Draft list is great for a pizza place named after a puppet.
Brian C.

Been back to Pinocchio's several times since my original review and am so happy to upgrade them to 5 stars! I've had the pizza multiple times and it's really tasty. I have not tried ordering it well done but have been very happy with the way they prepare it. The wings are still banging and the blue cheese dressing some of the best I've ever had. On my most recent trips I tried their jumbo burger and farm salad. The burger was big and delicious, clearly a house made patty from fresh ground beef. And the salad was fantastic with toasted almonds, goat cheese, grilled chicken, bacon, and croutons. I went with their house dressing which is some type of vinaigrette and loved it. Free parking, great food, and great service. The outdoor seating area is very popular in the summer months, and they also have a nice little bar inside if you want to watch a game.

Curly fries

Best Curly Fries no debate . With attached Beer Garden awesome 2 punch combo. Have not had a bad meal there. Great elevation of choices. Pizza Stromboli sandwiches salads also very kid friendly . No other place is handing a ball of dough out . Works like a charm.

Always great Pizza No matter what you order, it comes out fast and hot. Nice atmosphere .

Their beer selection is magnificent. Their pizza, however, leaves a lot to be desired. If you go, then go for the beer garden. They have a ton of cool and somewhat rare stuff on tap. If you're hungry do not get the pizza. I repeat, do not get the pizza! It is literally tasteless. So bland, and both tastes and feels like eating cardboard. Even my toddler son who is obsessed with any and all pizza wouldn't eat it. If they stepped up their food game this would be an A+ establishment. I don't know if I've ever been more disappointed in a pizza!

Greek Goddess Pizza
Emily F.

Pretty solid food and solid service that was an overall crowd pleaser. Loved getting to sit outside! We got the Greek goddess and the plain pie as well as sweet potato fries and were pleased with how reasonably priced things were. Can't say any of the food was particularly award-winning (though we did really enjoy the Greek pizza) but the staff was friendly. I have heard great things about the beer selection.

Mark Y.

Food is mediocre and pricing is on the high side given portion size. Management is aware of some necessary changes

Once again, I was impressed! The appetizers were great, the wings were some of the best prepared I've had outside of Texas. Tender, juicy and just enough spice. The pizza...the dough used for the crust was perfect, sauce was sturdy but not overpowering and all the toppings were excellent. The cheesesteak was delicious on the pizza. Great beer and great service, I'm glad I got to stop in while I was in town!

I was in the area and heard about the beer selection and had to stop in! I have heard the mixed reviews on pizza so I went with my beer choice and Stromboli! The beer choices was great and I sampled a Russian River that I hadn't had before that was really good that made the visit worthwhile! The service, food and beer were pretty good! I would return to try more beers and sample more food!

They won't deliver 3 miles away. This place obviously is doing so great it doesn't need business. Double decker is better anyway.

We were semi-self service in the restaurant because it was only 1 person working in the front. I felt really bad for him. He took sometime to order and brought the food out. Nevertheless the food was good. The mussels were flavorful. The sauce was white-wine base. Very unique. It came with the garlic bread on the side. I highly recommend to try. The wings are tender and juicy inside, good texture, not dry. Many tables and seats inside. Bathroom is ok. Street parking. Overall a good place to watch sports and get rowdy with tasty food.

Tap 24 was the one that had dining area right in front of the entrance with huge large glass window, so we were able to enjoy the beautiful summer day while dining. The dining space was not as big as regular restaurants, few tables in front for larger groups and smaller ones were further inside across the bar. The bar huge though where most people hung out. They also had a game viewing area in the back. But though out the place there were several TVs that had the game on. The menu had plenty of popular American style dishes. I got to try the chicken wings and mussels for appetizers. Both were excellent. My friends loved their sandwiches and salmon dishes as well. All the dishes were served within a short wait time. The bartender was serving our table as well. He did really good job. We had a wonderful time hanging out with everyone while dining and watching the game.

Perfect for meeting friends having a gathering we're just having dinner on a business trip. There's an above average beer offering as well as a full bar. I chose to have an old-fashioned with my meal. There's a large selection of shareable's and I chose the crab dip and it was nicely done. There's five or six flatbread pizzas to choose from a nice offering of salads as well as sandwiches, and four entrées, consisting of mac & cheese, fish and chips, muscles, pork cutlet. I always enjoy Reuben so I took their twist of a Reuben cheesesteak on a pretzel hoagie, which was nice and soft and a fun twist on a Reuben. If you're local, I think it's a great location to meet friends and have a beer after work if you're traveling like myself it's a great option versus the standard national brands.

Located by the train stop and bustling central retail hub of Swarthmore and surrounded by street names of pretentious Ivy League schools, Ship Bottom provides a refuge with table and bar seating inside (some leather couches too) and an array of seating and fire pits outside over pebbles out back. With food trucks, live music, TVs, and an excellent pizza shop across the street, you can enjoy entertainment, a football game, and good food along with beer or even cocktails. For beer, they have an excellent year round IPA - Shack IPA - named after a lost building on LBI. It is West Coast style, generously hopped, and very drinkable. Swell Dorado double IPA is a bit more powerful, and the hazy IPAs are lighter and less hoppy. In addition to the excellent Off Season Sour, seasonal beers like the Imperial Pumpkin and stouts provide great variety. Ship Bottom's hard seltzers are incredible and light on calories. They have 8-10 flavors and mix the flavors by order. Try the Spicy Banana and Prickly Pear! When in Philly, this should be your first brewery or where you want to finish a weekend night in the summer or a crisp fall day. Cheers!

I'm grateful that Sterling Pig has the taste and integrity to serve real potato French fries. I've stopped buying fries most places because it's all reconstituted junk anymore, but Sterling Pig's are legit. Thank you! Pulled pork is well rendered with expected flavor and is just simple and satisfying as it should be; grilled meat. No hint of a water bath or any of the cockamamie things some cooks can do to pork meat. Not super smokey but it doesn't need to be, and it doesn't need sauce either which means it's good meat to eat alone. Brisket had all the desired flavor but loads of fat. I don't like paying for gristle and fat when I pay by the pound. Otherwise, they are one of the few places up here who can get flavor right. Big Bad Wolf in Aston used to make great burnt ends with delicious flavor but quality waned last time I tried it.
