It was my first visiting the restaurant. I went over the weekend to celebrate a birthday. They have outdoor seating. Each outdoor table have an umbrella for you can open and close. They had music playing outside as well. When I walked in, I was greeted at the front desk. It was busy inside. The inside was very cute. They have an upstairs where you can eat. I didn't go up and check it out. I could see people seating down. The food was flavorful. I ordered Korean BBQ chicken and garlic noodles. For dessert, I ordered fried cheesecake which was good. That was my first time trying the cheesecake. For drink, I ordered a Purist Margarita. I didn't like it too much. I tried a martini which was pretty good. They do separate receipts ( one for the food and one for drinks). They had a live pianist playing different styles of music which was nice. The live music was 7pm to 2am. read more

Pink Tiger has a good menu and live music Thursday, Friday, Saturday. The kitchen is open late those nights too, so it's one of the few places to eat after 11pm. The food is good, I tried the steak satay and chicken pad thai this time and I would get them again. I was seated at the bar to grab a quick bite and my only complaint is that they add a 20% gratuity to the check but don't tell you about this and the check also lists suggested gratuity at the bottom so you might end up leaving 40% (or more) if you don't review it. read more

Long story short, horrible service they do not care about the customers experience. I have never ordered a padthai this expensive (24+9 for shrimp). The noodles came out dry and gunky to begin with, so when you stick your chopsticks in its all stuck together, and the shrimp was a bit raw. That would have been fine, mistakes happen. When I told them, they simply just threw it back in the pan, resulting in super smokey and burnt noodles. Tasted nothing like pad thai and texture was ruined. No apologizing or acknowledgment I was so upset they thought this was servable, especially for 33$? I asked them to take the dish off my bill and sent it back. We hosted a private event at Pink Tiger for about 30 people. While the space itself is beautifully designed the experience left a lot to be desired, especially at the start. Service & Organization: We had booked the event a couple of weeks in advance, but when we arrived, it didn't seem like they were prepared for us. There was only one server initially handling drink orders for the entire group, and the drinks took a long time to arrive. Some never came at all. We also weren't given any direction on where or when to sit - it was very unorganized. I ended up having to approach the server myself to ask when we'd be seated and when food would be coming out. The event started at 5:30, and although dinner was supposed to be served around 6:00, food didn't arrive until closer to 6:30 or 6:45. The service did gradually improve as the evening went on, but there were still frequent delays and we often had to follow up multiple times to place or re-confirm orders. Many of the drinks we did receive were overly sweet, which made it hard to enjoy them fully. Food: Potstickers: These had good flavor, but the texture was off, they came out pretty hard. I wouldn't recommend them. Shrimp Tempura: This was probably the highlight of the meal. Nicely crispy and well-cooked Chips and Hummus: Very basic. Nothing bad about them, but also nothing memorable. You can skip these. Lumpia: This was pretty good as well - enjoyed the sauce it came with Salmon (Main Dish): I ordered mine medium, and while it didn't come out quite as requested, it wasn't overdone. The flavor was solid, and overall it was a decent dish. Atmosphere: The decor inside is trendy and fun - lots of personality in the space. We were on the second level, which looked nice but was oddly warm for some reason. It wasn't a terrible experience, but it wasn't great either. The food had a few good moments, but the disorganized service and overly sweet drinks really brought the night down. My curiosity and hunger got the best of me while visiting this restaurant which was aesthetically pleasing. They had staff outside luring customers with free drink tickets...which should've been my sign to leave. Anyhow, I stayed and started with the Ginger Margarita, it was a bit unique to me since I never had it and I enjoyed the slight hint of spice. The Pure Margarita was fine, but lacked alcohol. For our main, the Pad Thai was a letdown: small, pricey, and utterly unimpressive, but I think you pay a little extra for the views of the water and the pricey real estate nearby. Overall, slow service and just okay food. There are better options nearby. Also, be sure to review your bill! They automatically add a 20% gratuity after certain hours, so you could easily double-tip. Date of visit: 26.12.2025 The decor and vibe: Overall it is welcoming and nice. Dress coded for smart casual wear based on the website. If you read their brief story on how they came to be. Appetizers: Dumplings and the AHI Tuna Nachos. -Nachos tasted good as a whole. The concept is nice, but its already messy. Each chip is either drowned in sauce