Went here early in the morning to beat the crowd. Took my family here while they were visiting Vegas. They absolutely loved it! I obviously wasn't able to try out all of the food on their menu but everything I had tasted pretty good to me. I find that a lot of Filipino restaurants lack that home-made taste and comfort feeling but this place came close to fulfilling that. It's nice to be able to pick and choose what you want to eat and have as much as you want without worrying the bill piling up especially when you have your family with you. The place is very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

My boyfriend and I had a long week of travel and flew back into Vegas around midnight. The next morning we woke up starvingggg. We knew we wanted something savory and filling - nothing sweet, no easy drive thru breakfasts. When I suggested a good old Filipino breakfast, he knew exactly where to go. Pinoy1968 is a lil mom and pop shop that focuses on their offerings rather than aesthetic. We came here for breakfast, but ended up staying just a little longer for lunch as well. This is buffet style meal that essentially puts out breakfast, lunch, and dinner all at once. We had so many dishes to choose from. Not only that, they just kept bringing out fresh new dishes. When someone whips out the garlic rice and sisig after you've already had 3 plates, you better unbutton your pants and make some room. They even brought out the gulaman and cantaloupe drinks that you spoon into specialty blue cups - $2 extra for unlimited gulaman goodness. YUM. While it's not my dad's or other family members' recipes, eating at Pinoy1968 was like a warm hug in the form of a home cooked meal. Can't beat that.

Went here for my birthday lunch & it was delicious! The place is very clean & so was the buffet area. There is a lady who is constantly wiping the area around the buffet to keep it clean. This is my first time eating some of the Filipino food & discovered that it's a great to try new food items! Yum!

Better food, but unethical pricing We visited this restaurant looking for a new "go-to" Filipino buffet after 'Kusina ni Lorraine' has become garbage over the years. While the food was an improvement over our previous spot--despite being very pork-heavy--the business practices ensure we will not return. The checkout process is intentionally misleading: 1) Mandatory Gratuity: A 20% tip was forced without the option to adjust. 2) Double-Dipping: The tip was calculated on the total after sales tax. 3) Hidden Fees: An undisclosed 3% credit card surcharge was added to the bill. (see photo) The cashier's hesitation to hand over the receipt suggested she was well aware of how these "junk fees" look to a customer. We intended to be regulars here, BUT sadly, this experiece is more than enough reason for us not to return. EVER.

Pinoy 1968 the place must visit and try. Buffet for $17.99 worth it Our first time to try this buffet joint- a hidden gem in its class, quite neighborly and far from the main hub of the strip and busy areas. We travelled a bit of a distance but worth it. Filipino Foods are tasty and hot. Love the Lechon kawali, sisig, pancit, lumpia ( fried spring rolls), sinigang, fried fish, tocino, longganisa, Tuyo, etc. They rotate the spread and you'll have your fill unlimited. Place is clean from the buffet line, kitchen and dining areas and well maintained. Staff are friendly and helpful. Worth a visit or treat for out of town guests. Recommendable and a must try when you're in the area.

Maybe I need a film crew and call in advance to let them know I was coming!? The amount of hype this place got on social media hahaha brah. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone that's not in the area. It's not worth the journey. But if you live near by sure go ahead there aren't much buffets in the area let alone any Filipino buffet. Brought the family to celebrate a birthday. Came here some time between lunch and 5 pm which they closed. Plenty of time to experience Pinoy 1968. There was maybe 2 other groups there eating which also included maybe the owners and staff. It was very hot and very uncomfortable inside. I could handle the heat but it felt not normal. AC was probably broken. They never say anything about the heat and was not offered any discount or anything for it being so hot inside. At least tell diners oh hey sorry ac is broke before start eating and offer a free cold drink. It's not a huge buffet with about 16 items served a decent size. From what I heard they have different items each day. The food was not fresh and felt like its been sitting. Old crusty items were mixed in to seem like item were fresh. The noddles. About half the items were basically scaping the bottom of the pan and empty or near empty. Not filled the whole time we were there. It's like they stopped cooking or something. They had plenty of time to make something. We stayed over an hour trying to make the most of it. They have lechon kawali on the buffet which normally most Filipino buffets don't offer or do with extra charge. That's a plus but it was not crispy and was sitting. Dinuguan and mungo beans was good enough. Can sit all day long and be good. There was 2 pans of longanisa sausages. They had Lumpia Shanghai, prefer regular lumpia but ate a bunch. It was sitting and nothing new came out. Could've ate the whole pan to see if they'd refill it. The halo halo was nice and refreshing at the moment cause it was hot inside but it was your basic halo halo nothing stood out. Paid extra for it. There was no warm welcome feeling except for being hot. No customer service. You served yourself it was a buffet. No one took dirty plate or refilled waters. Basically only took our money at the end. And to bring the halo halo out. Bad day!? Won't be back. There's other Filipino food options in the valley. Gave em a 2 star at first cause it's Filipino but gotta be fair.

