I usually never write reviews for places at all even if I have a bad experience. But this place is something else. I don't reccomend coming here if you are a new bowler or have family especially kids bowling with you. The bowling alleys look vintage and cool but the staff is what makes this experience terrible. Def fan of thier Soy Veggie Burgers!! If you want a good Soy Veggie Patty, this is the place in the valley. Believe me i have tried many but non compare to whatever they are using. It looks just like a burger patty that my brother was freaking out and was like, "Whats that?!?!" I said, "I know looks real right?" They char it to perfection, and they use a kaiser type roll, which just goes hand in hand. Its a big portion it fills me up as Im half way thru. Shoestring fries or waffle fries, crisp with every bite. ($5 w/fries) Beer on tap: SAMUEL ADAMS ($5)! woop! and shiner bock($4), bud, and BL. 24 oz cups. Thier menu offers other items which I havent tried, but my meateater friends have. My Brother said the burgers were good, and he'd go back for the food. His g/f couldnt finish hers. The hotdogs are served in a lonche bun with bacon if you please. They have nachos, lonches, which the baretender tells me he loves the food as well. Laid back atmosphere. Can get busy but there is a bar/grill attached that serves decent food and good drinks. They have several TVs to watch sports while you wait for a lane or just want to catch a game. Poole tables and video games as well. read more

I don't bowl, but let me tell you about the food here. We are 7 miles from Mexico and now I come here, yep a bowling alley, for my tacos. They are some of the best I have ever had. Then today the GM introduced me to the fajita nachos, and now I'm mad at him because I don't know which to get when I come in to eat. But seriously I can't vouch for the rest of the menu, but the items above are fantastic. And the GM (Juan) and the bartender (Jay) are some of the nicest people I have met. Drove over from Harlingen and found business hard to get to from 83 west bound. Upon arrival the place was pretty dead. Was immediately told we would not be allowed to bowl because a large group was coming in an hour and a half. Even after advising the gentlemen out game wouldn't last long because we were there for 2 small children to bowl we were not allowed to use one of the very few lanes they have. Place is too small and management is rude. Stay away. Go to Creaseys Bowl in Harlingen. read more

ok IDK about soy burgers there weren't any on menu and the waittress says they don't serve them. The burgers sucked, but the hotdogs and chicken tenders were ok. The place is nice and roomy, private party area, has video games, a prize counter for kids, bumpers for kids and they do serve cold beer, and decent mixed drinks... but the big minus? only 12 lanes and boy was it pricey! Close to 8 bucks for chicken strips? Burger was over 7 bucks and they lacked in drink specials. So eat before you go and expect to wait for a lane. read more

Came to this place which was a little overpriced but does look amazing. Asked for kid bumpers and they said it's either we all bowl with them or don't.....not much fun for the kids in our group bowling with no bumpers. For a new bowling ally you would be expecting this......now we have to stay here since they would not provide a refund. Very under staffed ... poor service ... only 2 servers and 1 cashier working on a Sunday.... I guess it has to do with the poor management as well... Manager was just sitting in his office while the only employees he has are running around like chickens with out heads... even at the redemption center we where waiting for 15 minutes for someone to help out our kids Choose their prizes... I even asked a server for help and she said she didn't know how to work at redemption center lol so we just left our tickets on top of the show case and left .... well don't recommend for those reasons read more

They seem to always be short staffed. Food is overpriced which did not surprise me. I did not like that if one person needed bumpers for bowling everyone else has to use it too. It is a fun place to go to every once in a while because it does get really packed. I went on a Thursday night and they did have a special going on so the food and bowling overall was no more than $30 for 5 adults and 1 child. read more

The first time we went (with friends) we were given watered down mixed drinks and when I tried to talk to the bartender he walked away from me and refused to talk. The second time we went (shame on us) my brothers over paid for the games and we ended up only allowed to play one game. We ended up leaving upset once again. Will not be going back. read more

Pins and Cues is a very nice bowling alley in the Rio Grande Valley. It also has a mini game room that has some cool games to play. Me and my fiancee' had so much fun on our date at this particular establishment. read more

The service there is horrible. Bartenders are the worst. They have drink special menus on all the tables and when we ordered drinks they told is that they are not specials and won't serve them to us. The bowling was fun but we can do that at flamingo with better expectations. read more
