This place is always great! It is always crowded but I've rarely had to wait more than a couple minutes for a table. The pizza here is good and I have yet to be disappointed. Last time I was here I got white pizza and an appetizer of loaded fries.There is also a beer garden which tons of beers to choose from!! There is even a large group room if you have a group you can call ahead and reserve it. I'd recommend calling a week or so in advance. Pinocchio's doesn't have the best pizza in the world but it is consistently good regardless of the toppings or style. read more

Five stars for the beer selection alone. Definitely the best you'll find in Delco, in the garden and on tap. The staff is also very knowledgeable and they have pretty decent prices, including weekend deals on pints. The food is also pretty tasty. Your basic pizza joint fair that's a step above most but nowhere near the best. Even so, go there, order a glass of something great, get some broccoli bites or onion rings, a slice or maybe a canoe or stromboli and you won't be disappointed. I enjoy going here when we just want something fast and easy. They are good, not great, but the menu is big and has something for everyone. I enjoy that they have a bar and a bazilion beers to choose from. I also like that they make a lot of things, such as their delicious pasta sauce, from scratch. I'm new to the area and saw their sign advertising new fall beer samplers while passing through town. The waitress seemed confused when I asked for the sampler. Apparently they just give (free) tastes of whatever you want to try. I was quite surprised by their decent locally brewed beer selection. They have some creative pizzas on their menu but nothing too extraordinary. Their menu seemed extensive, but I decided on the garlic shrimp pizza. It was good but not exceptional. The shrimp, ham, and tomatoes were of mediocre quality. The crust was good, but the oil from the toppings and cheese mostly ruined the crispiness. Service was adequate, but I imagine it would have been better if I hadn't gone during a Phillies game! read more

this place is perfect for lunch or to grab a quick bite. my friends and I go here for lunch while at school. I've only had the pizza but it was better than I thought it was going to be. I agree with other reviews though, the only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars was because their service wasn't that great. read more

This is a tough one. I ate so much Pinnochio's growing up, that my bones probably have traces of Pinnochio's pizza in them; in other words, it's hard for me to see this place objectively. Sentimentally, I love it and visit every time I'm back in the Philadelphia area. My personal attachment aside, I still think this place is pretty good. Delivery/carry-out seems to have a consistently high quality, whereas some of the eat-in food I've had can be inconsistent. But seriously, they have an all-you-can-eat pizza deal that's something like $6 for endless soda and pizza, which could only be bad if the pizza were horrendous, which it's not. I WISH there were a place like Pinnochio's near where I live now in Boston. The equivalent places are so much worse (and more expensive), residents of Media, consider yourselves lucky. read more

I was at the beer garden which I was happy to stumble upon. A bit pricey but a great selection. I like to try different beers and they've got 'em all. You can mix your own six packs. I'll be going back for that and while I'm there I may grab a pizza. read more

My overall thoughts of Pinocchio's is that their food is so-so. The prices are very decent, and it's a great place to go with your friends and/or and what not, but I don't care a whole lot about the food. The pizza tastes fairly dry, the wings are both small and taste like their overcooked, and their cheesesteaks really don't have a lot of cheese. That being said, I do have a soft spot for their fries! read more

This was my first time eating here. Great beer selection. We had a BBQ chicken and an extra cheese pizza. The BBQ sauce was great with a nice tang. Could have used a bit more cheese in the extra cheese pie. Overall it was a good meal, huge pies for a good price. read more

Stopped in for dinner...pizza. We were somewhat disappointed. After a 30+ minute wait we were seated in a stale back room I have never even noticed before. Did not seem like air conditioning was working. Nothing worse than trying to eat when hot and/or uncomfortable. That aside, we ordered margaritas which we sent back and got wine instead. The were so sweet they were not drinkable. The waitress was very professional, made no fuss, and brought us a nice glass of wine. Went on to order chips and guac which was tasty. Then ordered a vegetarian pizza. It was just OK, not the pizza experience I remember from here, just not too good. In the past, we have always gotten great pizzas here. The vibe seemed overcrowded/cramped and very hectic, not relaxing. I think the quality is starting to suffer. Avoid the crazy, cramped dinner crowd on Thurs, Fri and sat night-yikes, unless you want to wait a long time or sit at the bar (or the beer garden out back?). Not sure if the buzzers for tables work out there. Still seems like great place to take the kids (pizza dough, kids menu), but for the current prices the food should be just as good as it used to be :(. Waitress was good and professional, as mentioned, but the night we went it was not worth the wait. read more

This is my ultimate favorite pizza place ever! I have wonderful family memories of going here with my grandmom and the whole family. They have the best pizza ever and very yummy cheese fries. No matter what you get the food is always wonderful! I went to the 60th anniversary celebration recently and it was great fun! I will never tire of this place. It's a great place to go with friends and I always recommend it to new people. I just love it so much. read more