Been seeing this place featured in IG and YouTube, $17.99 per person. I'd rather have this than any fast food joint! Cashier was nice enough to take the time to explain the buffet. I stuck with the sisig, pork belly and the fried crispy fish chips! I couldn't stop eating those! Ohhhh... and the garlic rice!! The vinegar on each table, Mmmmm, Mmmm good! I was on rapid fire. My friend was in awe of me eating 3 plates before he finished even one!

Nice little Filipino buffet spot. And the staff are very hospitable. Betty helped us and was really nice and took the time to answer all the questions we had. A quaint place with seating inside as well as outdoor seating. We went for lunch and there was plenty of available tables to choose from. Also plenty of parking outside. The food is really good. They have a pretty good variety and they maintain and update the food thoroughly. Just a note that the restroom is outside so you need to ask for the key. AYCE drinks available for an extra charge but its really worth it. I went for the sago and gulaman. We were also treated to leche flan. Delicious! Well worth it!

So the hours have been very inconsistent in the past, but I have learned to just call ahead and see if they're open or not... We went to the buffet, and wow if you want great options for Filipino food, this is where you should go!! The buffet price was reasonable, but they also offer take out as an option as well, and some desserts and baked goods a la carte as well (dessert was not included in buffet, had to purchase goods separately if you wanted any). There is a fantastic variety of soups, meats, seafoods, fried rice, etc. the menu does change, so if you want something specifically, it would be best to call ahead or just go there and see what is on the menu. There's plenty of parking, and the seating area in the restaurant is small, but we enjoyed the food very much, and will be back!

It's our first time at Pinoy 1968 Buffet & Restaurant. My dad saw it on Yelp and YouTube. He wanted to try it out when we visit Las Vegas. We are so glad we had buffet lunch here at Pinoy 1968. The food here is delicious and made fresh. If you're looking for Filipino soul food, this is the place. My dad called first to check if we need reservations. He also asked if we can bring a certain food for our child who has food allergies. No reservations needed and it was definitely ok for us to bring a sandwich for our child with food allergies. The ladies at Pinoy 1968 are all very sweet, friendly, accommodating and truthful. They exceeded excellent customer service standards. Betty was awesome and very kind. Thank you Betty. They even gave us leche flan for free as our to go. We can't wait to tell all our family, friends and social circles about Pinoy 1968 Buffet & Restaurant. The restaurant is very easy to find. You can see the huge sign from miles away. It's nice because it's private and has its own parking lot. Plenty of parking spots to choose from. Once you come inside there are many booth like seating it's also very clean and welcoming. To your right is the buffet area with a variety of traditional Filipino food like sinigang, sisig, longanisa, garlic fried rice, lechon kawali and many more. To your left they have a good selection of drinks which includes the Filipino drink gulaman at sago. The drinks are also unlimited. They offer pineapple juice and four seasons juice as well. Their sinigang is perfect with just the right amount of sour. Lechon kawali is crisp to perfection. The lechon sisig, very flavorful and plenty of meat not just fat. These are only a few of the delicious food items they serve as they have others. Not to mention the longanisa and tocino, it's so good. The gulaman at sago is mixed to perfection. It's not too sweet and has plenty of gulaman and sago. Definitely not overpowering the other. We definitely enjoyed Pinoy 1968 and prefer this buffet restaurant over Nanay Gloria's. Will be back to Pinoy 1968 in early August with some family. We can't wait.

And I'm not even a picky eater. Do yourself a favor: even cheapest Golden Corral is better than this. I usually don't complain about restaurants because everyone has different tastes, but you can feel the GREED here. Extremely limited food choices, everything made from the cheapest ingredients possible. Nothing here tastes like effort, care, or even basic seasoning. The worst part -- something I've never seen at any buffet -- is their unbelievably stupid setup. All the food is locked behind a glass case, and you have to stand in line and ask the staff to serve you every single time you want anything. It's slow, inconvenient, and you can't choose your own portions. You either choke down all they give you or deal with the awkwardness of leaving food behind. It honestly feels like they designed it this way so you'd be too embarrassed to go back for asking for more food. It's manipulative, it's cheap, and it ruins the entire experience. For around $30 per person, you have so many better buffet options in Las Vegas/ Henderson with far superior, premium food and more diverse option. And if you're thinking of coming here to "try authentic Mexican cuisine," please don't. This is an embarrassment to authentic Mexican food. I'm easygoing, I've eaten Mexican food everywhere, and my husband is Mexican -- if I say this is terrible, believe me, it's terrible. I don't know what the trick they do to get people's reviews with such good rating. I've never strongly hated a restaurant before, but this one earned it. If you don't understand why, go try it -- you'll end up just as frustrated as I was.
