For the first time while living in this house, I slept with an outside door open. When I woke up this morning, I did a quick Yelp search for AC service in my neighborhood. Quan Air was the the highest rated and all the reviews pointed out their professionalism. I emailed from the website, then called. I know that's a lot for 7:30 am, but it's humid in SATX and I couldn't stand feeling awful for another night or two. Amber called me back a few minutes later and managed to get us on the schedule today. Andy showed up about 20 minutes earlier than the window, but I'm fine with it because it's 82° with 72% humidity at 11 am. Andy pointed out some maintenance things, this is my first air conditioner. It was helpful to learn all the things to do that will save us money and keep our AC running. He also replaced a motor, rinsed our AC vents, and checked the condensation pans in the attic. He helped me install the replacement filters I found in my closet. Thanks a million for saving us from the humidity.

The owner was so understanding, and even hoped all was well with why I was calling and trying to reach someone else. I never forgot this little bit of kindness, and now, they are our go-to for all AC services. They have helped us when no one else would by having techs come out to at least evaluate the problem. Then, the techs are so friendly, they even advise you on the dos and don'ts of your AC to make it last longer. We used John Wayne on a whim once, and I ended up running them out of our house. Not only did JW not cover the right sink and drainage yuck went ALL OVER our hall bathroom, but JW also told us we needed a new unit! Interestingly, Clear Springs told us the complete opposite, and wants to help our unit last. It's hard to find an honest company that seems to care about people. The owner of this company showed me early on that people matter, not just customers. They are responsive, and follow-through with what they say. I had my 13+ year old HVAC finally die on me about a month ago during the 100°+ sweltering days. I called them and within 2 hours the technician came out to diagnose the problem, discovered it was time to replace the system, but temporarily fixed it until we could agree on price, model & install date. 2 weeks later, the city permit was pulled, they had their electrician & plumber out, and the entire system was replaced. Exactly on time, as expected & friendly. Professionals to be the service provider. Alberto Gomez, the service technician provided the service and told us that because this was a home warranty repair he had to just replace the part that failed and told us he was not sure how long it would last since this is an old system and not all parts are available. Shortly after the repair, the unit failed again so Alberto with Best Tex A.C. Professionals came out again and was unable to repair the unit. Alberto tirelessly worked with our home warranty company to get approval to replace the outside unit. His efforts paid off and we were approved for a new unit! Denise, the office manager provided outstanding communications providing fast replies to our questions and follow up on any task that needed to be completed. Once the new unit was available for pick up, Alberto schedule the installation date with us. To be honest, it is central Texas in the middle of the summer and we would have scheduled the installation at night if that would have helped. To be proactive and reduce time on the install date, Alberto came out on Sunday afternoon to complete some pre-work. This REALLY expedited the installation the following day. On the day of install Alberto arrived August 30 promptly as scheduled and began the install which included the outside unit and the inside unit. Once the install was completed he cleaned up ALL of the installation debris, boxes, and trash that was created during the installation. We are very happy with the results of Alberto's work, impressed with his high level of customer service, and thankful he worked hard to get the installation completed quickly and efficiently. He send CHW a list of what was need. I paid my portion to CHW so the parts could be ordered. When we hadn't heard anything from them in a week, I called ChW again. After paying a bit more, they ordered the parts. When they arrived, they had not ordered the correct Evap coil. CHW was trying to tell him it was his mistake. We're now 4 weeks without AC with family coming in. Terry went a bought the correct coil with his money in order to get up up and running. After everything was fine, he finally got paid for the correct coil. He keep me informed every step of the way and worked me into his schedule to get the job done in time for.
