This place continues to be incredibly unsanitary. The technicians shave off the cuticles instead of cutting them. Some of the technicians don't even clean your cuticles. They use the same disgusting tools and scrub sponges from each pedicure. It's so disgusting and rushed, and definitely not a calming luxurious experience. They never sanitize their tools. Their hot towels are disgusting and they rinse it in the pedicure seat tubs. read more

She started working on my nails and then another lady walked in and they started working on her nails? They were friendly, and decent prices, but my service was too rushed and not thorough enough, particularly the pedicure. I just got it done last night and my left big toe is already chipped. It's not like I went at the end of the day, we had plenty of time (and I had booked an appointment). Did not spend enough time on my pedicure, as I still have visibly dry skin around my toes and heels when I got home, as well as around my thumbs. I hate this place. I tried twice thinking it would be okay but nope. My gel pedicure didn't last more than 2 days. My full set acrylic lasted less than 2 weeks before they literally started popping off. A waste of $140. I called and they literally laughed and said they don't believe me even though I took pics with time stamps. Then they said I can get it redone but have to pay ... The guy actually laughed. I was in a wedding and he said wow that wedding was log because I said I couldn't come to get it fixed during the wedding. They take pictures of your feet (without even asking permission)???? I've never had my hands or feet taken pictures of at any nail shop I've ever been to, so this was very new and weird behavior. I got a pedicure at a different shop two days ago but I needed to fix one toe. So I called Helen's Nail shop early morning asking how much to fix ONE toe and they said $10. I get there and I tell the lady like 3 times I just need to fix one toe. The lady continues to do a full pedicure and remove ALL of my nail polish. Then in the midst of doing a full pedicure that I didnt ask for, she takes a picture of my toe!!! I asked her why she took a picture, she laughed and put her phone away. Once she was done, she charged me $25. I asked them to delete the photo. She said they will and tried to have me leave. I said no I want to see her delete it. Before she deleted the picture, she goes around the shop to show her friends the fckn picturevery unprofessional. I'm very upset with my first experience here. I still paid them their funky a$$ $25 so i left with a wack a$$ pedicure and NO nail polish on my toes. I've been here twice. I decided to check this place out because my sister's go to place don't accept credit card. So I went here because of the good reviews. I came here for regular mani/pedi but I ended up getting gel manicure. Lady was a little persistent and kept asking me to make it gel. Well I guess her persistence paid off because I got it and I actually ended up liking it. My first visit here my nails came out good. My second time it was okay. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I GOT A PEDICURE IN 12 min went with my daughter to spend time together she got the full works as well as me. I was sitting in the chair. I commented on the lady's bracelet because it's one that I've been looking at. Instantly she just said mmmhm. So I just let it go. My feet were soaked 3 min total and she starts. No jets or any type of solution just pure water. Grabs my foot to do my cuticles pushes my foot back in the water and does my other side and I'm like OK maybe she's having a bad day so I'm gonna continue to be nice. Cuts my cuticles we get to the point of the scrub of the feet it was one solid pass through the heels of my feet. Starts painting and I'm getting gel all my toenails look super clumpy. It got to the point where I was already irritated in the chair but not trying to make my daughter feel some type of way so I stayed calm. She put the oil on my feet to massage me, but just threw it on there put her hand from my knee to my ankle as her massage and continued onto the next foot. I mentioned that I used to go there when I was 15 as I brought my 16-year-old daughter in for the same experience I used to get and it's totally different. I went in there to relax. She's burnt me a few times because she used the drill. Did not clean under my toenails or anything I'm more upset because I never treat myself as a mom. And this experience was terrible. I felt really dismissed. It's sad I tried to give my daughter the experience I had at the same age as her and it just not a win on my end. Helen came through for my daughter tho. The lady who gave me service was rude and she literally chipped my nail length without even asking. Before even my service started I showed her the design I wanted and towards end of the service she denied that she can do that for me. I also did spa pedicure too, which had 0 minutes of foot massage B. limited options : My friend wanted to do French menicure. Literally every color she wanted were not available C. I would not recommend this place to anybody. After three weeks I finally got an appointment with Helen. She called me just as I stepped out of the shower, said if I could come in right now, she could do my nails. I rushed and got dressed, hurried up down there, and she put me off on somebody else. And I said no, my appointment was with Helen. Helen said well no, she's just gonna take off, well after the lady removed the polish, she started working on my nails and I said no I