or buried with the components. Mixed with the components it came with; it was a bit more enjoyable. With a last two I did mix the dumpling with the nacho and enjoyed it. Main: Bacon and Brussel sprout fried rice, chicken addon. - This was very tasty. It seem to have a nice fusion of what i can guess of a southern twist to the fried rice. It is also filling without it feeling completely heavy. Drink: The last words and champagne - A good drink with a respectful amount of booze in it. Not so much that makes you dance randomly but not light enough that you might as well drink cough syrup. Most importantly it tasted good. - We didn't order it but the end of the meal champagne it the disco light ice cube is a nice touch to end the meal. Overall: A good date night location. Tasty food. Good staff. Is it worth saving money for yes and save enough. My concern: The restaurants talks about fusion and being unique to stand out but it doesn't seem to have many of its own unique twist as many of the items seem to be trends and can be found at other restaurants. I can't give a half star due to yelp ranking system. Its 3.5 to me but I set it at 4 because I lean towards its instead of 3. I know they can become something memorable and not just by the atmosphere. So enjoy the food and location but help their vision by being honest and tweak accordingly. At first glance, this restaurant looks nice and stylish, but once you sit down, you start noticing how dirty and poorly managed it is. The lemons they use for drinks were sitting in a high-traffic corner, and the server grabbed one with the same hands they had been touching everything with and dropped it directly into the drink. Absolutely disgusting. The restrooms were also filthy, bad enough to make you lose your appetite. One of the servers, who wasn't even assigned to our table, stood next to us and the body odor was so strong it made us uncomfortable. The food itself was very average, and after seeing all that lack of cleanliness, we honestly couldn't even enjoy eating. My wife and I celebrated an early Valentine's day there. We had Maya as our server and she amazed us with her customer care. The food was great with the exception of the mango and avocado salad ( very small and almost no avocado). But the entrees of crispy red snapper and the pad thai with shrimp were delicious. Also, Maya suggested the key lime pie and it was a perfect sweet complement to our dinner. They brought an incomplete order (only 4 dishes); one of them had burnt salmon and sticky rice. We returned that dish, they never replaced it, but they still charged us for it on the bill. The rest of the food took more than 30 minutes, so we asked for the check to leave, and that's when they rushed the food out. They packed the remaining dishes to go as a "courtesy," but the quality was just as bad. An important family night ruined by their poor organization. Vibes are cool with the live music but food is overpriced and deceptive/criminal charging practices. First off they completely overcharged us compared to what was on the menu. menu says $15 for wings and $42 for beef/brocoli but they charged us 17$ and 48$? And then an additional operation fee is added. And then reccomened tip reccomendations shows percentages with the operation fee and sales tax included. I always have a really big problem for Asian Fusion restaurants who co-opt Southeast Asian Flavors with no distinct identity that can be traced back to a region or locality. A lot of people might think this is fine, this is DC and there is no standard of authenticity that American restaurants have to uphold, but I argue that this leaves room for a lot of people to misunderstand what Asian food is, why its good, and pushes out other real Asian restaurants who produce the same quality of food but are not willing to cater to a gentrified audience. Restaurants like this will always have to constantly evolve and follow trending foods and innovated by real Asian recipes, so it feels like a ghost of what good Southeast Asian food can be. And I also say that loosely, this menu can be traced to North East Asian or even Hawaiian with the appearance of Ahi Tuna Nachos. At the prices they charge, the food is bound to taste good, and it is bound to attract a wide range of customers who like to see the live music and opulent decor, but when it comes down to it, would they be able to build out a distinct menu that really elevates Asian food? No. So I do not give them that credit. A lot of the items we see on the menu are all inspired by street foods of Asia, but because they have a hybrid-Asian American Fusion approach, they relocate a lot of traditional flavor pairings like pairing eel sauce with lemongrass, or plating lumpia on a plate of Red-40 sweet and sour. Which is good, but lacks a lot of nuances made in Asian recipes of why one would pair a certain aromatic or why one wouldn't want to drench something in one of the five sauces Americans can loosely identify as "Asian." And knowing that these are all street foods (meaning, not foods you would find in an actual Asian fine-dining restaurant), it feels disheartening and a little scammy