It's my first time here. I made reservations for 7:30 pm for dinner for 6 for my husband's 40th birthday. I walked in at 7:31 pm. Gave them my name and the hostess looked like she didn't really know what to do. Then she said ok after a man came over told her something. She said your table is getting ready 5-10 mins. Well over 30 mins later. No table and all they said was "the people sitting at your table are still there". I saw 10 people get seated before us. We left and it ruined my night as this was our first time here and we had family from out of town. I will not be back and I will tell anyone I can, not to visit this establishment. read more

The food was mediocre at best. Service was not up to par as the wait staff required more training not knowing their wines and appeared to be new. Ambiance was better than the food and the service. We had a reservation for 7:00 PM and were basically forced to leave after finishing our meal. When we ordered desert and coffee the waiter said they did not have any desert and that the kitchen was closed at 8:05 PM When we spoke to the MOD and complained, he bowed his hear and basically said nothing. We were not aware that the restaurant was closing at 8:30 when we made our reservation the day before. And were made us feel like we were given the bums rush. No apologies, no comp desert on our next visit, silence and a slam of the door behind us. We went across the parking lot to Stone Werks for dessert and coffee and were greeted with open arms. We have tried almost all of the Italian restaurants in the area and always come back to Aldino's as a go-to. The new GM, Leo, is an excellent addition to the restaurant, improving both the quality and the presentation of the dishes. Service has improved also! read more

This was our first time at Aldino's and I was impressed. It has a very nice atmosphere with traditional Italian decor. Our service was top notch and they were very attentive. They don't have a huge menu , but a good enough variety that you should be able to find something you would like. We had the tomato bruschetta as an appetizer and was very good. I opted for the Caprese di Buffalo salad as a starter and the cheese was nice and creamy although I would have preferred a Balsamic drizzle than just the pesto sauces. I tried the Chicken Parmigiana and it was one of the best I've had in awhile! The chicken was moist and not overcooked like in so many other places. The angel pasta had the prefect balance of butter and Parmesan. Finally, since it was our first time there we were given a slice of cheesecake which was excellent. I didn't want to stop with just one dessert, who does? So we ordered the Spumoni and I have to say it was fantastic...so good. Give them a try! read more

