If you can not find something to eat here then I do not know what to tell you. Usually I go for the pizza and a couple of apps. The Hot Wings are HOT!!!!! The Cheese steak Egg Rolls are delicious. They make their own Mozzarella sticks and the prices are great too. They also have a BEER GARDEN with over 800 beers. Make sure to join their email list to find out about their cool events in the beer garden with Growler deals and visiting brew masters. If you mix and match a 6 pack you get a pint glass for free. I like to sample the different seasonal brews. So if you are in the area make sure to check them out. The decor is a little outdated but hey this spot has been here for over 50 years. I've ordered from them many times over the years. The lasagna and shrimp pizza were really good before Covid, not anymore. The last time the food was so bad that I won't be back. The $ 9.99 chicken parm sandwich was reheated frozen breaded chicken with thin chewey pieces of meat. That was the final straw. I don't like to leave bad reviews for businesses unless I've had mutiple bad experiences. You should be ashamed of yourself for overcharging your customers for bad frozen food! read more

Every time I've come here to eat-in, the servers have been less than friendly. I would definitely come here more often if they were just nicer. My fiancé and I came here for lunch on a Tuesday, not knowing they had an "all you can eat pizza" special for lunch. We ordered a medium pizza and drinks and the server did not tell us about the lunch special. I find that kind of messed up. Went with wife and two kids on Saturday night. We were seated right away and they brought the kids some pizza dough to play with. They have one of ten best beer selections around. They have something for everyone and some hard to find drafts as well. We got the bbq chicken pizza and their version of a meat lovers. The servers are great. The atmosphere is great. It's the best pizza place in town if you have craving for draft beer and cheese pizza. But today after 3 years we got the most wierd hospitality there that nudged me to write this post. Her name was Heather, and since the very beginning she gave us a pretty cold vibe as if asking us to buzz off. I asked her suggestions for IPA to which she responded blandly that she doesn't drink so she doesn't know. Throughout the evening she threw our orders on our face and made us quiet uncomfortable as well as gave a dry dough to my 7 year old, after requesting her so. I never did find the reason for the name of this restaurant.... Went to the takeout area and ordered an Italian Grinder (large 18") Only after ordering, I found out that it would be 20 minutes or more and that the price was higher than I expected. If I had know this at the time I would have gone elsewhere.... BUT, that would have been a big "MISTAKE". Although it was very busy and the auto sliding door was constantly letting in freezing air we suffered though and finally got the grinder! On the first bite ... OMG! - Umami!, Top 10 best bites. I have been to dozens of 3D locations all over the USA, but rarely received the same reaction as Guy Fieri. This used to be our favorite place to order from but lately it has really gone downhill. Two of our last three orders were wrong, and the last pizza we got was horrible. Their Sicilian pizzas used to be fantastic, but this one tasted like it had been frozen and the crust was too hard to eat. Accompanied by a group of friends, we ended up here to finish the night off strong. This is the perfect pizza place for a bite to eat and a beer to go along with it! They had a really vast beer menu, so everyone in my party found something they liked. We ended up ordering a large pizza to share and it was plenty of food for the four of us. The barbecue chicken pie is the way to go, with just the right amount of BBQ sauce, chicken, and cooked onions! We're pretty patient and understanding people, but if you can't remember the order as a waiter, please for the love of God, write it down! I use to live in media for bout 13 years and I loved going to pinocchio's. Well today I was decided to stop and get one of my favorite dishes, coconut shrimp with a side of spaghetti and I couldn't really enjoy my meal due to the 2 dishwashers gawking at me the entire time. I felt highly uncomfortable and spoke to the manager about my dining experience. He apologized. My husband and I have been coming to Pinocchio's for 28 years. Tonight was the first time I ordered the roast beef sandwich platter. It was excellent. A solid pizzeria in a great little town! I usually order out, but in the rare occasion I come in it's a treat. It has the perfect feeling for a town like media. They even provide some dough for the kids to play with. Better than crayons! Their pizza is a solid choice. Just stick with the white or cheese pizzas. The gluten feed isn't very good. The items here are very inexpensive. A slice of pizza is under $5. I sometimes get their chicken Caesar salad, but it is not great. The chicken chunks are small, lack some flavor, but the croutons are unique and crispy. They have the perfect texture in your mouth. A few of my buddies have told me they have some good beers. i have been a costumer for 40+ years. The pizza is consistenly good and the service for inside seating is also good. However, the service for a takeout order is completely the opposite. I ordered two pizzas for takeout and was told it would take 1 hour for pickup. The order took 1 1/2 hours and I had to wait outside for a half hour. The takeout personnel where both extemely rude on both of my last visits and I could hear them making very disparaging comments about the customers wating for there paid orders . I know everyone has strong preferences regarding pizza. Here you will find it thin. Also they do a nice job of keeping pizzas with meat from being too greasy. Quite a few folks say the fried food is above average. I agree. The service is adequate. The wait staff is friendly for sure but sometimes it feels a little slow. It's especially noticeable when the restaurant is only partially full. Note to the owner; you need to work on this! Now for the beer. Oh the beer! This is beer heaven in Media. Ask for the draft list and you'll see about a dozen with nice informative descriptions. They change often and are really unusual. Ninety nine percent of folks will see beers they have never even heard of. If you don't believe me, forget the food on your first visit and try a draft at that tiny bar. Drop me a note here in Yelp. But wait, there's more! Pinocchio's has the Beer Garden. That's their name for their takeout selection. Hundreds and hundreds of choices. Easily the biggest selection in the Western burbs. The pizza is nothing special, but it makes great late night food-- when everything else in the area has closed, Pinocchio's stays open until 1:30am, and that is awesome. They also have take-out beer. They are coming up on their 60th anniversary have a week of specials plan for everyone. On Tuesday May 12th many their prices are going to go back to 60 cents. On Wednesday may 13th its back to the fifties celebration with a DJ from Wmmr are here. On Thursday May 14th is my favorite called give back Thursday. They will donate 15 percent of your bill to one of four media charities. Friday is a family night special for $20 not sure what it is but it sounds interesting. Saturday May 15 is Family fun day they celebrate 60 years with free slices of pizza, live music and tons of fun for everyone 12 to 5. Food was okay, kids liked the dough but the waitress we had went missing halfway through dinner. Having 2 young kids we couldn't spend all night waiting for the check or if we needed anything else. After about 20 minutes waiting for the check I went inside to ask for it. I stood at the counter for about 10 minutes and out of the 20 or more wait staff not even one of them acknowledged me. Even the girl who was actively working the counter boxing up orders completely ignored me.
