**review for Nancy!! She is so talented, quick & pays attention to detail. She listened to what I wanted - full ombré coffin set. She shaped my nails perfectly (coffin) and didn't question me when I asked to go shorter. She pays attention to detail and I didn't have to ask her to fix any nails. She is talented and my nails came out thin & perfect!! $45 full set + $10 tip. Totally worth it!! Love that this shop is open on a late Sunday afternoon too!!! I am very happy to have found a new place to do my acrylic nails, I was looking for a place that didn't make me feel like they were doing me a favor. I was looking for a place that welcomes new customers as well as cares to keep them. After calling to ask for prices I was given a time I could come the same day since they were busy right then, plus they followed up with a call and a text as soon as the opening happened sooner. I was greeted with hospitality and my technician introduced herself as well as asked for my name, something so simple that goes a long way. Kim did my nails and I'm absolutely thrilled with my new acrylic nails! Kim was both friendly and professional, taking the time to really listen to my preferences and create a look that exceeded my expectations, she made some magic by combining two colors! i came here to get acrylics for the first time, and the experience was very pleasant! the ladies were very nice and welcoming. i didn't get the name of the lady who did my nails, but she made sure i was happy with my nails and they turned out amazing! i also came back to get my acrylics removed, and the process was a little painful because they peel off the fake nail, however i think it's because my nails are weak/thin to begin with (so if you nails are thin like mine, i would wait and strengthen them before getting acrylics) i would definitely come back again to get my nails done! make sure to bring cash, they do not accept card! *pictures are of my nails a little over 2 weeks later, no lifting or chipping!!* read more

Man this is like the 3rd time I forgot to ask for the name of the woman who did my nails but compared to other nail salons I've been to, she does acrylic sets really good considering the price. I got a special deluxe pedicure from Nancy on Christmas Eve. Nancy is skilled and professional. I especially like reading while using the reclining massage. Nice to have a pedicure and foot massage after a long weeks work. The shopping center has many restaurants and other businesses if you need to shop also. read more

Brought my sister here the day before Thanksgiving, they were empty so she was seen as soon as we got in. $75 for a gel pedicure and a gel full set. Nice and clean place. Parking can get tough as there is a lot going on in this parking lot. The photo she showed the lady wasn't what we ended up with, bummer. read more

Went in about an hour before closing for a full set and a pedi for my kid. Nhung was there and helped us both. She was so nice and just super easy going and easy to talk to. My brain was fried after a long day at work so I got there and drew a blank on what I even wanted to do with my nails. I told her just a milky pink and she got it. I said she could just paint my girls toenails and she went above and beyond, added flowers and a glitter coat. Very patient and nice lady. And the shop was so empty and quiet (because they were going to close). She got us in and out quickly too. read more

I came back a month later and didn't get Nancy and my nails look horrible. Gel is all underneath my nail and she didn't even file them even after I asked. Next time I'll make an appointment with Nancy. Now I have to go pay to get them fixed. read more

This was my first time here. I will defiantly be back. I think price is a big part. This place is a good price compacted to other local spots. The lady there (didn't get her name) did a pretty quick job of fixing the broken nails I had (2) and filling and trimming the others. No smudging or crooked nails. No stuff underneath my nails. I've never been in so much pain getting my nails done before. I called in to make sure they had time to take me, they said sure come on in. I was asked to pick a color when I got there and to my disappointment they didn't have any of the colors I chose (they didn't have 4 of the colors I wanted, finally settled the 5th time for a color that I didn't really want). Fast forward I had to wait for almost 20 minutes (I was in a rush hence why I called before, but was told I'd be helped right away). Service: terrible! The lady helping me seemed like she was in a rush the whole time and she was very inattentive. Filing way too fast which resulted in multiple cuts; literally 1-2 cuts on all my fingers. The salon itself is nice, I just wish the service was better. Maybe I went on an off day. However I don't think I'll be returning. read more

It's very much obvious that they didn't remove my previous extensions. When I asked the lady (I believe her name was Nancy) , she was rude and started speaking in her native language. She wasted 45 mins of my time and still didn't have an explanation why she didn't remove old extensions. Please avoid this place. read more

They did me right! I stopped by for a last minute Father's Day mani pedi and the staff got me right in. The woman who did my nails was able to do the design just like I showed her. She also made friendly conversation and was easy to talk to. Place was clean and I love that they accommodated my daughter while she waited as well. The pedicurist took her time on my pedicure using the paraffin was and with the hot oil massage--very relaxing! Also appreciated their use of the plastic liners for the pedicure tub. They do their eyebrow waxing in a little room off near the back for added privacy so that was nice as well. Happy to tip them and would visit again! read more

So my last two experiences here were positive with Kimmy and another woman, but this time around, work was terrible and low quality. Made an appt at 5pm and it was completely empty in the salon for the first 1.5 hours I was in there, so I really don't understand there being an excuse for messy work. It wasn't crowded or closing time. I'm pretty disappointed despite pointing out flaws and I just couldn't wait any longer to stay and fix more mistakes. My shellac was lumpy, uneven and not completely covering the entirety of my nails. Just make an appt with ONLY KIMMY who works here or Christina Nails in Newark with Christina for solid, consistent high quality work. read more

Came here yesterday to get a mani pedi and overall didn't have the best experience. While the ladies were very nice, I felt rushed during my time there. The ladies seemed to be going as fast as they could as they had other appointments coming soon. When trimming my cuticles, they were a little rough about it and I felt like the area around my fingers kept getting nipped. Mind you, I had also made an appointment several hours in advance, so it's not like I was a walk in. I felt like they should have allocated more time into my service. One of the best parts about getting a mani/pedi is the massage that comes with it. However, my hand massage was literally about 30 seconds per hand. In addition, the lady that did my pedicure finished off my leg/foot massage by pounding on my legs, which by itself, is very typical of an asian massage. However, she hit my ankle bone a few times pretty hard, and I'm surprised that she didn't notice she was hitting a hard bone. This morning, I woke up with a bruise on my ankle which is very sore right now. I was disappointed because this place had really good reviews but I'll be finding another nail salon to go to moving forward. read more