We chose this place to celebrate Valentine's Day and it did not disappoint! Well actually we came here the weekend before but you get the idea. When we walked in we were greeted by a very nice lady who escorted us to our seats fairly quickly. The ambiance of the restaurant was very nice. A bit loud, but nothing we couldn't handled. Marissa was observes and I must say she was exceptional. We started with the calamari and Stageone Salad. Both had good flavor and was fresh. The calamari paired with an in house spicy marinara sauce made for a great experience. We had a few cocktails as well which added to the experience. The Lamb Shank was tender and bursting with flavor. The Cappellini Con Gamberi was very tasty but would have like the pasta to be a bit more al dente. To summarize- it was a great experience. My complete story is on Google. Tried to have high school club banquet in private room. Was never told about a minimum of $2500 OR 100/KID for a 2-4p reservation despite a call and an in-person visit to discuss menu, options, desserts, etc. When we got it approved and went to book we were told abt this minimum. The kids will not have a banquet at a restaurant at all now bcz it is too late to have a new place approved. The wife and I decided to try Aldino. I had a $100 gift card that was almost 2 years old so we thought, why not get a discounted meal so if it turns out to be subpart, we're not out too much money ? We arrived 5 minutes early than our reservation, but were immediately seated by our surly, teenaged hostess. (I taught high school for 32 years. Teenagers don't scare me!) Our waiter was delightful, (Enzo...all I could think of was, "I stay and help. For your Faddah...for your Faddah...) and was very attentive without being intrusive. Ask for bread service and you get these delicious, light, fluffy rolls with an olive oil and parmesan dipping sauce that I could have made a meal with. My wife and I both got salads that were crisp, fresh and flavorful. The wife ordered lasagna and is a lasagna fanatic. She said it's some of the best she's had in this area. (The waiter told us that the pasta at the restaurant is homemade.) I got the lamb chops special that Enzo said is only available on the weekends, and they were pure perfection. We had cappuccinos and split a decadent, delicious house made tiramisu. So glad we finally decided to give Aldino a chance. Quality food and service is obvious a priority at Aldino. I don't know what it is about Aldino, but it always manages to underwhelm, regardless of the amount of times I have eaten here. I had an appointment to meet some friends for Restaurant Week and, right off the bat, there were issues: Service: the owner or manager was serving as host and when told I was waiting for a couple of friends, I was made to sit at the waiting area until they arrived. Now, this usually is not an issue for me, but I did see others seated at tables until friends arrived. I was the only one waiting! Our waitress was a bit short with us, at times. As an example, we asked for water for someone who was parking and we were informed, it would be served when said friend arrived! What would be the reason for that?! Food: The Restaurant Week selection was ok. I didn't care for the wedge salad dressing and it didn't have enough of the extras. The fish was good, as was the cheesecake. I did think that the fish lacked a bit of flavor. It needed some more of the mango relish to bring out the taste. Price: Now that was worthwhile. The lunch Restaurant Week Menu was $25 dollars, which is pretty reasonable for salad, entree and dessert. Good deal for a full meal, I would say. I can say the complete experience was ok. Did you also see me tell the server right before she brought us the books how I said I'd take care of my mom's meal and the others were separate. and yes he did raise his voice. 100% which is why we were so upset to begin with. I don't care if he's Italian. They talk with their hands. I know this. But he didn't need to raise his voice if he was stressed. once we sat at the new table his demeanor completely changed. So that's how we were thrown off. no he did not politely ask us. no one asked us. he said "you're moving tables" demanding, not even giving us an option Regardless if our party didn't show up later like we expected. because if anyone would have asked us, I wouldn't be writing this review. especially since 2 of us come from hospitality. no one told us before seating us "hey if your party doesn't completely show up, do you mind moving tables?" or "hi ladies, we are gonna wait for the rest of your group before we seat you" this would be a completely different story if there was some courtesy and the fact you're disregarding OUR experience is even worse. there are 4 people who can attest to this entire night. would you like me to ask them to also write and share their experience? and your server giving some attitude about her mistake, I see you also haven't addressed that. If you feel this is fabricated, that's great. But it's our experience. I am not asking for a refund or anything special. I'm stating our experience. Don't yell at your customers Don't seat them unless everyone's there and especially don't tell them to move after you've already given them food. First time here. I was impressed that we sat down very quickly, the tables are set up pretty close to each other. Atmosphere is pretty casual, but more of a kinda dress up place, not too fancy. Plenty of wine, and cocktails. Beer, but only in bottles. Waitress was very quick and was always around. They have a good amount of staff, and they were all helping each other. Staff brought out fresh rolls with the oil and seasoning. Fresh table cloths and clean napkins and forks. We ordered tea, the tea comes in a carafe, with really small glasses. Plates were picked up quickly after we were done eating. I wasn't in the mood for any meat, so I got the Portabella de Orzo, I loved it, but I will have to scrape the cheese of the top, too strong of a flavor for me. Maria had the lasagna, good portion. Very meaty and baked very well. Liz had the shrimp with spaghetti, with a lemon sauce. That was very good, not too lemony. She also had the drink, which was very good. Eric had the veal, very tender, but not my kinda meal. I got to sample a bit of ever ones plate. All in all. Great experience here. I do recommend this restaurant. The Yelp reviews were high, so I wanted to experience it for myself, and it didn't disappoint--if anything, it exceeded my expectations. The venue boasts a beautiful, rich, wedding-hall-like appearance, creating a wonderful dining ambiance. Our waiter was attentive, polite, and welcoming. The food was deliciously well-prepared, with flavors that make you want to return for more. Even the owner stopped by to say hello and ensure we were having a good experience--a nice touch of customer service. Got together with 2 friends to celebrate a birthday on a Wednesday. We've all dined here before and it was a good meeting point. I had a reservation for 3 and had Jaimes as our server. He was welcoming, witty and personable. He didn't rush us into ordering and mentioned he likes people to settle in a bit esp. noticing us catching up and the 3rd party member was just arriving. We ordered waters and perused the menu. I was starving so I ordered the Chicken Piccata lunch special. I asked for extra sauce as I'm a saucy person...literally, LOL! We were served warm bread rolls which had a nice French Bread exterior. When our entrees came, I noticed a generous portion and that there were nice-sized mushroom slices. Usually there's only capers in a lemony sauce but I wasn't complaining! The sauce was nice and yummy. My angel hair pasta was generous and actually the portion size was enough for me to eat leftovers. I don't like to carb load on pasta as I get sluggish & get a carb-crash so I try to portion-control when eating. With that said, the birthday gal wanted us to all share a desert so she chose the Spumoni Ice Cream with Pistachio/Chocolate and Strawberry ice cream. It was also topped with some strawberry slices. We all ordered a coffee to go with it. The ice cream was definitely home made tasting and creamy. It was a nice alternative to Neapolitan Ice Cream with them adding Pistachio instead of Vanilla Ice Cream. Jaimes put a candle on top of the ice cream and we sang Happy Birthday. I had my leftovers boxed up and wanted to take the bread from the table but Jaimes insisted on giving me freshly baked bread prior to leaving. I hadn't found him after we paid our bill so the Manager(?) gave me a small bag with 2 rolls. Thank you! Almost 2.5 hours later, we left. Great service. They take reservations, bonus! Parking is easy, in a shared lot directly in front of the place. The vibe screams opulent italian villa complete with a patio that belongs in tuscany, including statues, awnings, oversized planters and Rustic stone walls. The interior has that cruise ship, italian polish, with faux columns, murals, large windows and Oversized mirrors to improve the view. It's beautiful and transported us to the old world. Complementary Yeast rolls were hot and tasty, oil and sopprino seasoning made everyone happy. I ordered the Trout alla piccata from a special Easter menu. My wife had the minestrone soup and salad capicchichi. The chocolate cake for dessert served 3 people. All the portions were large, flavors were on point. The prices were a little higher due to the special rate menu, but no complaints, our food came fast. Cheers for serving gluten free pasta on request. An update to our truly favorite Italian restaurant. Marjan attended a group event at Aldino, and invited me to join her for dinner after the event. We sat left of the bar, and while Marjan preferred seating on the patio, very windy weather precluded the outdoor option. As usual, the restaurant is filled with diners, the ambience reflecting the good cheer of the guests. David, our waiter, attentive, knowledgeable of the menu, filling our aperitif order of expresso martini and dirty martini. We began with the Aldino meatball appetizer, and followed with the Capellini Con Gamberi. Friends, the offerings were just exceptional, the food served just so satisfying in flavor. This restaurant is one of our favorites, not just for the quality of the culinary offerings, but also for the remarkable service of the staff.
