have been here several times and never had an issue. yesterday our server jenna for bowling was incredibly rude and unprofessional, brought out her manager and said we were being very disrespectful because she thought my friends id was fake. we never even spoke to her about the issue she just sent the manager over and we were treated very poorly. we ended up asking for a refund for vip bowling we had paid because we did not want to stay there after being treated this way. horrible service from jenna, another dark skin tall girl, and the manager ( can't tell if it was a man or woman.) treat your guests better and if you're going to believe your staff over your guest, make sure they are actually right. will not be coming back. read more

I was excited to try this new place by my house that opened a few months ago. My review is centered around the arcade, I have not tried the bowling or food. I loaded up a card with around $50 or so for the games to try. The games all feel like extremely bad value overall if you are after tickets. They are pretty pricey and the yield is very low. I don't know if management is cheap and turn skill way up or clear reset games nightly. Played quite a few coin pushers and the yield for $50 worth of credits was 200 tickets only for me. Thats pathetic, I didn't even bother looking to see what that would even get you ticket wise. When I looked at the claw machines for the tickets they all showed very low value. Dave and busters blows it away value wise. It seems like its just setup to extract as much $ as possible with the least rewards. read more

The atmosphere is fun for games but I'd definitely recommend against eating here. The service is some of the worst I've experienced. The host wasn't at the stand so the bartender was irritated she had to leave her conversation to seat and bring us menus. She was condescending, never asked for our drink order or anything else and walked away. We waited at least another 15 min for someone to even ask if we'd been helped then were told the waiter was taking a while in the restroom. The crazy thing is in that whole place with lots of employees walking around holding pizzas in their hands and chatting, not a single other person was able to help us. Then, once the other bartender who was there the entire time came around to take our order, he was rude and condescending as well. We finally walked out at this point. read more

All the Pinstack locations in San Antonio are full with arcades and machines plus the rockclimbing and sky trails. The location near the rim recently opened and I wanted to check it out. This place did not disappoint, the staff is very friendly and helpful getting us started on the bumper cars, which was the kids favorite thing to do. The bar staff is on the ball to get drinks for all ages. I really wanted to try out the bowling alley inside but, will have to save it for the next time we come. This location would be cool for a birthday party since it has it all for both kids and adults. read more

Customer service was poor. We had a party there and were rushed out of the room, food was insufficient and they wouldn't let us order more food until out of the room, the additional food was sent to the wrong room, we had to get our own water at the bar, they were short staffed...etc. Nightmare. read more

Fun spot for kids and adults.. the food is good and the drinks are nice... you won't get out without spending some coin on the game are (but it's still lots of fun ) it gets pretty packed on The Weekends. I would say I think the bowling lanes are really fun but I think it's expensive ...you pay by the hour for the lane ..and then extra for the shoes of course. They do wait on you at the lane and that's nice.. the vip area for bowling is just extra lights in the lanes and definitely quicker services at the lane for food and drinks. Shoes take about 4 or 5 bucks each to rent and the lane is about 27 buck for one hour .. thats in the Evening ...during the day it's less expensive and I think they my have some deals so prepare before you go and ask about specials they may have... oh and also last time we went they told us to keep our soda drink cup because is free refills if you already have it. The sneaky,s don't always tell you that.. :-). Enjoy we did but ouch the bill did sting a little. Lol read more

I have been to the pinstack at the rim at least 5 times since it's opened. Every single time we've only visited the arcade area and have had a blast there with the family. This last thursday my friends and i decided to check out the bowling alley's. Firstly we waited 15 minutes to be helped by Leam, the gentleman working the shoe area, and while we waited clearly in front of the desk wanting to book a lane he continued talking to his co worker while customers waited his help. That was strike one. We left and decided to check out the arcade and went back to the bowling alley to try again. This time we made sure to be right in his view so he couldn't pretend he didn't see us waiting. He helped us gave us our shoes and our bowling lane. However one of my friends shoes didn't fit so we went back to the desk to swap them out. The same gentleman was there talking to his coworker again pretending he didn't see us. We had called him over and he ignored us. There were 5 workers not in uniform with name tags(assuming maybe they were managers) all chit chatting in a circle not even 5 feet away from us, and we still waited another 15 minutes to get help. That was strike two. That was until my friend decided to raise her voice just enough to be heard not too loud to be disruptive just to obtain ANY workers attention. That put us off but we weren't going to let it affect the rest of our night. We continued to play and were sharing the lanes with a very friendly couple who we made small talk with and chit chatted every now and then with them. When halfway through our game a manager comes up and says "hey guys i'm a manager here just checking to see if you were doing okay" i responded with yes all good, but he didn't even bother looking my way and that's when i noticed he was only looking at the couple next to us who happened to be a white couple. They looked shocked and confused as well considering they didn't ask for a manager nor complained about anything. Mind you my friends and i were ALL girls in our 20's making no noise, or bringing any attention to us- so why he thought we were bother them is beyond me. That's when it hit my friends and i that it was probably about us. That was strike 3. Honestly i really loved this arcade and we have thrown birthday parties here but after the treatment we received I don't think i'll ever be coming back. I'm not one to complain or make a fuss, but this just rubbed me the wrong way and it's not acceptable for a whole establishment to behave so disrespectful. Pinstack at the rim do better, and learn from the arcade side because the bowling alley area is filled with nonsense. read more

Horrible service from beginning to end. First of all we get there and put ourselves down for bowling and they get our phone number wrong so when they were trying to call us it wasn't us so then they skipped us and made us wait longer. Second we get to our lane and after the first throw it breaks down and we have to sit there for 20 minutes for a whole new lane. After that we start playing but don't get attended by the server for another 15 minutes. We order our food (pizza, fries and wings) they then take about 30 minutes to come out but we only receive the pizza and cold fries. We had to ask two workers about our missing wings. After we get them, they come out freezing cold and we tell the server after a while. Right after that's happening our new lanes break down and then no one comes to even try to fix them. After the first experience it just kept on getting worse and worse. read more

We have come here many times and we were under the impression that the VIP bowling lanes were 21 and up after 8pm, however, this was not the case and the VIP was filled with kids. The food was okay and the drinks were good. Will debate on coming again. read more

Food was great, building was clean and all the games worked we went on a Tuesday so the games were half price!