I can't understand how they book you for an appointment when they know they are booked!!!! I called at 430pm and they said come at 530pm. I came in and 3 people are already seated and they told us to pick colors and wait. But I noticed they are still doing pedicure on 2 and has not started on the 3rd one. When I asked how long they said they are running behind! I was dropped off and don't drive so I have to call to get picked up! There's a girl that. And in after and she too has a 530pm appt and they made her come back tomorrow How inconsiderate!!!! read more

Excellent service from the minute I walked in! Greeted with friendly smiles and great energy. Van was my nail tech and she was fabulous! She paid very close attention to detail and gave such a relaxing massage! I recommend getting the deluxe pedicure because you have to get the parafin wax treatment-makes your feet feel rejuvenated and so smooth! I can't wait to come back in 2 weeks! I came here once and it was a good experience. I got a mani and pedi with my mom. I was with the salon owner I believe and she was attentive and asked me to let her know if I didn't like something which I appreciated! This second visit, it was a different story. I was with a different lady, did not know her name. I had to ask her a couple times to fix something. First, the nail shape for my pedi. Then, she took off gel polish from my manicure before but left some on. When I did this, every single time I would ask for something she would say something in her native language. Maybe she was upset I was asking her to correct things I didn't like? But she started doing it every single time after I asked her to fix something. First, I told her if she was going to take off the excess gel from my previous mani. She got the drill and drilled my nail until it burned. My nails are so weak, thin, and brittle. Next, I asked her to add polish on the side of my nail (missed spots), same thing happened. The gel is so uneven. It was just not a good feeling. At the end, I tipped her $2 and she chuckled and started speaking in her language again. So unprofessional. Didn't know what she was saying, but you just know. If it was a good job, I would have tipped more. $68 for gel/mani pedi. That chipped after two days. Worst nail experience I've ever had in my life. My nails are ruined. read more

The atmosphere was lovely and I truly wanted to like this place, but no. I waited 15 minutes for an gel mani/pedi APPOINTMENT (called two days before and no one wrote it down), just to be placed in a pedicure chair with lukewarm water (I asked twice for hot) for an additional 15 minutes. "Kimmie" was rushed, as she was trying to squeeze me in between appts and CUT me twice on my toe and finger. I bled. Rubbing alcohol at home helps. And the final straw: 5 days later my "gel manicure" has chipped. Save your money and your time and go anywhere else but here. There's too many nail salons in UC to bother with Pinky's. read more

July 26, 2019 Fri Our first time here. Appears very pleasant and clean. It's next to Marina market and Daiso. My daughter treated me to a pedicure. It was a fun and relaxing experience except towards the end when my attendant had trouble with artwork and had to start over a couple times. I know this place has great reviews but unfortunately my experience wasn't the greatest. The design and shape were cute... BUT I felt like the Nail Tech had no respect for my natural nails and just didn't "get it". I feel like all she may be used to are acrylics. I take great care for my natural nails and get gel on top to strengthen them and prevent them from breaking. She buffed them SO THIN they bent and broke one by one. I've grown them for months and this has never happened. I was heart broken. Lesson learned. I'll stick to Yvonnes Nails off of Mowry where they have more consideration. read more

When I got home, I realized part of the skin on my upper eyelid had been ripped off during the waxing. I contacted the salon immediately, and the owner was trying to help me... however, I understand asking whether I was on antibiotics is a standard question, but even after I explained that I wasn't on any medication and sent a photo clearly showing a skin tear, I felt the focus was more on finding another explanation than acknowledging the injury. I followed every aftercare instruction exactly as advised, applying ointment every three hours and avoiding hot water for the next 36 hours. When my eyelid remained swollen and painful, I reached out again and asked if they could refund my eyebrow service. Instead, I was told : " I'm sorry it still is in bad condition but it looks like you didn't use any ointment like I suggested" As someone who cares about my skin and previously worked in the aesthetics industry, that assumption was extremely disappointing because I had followed their instructions carefully. I understand that accidents can happen during waxing. What disappointed me was how that was handled afterward. As a long-time customer, I expected more professionalism and accountability.

Nobody rushed me with "hello what do you want" or shoved a color wall in my face before I even sat down. I actually felt like a person, not just another number to get in and out. It wasn't until I was sitting there that I realized how used to bad treatment I'd gotten. Other salons trained me without me even noticing, packed into a tiny space, treated like I'm on a conveyor belt, rushed out before my nails even had time to properly dry. I had honestly forgotten my time and my experience mattered. Delane's brought that back for me. The professionalism was on another level too. No games with the price going up if you don't tip in cash, which is honestly tacky and rude and tells you exactly how little they think of their customers. Nobody crowding me in next to three other people either. It was calm, it was peaceful, it actually felt relaxing instead of stressful. And the cleanliness. Towels were fresh, equipment looked properly cleaned, none of that murky blue water sitting in a dirty container that's clearly been there for who knows how long. Even the bathroom was clean, and that alone tells you a lot about how a place is really run. Once you go to Delane's and get treated with that kind of value and respect, you won't want to go back to anywhere else. And honestly, you shouldn't have to. Ask for Brandi.

I feel like she truly understands the art and science of massage therapy, especially given how insanely tense my shoulders have been. I have a ways to go to loosen the months worth of tension in my shoulders but my massage with Tiffanie was exactly what I needed after a stressful few months!