to charge things like a single skewer, satay, or even a plate of rice noodles (Pad Thai) at that price. The wait to prepare these foods was also just very long, and I understand that they are dealing with a high volume of customers, but I also think this speaks to how their menu is just too underdeveloped to scale up and pump out. This is also disappointing knowing that this is suppose to be an elevated version of the street food originals. Our wait time was so long, that we got a free appetizer that we had previously already ordered so it was kind of like a slap in the face and take my money type of thing. My actual appetizer was the Green Curry w/ Mussels, which I felt like I really lucked out on because I was trying to avoid the random sauces they were adding to the item and trying to venture away the more basic items. This was good, the sauce was very garlic heavy, I would have liked to actually pick up on the unique notes of curry which is a multi-ingredient paste that is suppose to add a lot more notes than just garlic, but I'll take it bc it was actually steamed in a coconut milk that paired well with the liquor of the mussels. Everyone else at my table felt disappointed with the Pad Thai because it came plain with an additional charge for any protein including tofu, Glazes Salmon which had a thin fillet of salmon and a mountain of under seasoned mixed vegetables, Filipino Pork + Chicken Adobo was too salty. As a soy-based dish its easy to up the sodium, but what a lot of adobo is actually need is a sweetener and time to simmer, our pork was extremely tough and hard to chew through all the tendon, which typically gets cooked down from simmering. Dessert menu made no sense for the type of restaurant this was so was a skip for us. read more

My family and I tried out Pink Tiger located at the Wharf on 9/20/25. We didn't have a reservation but I was able to get us inside seating for four. Our server brought us water within 5 mins of us sitting down. The tap water was horrible. We all scanned through the menu and placed our order. Unfortunately I didn't get any pics of the food. My son did not like his smash burger as the meat was thick and not smashed. The fries were not hot or even warm. My garlic rice was good though. The best part of our night was the live entertainment. The fabulous singer/pianist was awesome!!! I didn't get his name. You could pay $10.00 and he would sing the song requested. The place is beautiful! If you're looking for a fun night out, do your self a favor and go between Thursday and Saturday. The piano man is amazing! And he takes requests! You may need reservations... it gets packed in. I have been here at least twice a month for a few months! The food is really good, the bar is great, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Came here for a birthday party and was incredibly disappointed. The reservation was made for 8:30 2 months in advance and we weren't seated for almost another hour since they lost our reservation. We had to wait at the outdoor bar area for the entire time. The waiter wasn't accommodating or nice to us. It seemed like he was avoiding us and didn't listen to any of our asks. For example, it very late when we started ordering and we asked if we could order food alongside apps and drinks and he ignored us and wouldn't let us order. Nothing was comped and we weren't treated well for the inconvenience. The food took SO long to come out and it was the worst. The plating was messy and between identical orders, the taste and look were inconsistent. The food itself was bland and didn't taste good. For the location and price point it was highway robbery. 10/10 would not recommend anyone coming here. When we asked for the check, one of the owners came out to ask if we wanted a round of shots. The vegetarian food options are very bland and tasteless. We tried a couple of their veg appetizers and were displeased. The only dish I recommend is the mushroom quesadillas. For the entree, we did a mix and found that two of 4 dishes were worth it. The Garlic Chili Noodles and the Adobo dish are worth it because they're sauce-y and are filled with flavor. The Thai Fried Rice & Eggplant dish (Mediterranean Moussaka) were both tasteless. The Fried Rice needed chili oil and a hot sauce & the Eggplant dish was thin stripes of eggplant drowned in a 4 cheese dip. GET THE FILET MIGNON BEEF & BROCCOLI!!! We arrived for an 8pm reservation and were seated immediately. The decor and ambiance are great, I loved the low lighting!! There was live music, apianist/singer who was performing many great hits. According to him, he's there every Thurs, Fri, and Sat from 7pm - 1am. Our waiter, I forget his name, said he was new but he still did a great job. We ordered some drinks (they weren't memorable) and for apps, we had a shrimp skewer (it was ok) and a steak skewer (tasted like the sauce might've been the only "seasoning"). For dinner, I got Thai Fried rice ($26) and added wagyu steak (+$12). The aroma from the rice was excellent and I enjoyed my first few bites but there was something "off" about it after more bites. One the contrary, I tasted bae's Filet