but also creative and healthy non-alcoholic alternatives (finally, a place that gets it!). Whether you're stopping by for drinks or a full meal, the vibe is unmatched. The upstairs space is great for larger groups, while the downstairs offers cozy yet stylish table and dining options. Now, let's talk about the food--because wow. Chef Joseph Castro has taken a simplified concept and elevated it with incredible creativity. Every dish is a work of art, both in presentation and flavor. Highly recommend the Wagyu Hot Rock (an interactive experience), the Ahi Tuna Nachos, the Dumplings, Thai Pumpkin Soup, and the Glazed Salmon. I recently visited Pink Tiger for a birthday dinner, and unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations. Our reservation was for 8 PM, and all our guests arrived between 7:30-8 PM. Upon entering, we were held outside in the cold (around 35 degrees) because the restaurant had reached capacity. I ended up having to argue with security just to get in, and unfortunately, the rest of the party had the same issue. This was frustrating and left a bad first impression. That said, once inside, the service was great, and the ambiance was really nice, especially with the live music playing. The staff was friendly, and the vibe of the venue itself was very pleasant. Now, the food was a major letdown. The deviled eggs were not to my liking at all -- there was what seemed to be wasabi mixed into the yolk batter, which just didn't sit right with me. The filet mignon was overcooked for my taste, and the salmon was decent but nothing special. The sides were also disappointing -- the vegetable medley felt like a haphazard selection. I also tasted one of my friend's Pad Thai, and it was extremely soggy. The rice served with the steak was also overcooked. The only thing I genuinely enjoyed was the garlic noodles pasta, which my friend loved. To top it off, the bathrooms were poorly maintained, which was a bit off-putting considering the otherwise stylish venue. Pink Tiger definitely has potential with its great ambiance and friendly service, but they really need to step up their food quality and overall guest experience. Enjoyed a fantastic dinner and an unforgettable night at Pink Tiger! We were lucky to snag a prime window seat -- perfect for people-watching along The Wharf. Highly recommend grabbing this table if you can! Our server, Emily, was outstanding -- professional, quick, attentive, and full of excellent menu recommendations (all of which we loved). The entire staff was noticeably gracious, which made our visit even more enjoyable -- and honestly, the main reason I felt compelled to leave this review. We also had the chance to meet the owner, who was not only incredibly approachable but fully engaged in the restaurant right alongside her team. It's rare to see an owner getting their hands dirty and taking the time to connect with guests. She shared great DC tips, restaurant recommendations, and made us feel truly seen and appreciated. Just an all-around wonderful person. Now, on to the food and drinks -- which absolutely delivered! The Pad Thai with shrimp was super flavorful, with the perfect balance of sweet and sour. The deviled eggs were a delicious twist on a favorite, the spring rolls were light and crispy, and the burrata was amazing -- fresh and beautifully plated. And let's talk cocktails: we devoured their Let's Make a DILL Martini -- if you love dill, martinis, and a salty kick, this one's for you. Celebrated a friend's birthday at Pink Tiger at The Wharf and had a really fun night. It turned out to be a great spot for a birthday dinner, especially if you're looking for something with a little more energy than a typical restaurant. The live music was a big part of the experience. They had a piano player who sang and played different songs throughout the evening, and the crowd could request songs for $10. It made the atmosphere lively and interactive and added something different to the night. I started with the Retro Kitty, made with rum, elderflower, pineapple, and lemon. Really good cocktail. It was fruity and refreshing without being overly sweet. For dinner, I ordered the Wagyu steak, which came with a hot stone so I could cook each piece exactly how I wanted it. The steak was served with a loaded baked potato stuffed with butter, sour cream, citrus slaw, scallions, and cheddar. I wasn't sure what to expect from the citrus slaw on a baked potato, but it actually worked. It added an interesting, but really nice flavor and texture that made it different from your standard loaded potato. We ended the night with the warm skillet cookie topped with ice cream and chocolate sauce, which was a great way to finish dinner. We recently dined at Pink Tiger at The Wharf and loved the location, the waterfront views and vibrant atmosphere made for a great setting. We started with a variety of appetizers, all of which were delicious and well-prepared. They set high expectations for the rest of the meal. Unfortunately, the main courses didn't quite live up to the appetizers. The chicken in the Pad Thai and the shrimp in the fried rice were both a bit underseasoned, perhaps we're just used to the bold flavors of seasoned shrimp from the Georgia coast. Service was also a bit of a miss. The servers seemed very busy, possibly due to Georgetown's graduation weekend. Our food actually arrived before our drinks, and we had to ask for the drinks, which seemed like they were forgotten. There were also noticeable lapses in the server checking in with us. Overall, Pink Tiger is in a fantastic spot with great appetizers, but the main courses and service could use a bit more attention. The service was also commendable, our server was attentive and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the night. As for the food, it was a mixed bag: The chicken dumplings were the main character -- flavorful and perfectly cooked. The ahi tuna nachos were a pleasant surprise. I'm usually not a fan of raw foods, but these were packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. The pad Thai was just okay -- I've had better elsewhere. The salmon was decent, but not particularly memorable. While I had a nice dining experience overall, the food didn't quite live up to the hype. Hit up Pink Tiger for a pre-Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds bite and it ended up being a solid choice. The staff was cool about accommodating our vegan requests--which isn't always a given. Still, we would have like more options, but they had enough to satisfy. Cocktails were on point. I had the White Negroni ( never heard of it this way but way more interesting than the common orange version), and we also tried one called the Princess that delivered. For food, we went with the tofu skewers and veggie fried rice (no egg)--both good, filling, enjoyed. Chatted with the owner, who mentioned they're planning to add more vegan options for spring, so we'll be keeping an eye out. I live at the Wharf and hit up Pink Tiger often. It's now one of my go-to spots. The managers and bartenders are great, and the energy is perfect - chill, but still with that trendy, upscale feel. It's not one of those places where you feel like you need to be dressed up, but it's nice and comfortable. Their smash burger is hands down my favorite - hits the spot every time. Pink Tiger is a unique and fun spot at The Warf! We went for dinner on Sunday and were pleasantly surprised to find they just opened in January. Interior is colorful and different. We were a group of three and shared a bottle of Sake the hot rock steak, an order of chicken dumplings, deviled eggs, and a chopped salad and it was a good amount of food. Everything was tasty! The atmosphere is mid, not too formal, but not too casual either. Personally, I would have liked to see more drink options, especially for tequila lovers like myself. We shared lots of dishes: a half dozen oysters; tempura fried squash blossoms filled with Maryland crab and cream cheese; an heirloom tomato salad with feta and fried shallots; Massaman curry with fragrant herbs, housemade roti, and the fish of the day; a beautiful halibut dish; and a candied Virginia peanut tiramisu. Everything was tasty, but the entrees really blew my mind - beautiful and delicious. We also each had a glass or two of wine, and they have a great wine list. The service was very friendly, but at some point during our early dinner (our reservation was for 5pm), they got busy and our server disappeared a bit as he got busier.
