Rushed is an understatement! I came at an off hour hoping they would take just a few minutes more to address my issues.I'm older with thicker brittle nails that I file down before even arriving at the salon. I have been getting powder gel/sns manicures for years and have struggled to find a solid place. I've tried businesses across Harrison, Mamaroneck, and Yonkers - many times leaving with cut up and sore cuticles or dip starting so far from the cuticle it already looks a few days grown out. The manicure I just received was amazing. The woman that did my nails was super gentle, friendly, and was meticulous in making sure my nails were even in length and not thick or chunky. They also have a TON of sns colors! They did a great job of cleaning/sanitizing and making the experience comfortable! Every-time i go here they do an amazing job! The only reason why i cant give higher than 3 stars is because they over book chair. Every time i go i have to wait for at least 20 minutes and I have an appointment. When you get in the chair they do a great job but sometimes they leave you to do other peoples nails. First time visiting Pinko Nails & Spa and I can't wait to come back!!! I've recently started working in the area and needed to find a place who can see me late in the afternoon/ early evening. I called at 4:30 pm and they were quite accommodating for a 5:45 appointment. There was a warm greeting and a quick contactless temperature check. I was then asked to wash my hands and come back to pick a color. As I walked to the back area, I noticed the place was super clean, no chemical odors, music playing softly and just a generally relaxing ambiance. I picked my color and proceeded to the nail technician, Vivian. Vivian asked about my nails and their current condition. Let me just say my nails were in rough shape. I typically have UV Gel wraps in my natural nail. Last visit was 2 weeks ago at a local place who agreed to see me at 6 and then rushed through my nails. They were lifting 3 days later. So I explain this to Vivian and she responded "do you have time? I'd like to really take my time with your nails." I absolutely have time for a great job.... and that doesn't start to explain how great a job she did. My service was ended with an amazing shoulder massage, after she sanitized her hands. The whole experience was a great one. As it ended I though, I have to write a review. I'm in my car writing because I am so satisfied and couldn't let myself forget. The place is new and looks super clean, but they nickel dime the customer without asking for approval. They asked me if I wanted top coat ( who does nails w/o topcoat?) Of course I said yes - well that's $1 more for mani and $1 more for pedi. Choose color - I did it was $8 more at check out, apparently some colors are more expensive than others. I wonder if you bring your own color in whether you get a break on the price. Also dryer area not distanced. Clean - but never going there again. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Let me start by saying the first few times I went they did an okay job, but were never very nice. They constantly judge you and make remarks to their fellow co-workers if you change your mind about anything. I asked for French but decided the pale pink looked nice. This was a huge issue that I changed my mind (Even though they didn't put on the white yet?) I also didn't particularly like the shape of my nail. I asked very nicely a few times to fix the shape and although she did give it a try it just wasn't what I wanted. As I continue to be nice about this issue she decides to complain to the next Nail tech about me, you don't have to speak their language to understand how rude they're being. I could go on and on but moral of the story is who wants to waste their time and money on a place that just makes them leave in anger. Ridiculous. read more