Mignon & Broccoli ($42) and it was sooooo good!!! The sauce they put on that beef was amazing!! I thought the broccoli was under-seasoned but when mixed with the sauce it is 10/10!! I stopped in the bathroom and it was definitely in need of attention... the garbage can was almost full, there were paper towels on the floor by the toilet, and water all around the sink. Also, this restaurant is located at The Wharf so parking is either challenging or expensive (especially if there's an event at The Anthem). We went with the Crab Curry Bisque and Chopped Ceaser Salad. ~ The salad was fresh and came with wonton croutons (MUCH better than the bread variety, in our opinion) as well as spiced Asian pear, which added extra flavor and delicious sweetness to the otherwise "average" Ceaser Salad you get when ordering at your typical restaurant. We chose not to add a protein, but they have 4 to choose from. ~ The Bisque -- OHHHH MYYY. As soon as I tried my first spoonful ,I said those exact words and savored the flavor explosion in my mouth. It was a glorious combination of Curry, spice and a mild addition of coconut milk, laced with tender pieces of Maryland Crab. My husband and I both thought there was plenty of Crab in there for us to share, but others might not agree (even if they are ordering it for themselves). **One thing I have learned by working in the service industry for almost 30 years is that you can't please everyone! Beautiful restaurant. Had their lychee martini. It could use some work. Garnished with a lemon and not the actual fruit? Little off but it was ok. You would expect an Asian fusion would have excellent lychee martinis as they are really popular. Appetizers were delicious ( dumpling, edamame , tuna nachos) no complaints. My entree I got the wagyu beef satay and a side of Thai rice. Steak skewers were cooked perfectly. Fried rice was a little disappointing, it was very mushy & loaded with soy. It was too overcooked. Our server was excellent. He was on top of the table. Even gave us champagne on the house. Fried cheesecake was also very delicious. I would definitely come back. Such a fun spot! They had a piano singer when we were there this past weekend for Mother's Day. While my family was waiting for our table to be ready, my sister and I sat at the bar. She had a beer and I had the coconut margarita, which was a fun take on a classic drink. We were then seated and our server was very attentive especially when suggesting vegetarian options for my mom and grandma. My dad and I split a wagyu hot plate as an appetizer which was delicious. I ordered the garlic noodles with tofu while my sister ordered the salmon. We ended up switching entrees because we liked the other's meal so much! The restaurant is very pretty and decent sized. We had a party of 12 and they were able to accommodate. The server was nice and attentive. He made sure we had everything we needed. The food was overpriced and just okay. We tried many things off the menu like the whole snapper, flounder, Korean wings, deviled eggs, pad Thai, pork belly and chicken satay, shrimp tempura and ribeye steak. The whole snapper was probably the best dish. It was fried and had a soy garlic ginger sauce with bok choy. Everything else was okay. The Korean wings were soggy. The pad Thai was flavorless. Pork and chicken satay were dry. The white rice that was served with the meals was undercooked and hard. The espresso Thai martini was delicious. Overall we probably won't be back again. for the past 2 years I've had beef with the wharf due to the price tag of places like @ reflecting only the great ambiance - on a warm sunny day this place was gorgeous. great outdoor seating with colorful decorations and happy music playing. perfect for parties of all sizes - around us tables had colorful fun cocktails and our appetizers were killer. the wings were hefty with juicy meat just drenched in that spicy Korean wing sauce we know and love while still having a crispy outer layer - I did not try the burrata but I was a bit confused how that ended up on a South American and Asian fusion menu - the ahi tuna nachos were really fun. the wonton crisps were thick with pockets of air, adding another crunch factor. solid sauce and topping distribution as well! could use a lil more tuna but I'd probably always say that - my friend slurped down the garlic noodles, which are basically a glorified Asian butter noodle. the pad Thai and shrimp curry were well done and thank goodness big serving sizes. my Asian Caesar had actually the most perfectly cooked chicken. huge points for that. dressing rather flavorless. points away. - however, the waiter brought it out about 15 minutes after all my other friends received their entrées. I think he because I noticed him come out and then run back to go get it. he was pretty uninvolved and I can't say the service was good. it took over 20 minutes to get the check... - despite the big serving sizes I just feel like places like this up charge for a happy environment. Satay was delicious! We had both shrimp and waigu satay. The salad with it was mediocre -- very heavy on the raw onions and very little dressing.