This place is excellent. Just randomly found it for lunch. Did not have the beers although they have a great selection of them, looks like I'll have to come back for those. The pretzels appetizer was soft and hot and delicious, and they have this killer horseradish mustard that comes with it we had to buy some to take home it was so excellent, the eggplant parm grinder was done just right lots of cheese and sauce but not too much. And the eggplant was nice and thick. Will have to come back here again when we're in the area. And the waitress was super friendly too. A good find! read more

Pinocchio's is a tough place pin down for a review. On one hand the beer selection is pretty great. On the other hand the place seemed staffed by escaped convicts, just trying to carve out a life for themselves. The food provides nutrients, which is the best I can say on that front. The pizza is usually sub par and I've had two appetizers that were still partially frozen. On the plus side the food usually comes out quickly. There are so many tables packed into this place that half of media could be wiped out if there was a tragic accident. This creates a cramped, loud atmosphere. Keeping with the duality theme of this review, this place is great for kids. Basically I think its Inertia keeping this place around. read more

I love the pizza at Pinocchio's! This is my go-to place for a fun night out with the kids. We order a pitcher of root beer for the little ones, while mom and dad get to order from the extensive beer menu. We order large fries and a jumbo pizza and if we're lucky we have leftovers for lunch the next day. This pizza reminds me of shore pizza---thin crust and so tasty. The people who work at Pinocchio's are extremely friendly and very knowledgeable when it comes to beer. I love that they give out dough to keep the kiddies occupied. Also, a good menu item is the bread pudding (I love bread pudding). We ordered the soft pretzels before, but were disappointed and the complimentary bread sticks are pretty bland---could use a tangy sauce, or just skip them, because I'll be filling up on pie. read more

I was there for dinner and again the pizza was great. I have to admit I have only eaten in for the pizza from Pinnochio's, never done take out. There is something to be said about eating a hot pizza 1 minute out of the oven. Tonight was great and the thinner crust was to my liking. I also got the wings in buffalo sauce, and we asked for mild but they were still a bit spicy. I didn't mind but my party did. They were a bit on the small side but home made and good. Really Quick: Food: Very good pizza and typical pizza restaurant items (wings, calzones, anything fried, etc.) Their pizza is sometimes undercooked, though. Lots and lots of beer options. Bottles can get expensive, but they often have decent specials/features on draft (or even bottles from "featured" breweries). Service varies from very good to extremely poor, with some servers giving the impression they're doing you a favor every time they choose to stop at your table. Parking is atrocious but if you're willing park a bit away and walk, it's not a big deal. read more

Pinocchios is always a great place to go to whether with a friend or with kids. The food is always hot and very tasty. All you can eat pizza specials...need I say more? The staff is awesome and friendly. This place is quick too. Whenever you call on the phone to place an order or do so online, it is always only a 10-15 minute wait. Not sure what the buzz is about this place. I have neighbors who swore to me this was the best pizza I ever tasted. I doubted it seriously as there is no good pizza south of North Jersey, but I tried it. Awful is all I can say... and more awful than the regularly awful Philly style pizza. The sauce was way too acidic. I think they tried to compesate with sugar, but it just tasted like sweetened sauce made from rotten tomatos. The topping look like reheated frozen nuggets of meat someone found in the back of a freezer that hadn't been cleaned out in over a year. We have done delivery and each time it seems to get worse. Our last deliver not only was the food boarderline ineatible, but the pizza was delivered with all the cheese piled into the corner due to the driver taking some turns a little too sharply or tilting the box on its side... Either way, that was the last we will order from them for sure. On the positive side... they did earn 1 star for being fast. read more

A few months ago I would've written a stellar review pertaining to the Beer Garden, I can no longer recommend going.... There are plenty of places around that serve great beers that would appreciate regulars that happen to spend upwards of 100 to 200 per week... Not the case here... Certain staff members send a vibe that they are annoyed that you are there AGAIN... Media I love you and look forward to spending time at another fine establishment! I give no stars... We order and eat-in here a lot. Their beer selection is very good, for one, so there is a plus. On every occasion I have ordered a personal sized pizza, it has been a thin, soggy, uncooked mess...but every time I order something OTHER than pizza (Pretzel roll sandwich, cheese steaks, etc), it's pretty good. Probably the best beer selection in DELCO outside of UNO's in Newtown Square. Otherwise, standard pizza joint fare. Pizza's are hot, fresh, cheesy, saucy and tasty. The entire staff is really nice. I'd give it 5 stars but the fact that it's a family restaurant and tough to go in for a beer and a slice holds me back. Check out the beer store in the back, OUTSTANDING selection and the guys back there are very knowledgeable. I'm drinking an IPA from there as I type. read more
