Then the brush fire happened and got relocated to Hungry Valley. Understandable . Both times that they relocated us , Kelly was very accommodating and communicative through text. She made sure that we keep the same day , same time slot no matter what or offer a full refund. When we got to the location in the day of , Silvia and girl (I forgot her name ) who checked us in were very helpful and nice and wanted to make sure we were prepared . During these COVID times , they took our temperature , made sure we sanitized our hands , and put a sanitary head and mouth covering on before putting the sanitized helmet on . We got there an hour early because we had to commute from an hour away and wanted to be on time . They let us ride early as soon as we got there and Sylvia was a fantastic guide . She took amazing pictures of us and made sure we were okay throughout the ride The trail was beautiful and the scenery was captivating . Everything you need to have a great time we had the Mercedes Winnebago Jay class which was unbelievably powerful and quiet along with generator power, star link for our Wi-Fi, heat air conditioning. Everything was included. Silverware cooking utensils, bedding, pillows, awning in pop out dining area. It was incredible. The even included outdoor chairs and tables. LED lighting and Bluetooth capable outdoor speakers! It was a wonderful time. And even more wonderful was the professional and personable experience with the associates I dealt with during my RV rental. Family owned and dedicated to making every step of renting a high quality capable RV a simple process. Absolutely the nicest people I've ever dealt with. I would and I am planning to rent from Chill RV in the near future. Class A #1 service! The best part was the accommodations and flexibility of picking up and dropping off the RV. They went out of their way to meet me at the RV drop off point. They also decorated the inside of the RV for my son's 7th year anniversary with his girlfriend. I wish I remembered his name! He also had the sweetest dog named Stella. When we arrived, the employee who got us set up on the boat was just as great -- patient, informative, fun, and super easygoing. We rented a boat for 2 hours and it ended up being the perfect Memorial Day activity. Two rentals here, two completely different experiences. My first was perfectly fine. My second left…read moreme with no intention of ever coming back, and the reason has a name: the owner, Mark Sentyrz. Credit where it's due -- the staff working the docks were warm and helpful every time. The owner was the opposite. What I watched over the course of that second visit was a man who seemed to make up charges and rules as he went. The clearest example was my own deposit, which somehow climbed from the $300 I was quoted when I booked online to $450 on arrival -- a 50% jump I never agreed to and never saw written anywhere during checkout. And I wasn't the only one. Customer after customer got the same treatment. One person tried to simply walk away from the whole thing, and he laughed at them and announced he'd be keeping their $95. The way he treated his own team was just as hard to watch. Certain employees seemed to be his favorites; others he'd put down openly, right in front of paying customers. The whole place had a tense, on-edge feeling to it. He struck me as genuinely intimidating, and honestly, if I worked there I don't think I'd ever feel safe pushing back on any of it. One more thing I'd want to know before handing this person a deposit. According to a 2003 Tahoe Daily Tribune article, a Mark Sentyrz who owned a Lake Tahoe boat-rental business pleaded guilty to felony unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor under 16, as well as furnishing a controlled substance to a minor. I'd encourage anyone curious to look it up and form their own view. Having a boat rental right here in the Marina should be something the community gets to enjoy. The way this one is run, it's the opposite. Skip it.
