We have been visiting Laughlin every summer and stay at the edgewater hotel, and this year we finally had chance to try Pinkbox doughnuts. Although from my previous review, we had a couple of negative interactions with their customer service in the beginning, they went above and beyond to make things right. We even had the pleasure of meeting the management, who was such a great guy! The donuts were incredibly tasty, and the coffee was delicious. My kids and I enjoyed them very much. It was definitely worth the wait, and we will be returning on our next visit to Laughlin! read more

This place is a must visit, my iced latte mocha was hand-made fresh, and the donuts were exquisitely delicious and sinful. The staff is very friendly and fun! What a selection of pastries! I had a hard time choosing. I chose a traditional glazed donut. Next time, i will get a whipped cream strawberry filled donut like my friend did. Decided to visit Laughlin with the family from Vegas. Was next in line when we were cut off and told cash only. I was very disappointed since I waited in line for 10 minutes with my daughter, who all day asked for pinkbox. I never carry cash, always just a card. Not sure why the sudden change to cut off cards. After giving this location a chance I will no longer buy from this location. Serving CHILLED WET (the glaze was gone and the outside was wet) jelly donuts and CHILLED stale hard as a rock apple fritter is ridiculous. They are not made locally!! These donuts are not fresh and are nothing like the other Pinkbox stand alone locations where they are made fresh and are great. Ok .... This was my first time to pink box.... There was a couple in front of me getting over a dozen donuts....(there are a ton to choose from) they were being helped by young lady behind the counter. There were two other young ladies also behind the counter, and when I came up and asked me if I wanted a beverage or coffee, and I told him no just donuts....... both then turn their backs and continue talking to each other and ignored me. An older woman by the name of Donna was cleaning the outside area and bench. She asked if I was being helped I said no she said she would go behind the counter and clean up and help me. (Which she did and was awesome) I ordered 6 donuts, John lemon, pb&j, Pooh, Vegas, banana cream and the porky ( maple bar with bacon) when the next person came up while I was ordering one of the young girls helped him... he wanted just a donut also... I was very put off by these two girls obviously more interested in themselves! But Donna saved the experience for me and I will be back because the donuts were amazing and I hope she is there to take my order so I don't have to deal with nonsense..... read more

I simply love this place . I bought over a dozen plus donuts . Anyone that gives PinkBox low scores has no patience whatsoever since this is grand opening week, month etc... people in this town just need to chill and relax. Those who think the cost of a good tasting donut are crazy. People spend more money gambling in this town and don't know what good, great tasting places are. All they know is what they are used to have in this town. People need to open their eyes because more new places are coming to town. Just be grateful and have more patience for the new places opening up. Yes they maybe a little slower because they just opened and they were helping the new staff they hired. I was just there again today and the line moved very quickly . If you need a special order a day or two in advance, you can prepay your order ahead of time which will make your pickup easier. Thank you PinkBox for bringing a wonderful tasting donut place for Laughlin Nevada. I am a regular customer here in town. I remember first walking past Voodoo doughnuts in Portland in 2006. I saw the line down the street. I was like it is a F***ing doughnut people come on. Well here we are in 2023 and that craze has finally made it all the way to Laughlin in the form of Pink Box doughnuts. One of the many Voodoo gourmet doughnut knockoffs that popped up all over the country. Voodoo by the way is all the way in Orlando Florida now LOL. Anyway enough about Voodoo, how are these Pink Box doughnuts. Pretty good, on the upper end of what I have tasted for gourmet doughnuts. But they aren't exactly cheap either. 2 bucks for a cake doughnut isn't my idea of a good deal. But anyway it is in a Casino and nowadays there aren't deals in Casinos like the old days. They have some pretty original flavors, but if you like a few doughnuts and not just one, be prepared to pay almost what it would cost for a good breakfast. 3 stars but original flavors and cute decor bumped them up to 4. read more

The decor & ambiance are great! I love how everything was branded and so brightly. We did not experience any rudeness during our visit like several reviews talked about so we were glad for that. This was our first time at a Pinkbox and I was very leery after being told by others that they weren't that great for the high prices they charged. Since we were at The Edgewater for an event I needed to see for myself. The prices on their classic donuts were very reasonable and not much different than other local donut shops. It's only more expensive if you get the fancier donuts. I used to be a barista and people would tell me "I'm not paying $5-$8 for a damn cup of coffee!" Umm, no no ~ a cup of coffee (back then) was $1.95 for the venti, it's when you get into the latte's, fraps, etc that the price increases! Same here. The ONLY negative I have is the ol' fashioned glazed & ol' fashioned maple donuts are under their classics and $1.95 each but their ol' fashioned chocolate is under their Good Fellas donuts and are $2.75 each. WTH! For $1.95 you can get a chocolate bar and 3 other chocolate covered donuts INCLUDING their triple dipped round donut. I truly don't understand this logic. I understand the more fancier the high the price but not what I just explained. I did have a glazed ol' fashioned & chocolate bar and I liked them. My family and I went to pinkbox inside the Edgewater casino on a Saturday night at 10pm. They only had 5 donuts to choose from. They were out of almost everything. 5 out of 70 flavors. It says online they are open til 1am, but it seems it's 1am or whenever they run out. I asked if they are going to bring out more and they were extremely rude to me about it. If you're open for 3 more hours wouldn't you make more? Ones that are fresh and not from 6am when they open? There was a long line and they didn't bother to tell anyone that they should stop lining up because there were only 5 flavors and about 20 donuts total left. We came in at 5:10pm and were told that they were closing because they "sold out" when there were still at least 5 trays of donuts left to choose from and 2 more hours until they were officially closed. We asked if we could still order coffee. The name of the cashier on the receipt is Sierra R, she was very rude and told us she didn't know if we could get the coffee because she did not want to have to make it. She rang us up and made the other employee make the drink as I am looking at my receipt I see she charged me for a large yet had the girl make me a medium. When I asked a simple nice question about the price on why it was that of a large yet being served a medium she rudely snatched the receipt from my possession and said in a very angry mean manor "the almond milk is more." When that was not specified at the counter. If you give me 3 options to choose from there should be a note that there is an extra charge and the receipt should specify that which it did not. I am very displeased with this visit and felt like a burden for going to a public shop to get a drink which it's made for. Coffee and donuts. That's it. I have worked in customer service for 15+ years and know this is unacceptable. The donuts may be good but the service is terrible. If you can't match the ambiance the company displays maybe you shouldn't have a job with them. If there was an option for less then 1 star that would not even suffice. read more

Giving 3 stars and here is why... I really wanted to like this place. The presentation of the donuts and the store itself is adorable. Which is what attracts people. However the donuts were not as good as I was hoping. They tasted old and just not up to the standard I was expecting. I've had better at a grocery store. I will be honest in saying I've only tried 3 of their donuts. So minus the 2 stars for the experience I did have. I'd be willing to give it 1 more try. But if they're still not great then my rating will drop & I won't go back. I also know of people close to me who were also disappointed. Not worth the price unless they start making them fresh.