don't want you to do my nails. My appointment was with Helen. She rushed me over here. well Helen says well no, I have appointment she can do your nails. I said my appointment was with you I've been waiting for you three weeks I didn't want somebody to do my nails? That's why I've been waiting for you well the lady proceeds to do my nails as if she was a brand new at this I didn't like how much acrylic she put on the nail. There is a lump next to my cuticle. Then they couldn't do the color I wanted make a long story short my nails look like they are press on. They charge me $65. It's been one week one nail already broke, two nails are chipped and all 10 are lifting so I called Helen and she told me to walk in so I walk in and she said she can't help me. That she has an appointment coming. This is Just wrong. I would not recommend this place to anybody. When I started going earlier this year they were pleasant, however if you ask anything about how they are doing YOUR nails, they correct you and then everyone start chattering with the person you asked to do your nails they way you want. I've been having my nails done for over 30 years, before the upcharge special gel era....I only get my hands gel. I paid 100.00 for new set and pedicure on Sunday at 4 pm. She did a great job but I had the feeling it was too many coats. I went to bed about 10 pm and I woke up Monday with most of the polish on my big toes missing and some others messy. I was barefoot for 6 hours before I went to bed, and this is what I woke up to Monday morning I went in when I got a chance Wednesday after work. They were looking at me like I was doing something wrong chattering amongst themselves. I just wanted my toes polished correctly 1 coat , or 2 max The girls said she would do it after she finished with another lady, I said I could come back if she could not fit me in. after about 20 minutes she went to service another lady. I asked her if she was going to be able to and she said "I got appointments." Why did you tell me 20 minutes ago that you would fit me in. Another lady came to me and said, "its because you didn't get gel." I've been getting pedicures over 30 years without gel. She said, "it's because you have to wait an hour for it to dry." I went to bed 6 hours later and this is what I woke up with, on Monday. I work all day and barely made it over there at 6 pm Wednesday. I never write reviews, but this was ridiculous. Came in for a last minute pedicure, told them I'd be okay with anyone doing my nails (in hindsight I should've requested someone specific). Unfortunately as I was getting my pedicure, I felt like there was barely any pressure applied to anything. When my nails were being clipped, none of my feet or toes were really held down? Just kind of freehanded. I didn't want to be picky so I decided to let her continue. Eventually when it got to the painting portion, I can visibly tell that everything was painted messily and out of my nail beds. I was really upset and asked if I could just have my nail color removed and that I would pay for just a colorless pedicure (although I barely got a scrub / massage). Another woman came up and suggested she do my nails instead but at that point I truly just needed to leave. Instead of agreeing she started asked me if I wanted to select a new color and then proceeded to paint my nails my original color, which was very upsetting as I had previously already said no. My suggestions: If this hasn't happened already, I suggest the nail tech practice on some of the employees nails before performing on customer's nails or maybe even ask the customer before doing it. If a customer has repeatedly told you no and has told you what they wanted instead, it would make the customer a lot more comfortable if you respected what they wanted instead of pushing them. I'm sure there are nail techs here who are very good at what they do, but just based on my experience alone, it was not a good time, even though I really wanted to enjoy it. :( read more

I'm going to hype up this salon so much because the quality of their nails and the price they charge is amazing. Lin and Helen are my favorites. Lin pays so much attention to detail with acrylic designs. Helen is quick and just naturally an expert with acrylics. I have been going every month for 7 months now and have never been disappointed by those 2. I pay $40 each time, but they're very kind and will let you come get fixes in between for free if needed. I wanted gel fill and pedicure. Quoted $35.00 gel fill and $25.00 regular pedi. I chose iridescent white regular polish for my toes. She was literally done with my pedi in 15-18 mins. They do a tiny bit, so just basically on your foot to your ankles and then wash it off and put a steam towel in your window ready to polish. And she put on her hands with lotion and she rubbed my legs for about three minutes and that was done. I went to the tables for my gel fill. They were very limited and color for gel in white did not have iridescent to match toes places. They showed me the only white gel we had which was chalkboard white. I had her removing it immediately and have to leave to go find another place to get my nails polished. She still charged me the full $35 for the nails regardless she did not polish them. My pedicure was not up to par. This was a total waste of money. $60 total for nothing I left there went to another place had another pet that would massage my legs totally and my nails polished so I just chocked Helene's place as a learning experience never took back there again. read more
