Came here again with a big group and the lobster pizza was not as good, there were no larger take out containers, I had to get up several times to get what I needed for my family. Had to lower my rating.

A newer establishment, and so fun! I am so happy there is a Pinstripes on the San Fernando valley side :) I have been to many locations, and this one (though not as big as some of the others) is so well laid out with enough seating for dinner guests, but also enough activity for others. I was with my family on the bocce court, there is one lane downstairs and another upstairs. Plenty of screens for games and the menu is vast! Something for everyone and I definitely will be back.

Came here a couple nights ago for a free community event they had and it was SO MUCH FUN. On Friday, they hosted a country line dancing session in the evening that was open to the public. Tammy was such a fun instructor and provided a great beginner lesson. I don't know any other bowling alley that hosts regular free community events like this, and I'm so grateful that Pinstripes is starting to have things like this. Throughout this month, they'll be hosting more free events so make sure to follow them on Eventbrite and their email newsletter.

Quiet + Peaceful night out. Our server Nicole was extremely helpful, patient, nice, & gave some really good recommendations. All the food we ordered was from her recommendations & it tasted delicious. The steak was cooked to my liking & flavored well. The sandwich was delicious, the bread was a perfect warmth & wasn't hard to bite into. We were regularly checked on & I have no complaint whatsoever. We spoke with the manager Allyson who was really nice & made sure our night was going well & that the food was up to our standards. Thank you

We recently we invited to a playdate here with a group of young kids. As you can imagine, that led to some slightly chaotic fun. : ) We went for Happy Hour which I think was 3:00 - 6:00 on week days. (Check to see if Friday is included.) The staff was friendly and helpful as we had to find shoes for 10 kids. FYI, sizes for really small kids are kept in the back. The facility is beautiful and upscale. This would be a great bowling experience for an adult party as well. The food was good too. We got pizzas, wings, calamari, fries and all tasted good. I will definitely go back! Parking is shared with the mall of course. Park on the side closest to the Topanga Social.

Great ambiance! group of 6 came in for birthday bowling and eats! We were allowed to bring in a store purchased cake to help us celebrate and they even refrigerated for us until we were ready for it. Loved the ambience, super casual vibes, but be weary this fun night will set you back some money. Bowling per person is $30 per hour and then the drinks and food account for at least an additional $50 a person extra... I wasn't satisfied with 1 of our 2 bowling lanes as it kept crashing. Management had to restart multiple times but we were not compensated whatsoever for the 30minutes of total game time losses. We also were not given any other lane options for this mishap.... something to really consider here management! all in all, super trendy food was decent! we had a couple pizzas to chose from and wings for our party. The sweet chili wings were amazing! get the extra well done!

Love. Love. Love. It's Wine O'Clock Somewhere. One Dollar Red or White if you have the Blue Pinstripes Bracelet. Our bartender Corinne was super kind and nice! She treated us like Royalty. Amazing sweet! We were promptly seated at a table and the Assistant Manager Daniel Sayer greeted us warmly. Topanga Social threw an event that was super fun, and Pinstripes was serving Mac & Cheese as well Brownies!

I took my son and nephews bowling this afternoon. I have noticed this place the last time I was at the mall and I made a mental note to bring them here. Summer fun bowling at this wonderful facility. Sophia greeted us at the front. She was friendly and helpful. We told her it's our first visit to Pinstripes, she explained to us how it works, what the price is and also the food services offered. Loved that Once at the settee area the waiter approached us and welcomed us. He gave me a menu in case we want to order food. We ordered a pepperoni flatbread, blt sandwich and parmesan fries. All tasted good. The boys had a great time bowling and enjoying the food. We will definitely be back again with our entire family. A great place to spend some family time.

Fun place in a great location. Staff was friendly and the food was better than what one might expect at a bowling alley. This is a fun place and good for groups. Cheeseburger sliders and pizza were good.

My first time dining and bowling here for a friends birthday. Upon entering, I thought the restaurant looked very inviting. Nice layout, quite when I arrived, very clean, and nice open concept. With a decently early dinner reservation, we expected to be served right away with so many open tables. We felt service was extremely slow and we had to ask for everything (silverware, napkins, water, etc). Once we ordered we expected the requested items to be brought to our table in preparation for our food to arrive. Unfortunately not and we had to ask several more times. Once food was served, several dishes were made wrong and had to be sent back. Of the food that came out right, overall consensus was we were content with our orders. Since we had a 9pm bowling reservation on, we had to ask for our bill and pay it quickly. Once we were brought upstairs to the bowling lanes, our 1 hour time limit was started. This was before we had shoes brought to us and while things were still being explained. By the time we had bowling shoes and names in the computer, we only had 45 mins left to bowl. Oh yes, and the pins weren't updating properly so they had to reset the lanes/games. At $30 per person we barely finished 1 game of bowling. Completely not worth it in my opinion. The couches are nice with a good ambiance, but I would not go out of my way to go here again.

I took my five year old son to bowl here on a Saturday at 5:30 pm. I booked the reservation on their website with no problem, but at no point in the process was pricing stated clearly on their website or on their reservation platform. We waited 30 minutes to get two lanes together and the host was very pleasant and hospitable. When we went to pay the host after waiting the 30 minutes, she told us that it was $100/hour per lane. My jaw absolutely dropped and I felt absolutely blindsided. At no point in the process was pricing stated, posted, or communicated. Not on their website, not in the reservation process, nor at the front desk when checking in. I paid the fee and the staff was great. My problem is with the transparency of pricing and the deliberate withholding of "dynamic" pricing. I got home and tried to see where the pricing was on their website. After a lot of digging into their website I managed to find pricing per hour at $80 an hour for Saturday after 3pm. I immediately called and asked to speak to a manager to get some insight about the lack of transparency in pricing and also the difference in what I was charged and what was posted on the website. He was very nice, but stated that they use a third party platform for reservations and that pricing can show up differently on an android or on the East coast and asked me where I was looking at the pricing which is extremely strange. Why would pricing change on a website based on where you are looking at it? He also stated that competitors were "similarly priced". The difference is when you go on a competitor like Lucky Strike, price is clearly stated when you make a reservation so there are no surprises. If I had known it would be $100/hour to take a 5 year old bowling I would have reconsidered if the activity was worth it. I had taken a photo of the pricing before I made the call past 9pm. He asked me to email the pricing as proof to what I was seeing. Again, strange. After I hung up I refreshed the page. I kid you not the pricing went up and changed in the 25 minutes since I had checked the website, I am attaching screenshots as proof. Mind you my reservation was at 5:30pm and from 9:15 pm to 9:35 pm the pricing changed on the website and changed to a higher price 4 hours after I was charged. I have been in hospitality for almost 20 years, I am an executive at a hospitality group for crying out loud. I am very understanding when it comes to challenges in running a business. This felt like deliberate masking of "dynamic" pricing in order to gouge the guest. The staff was great, but I will never return based on this experience. The offer from the manager to "see what they could do if anything" was an effort to placate without action. He didn't even ask for my name or information until I asked him if he needed it. I have not felt the need to write a bad review based on an experience in my entire career until today. I will be letting everyone know in my community to steer clear of this business.

I made a reservation for 7 but the host sat us at separate tables. As soon as we saw this, we requested to seat together. Not sure how a party of 7 is considered separate tables, especially on Mother's Day. We just placed the tables together on our own. I can let that slide although it definitely took us out of the Mother's Day feeling. It was buffet style and every party had a server, except for us. So we had to flag someone to get our drink order. I also asked about the Mimosa and got different answers and prices, even from a manager lol. I'm pretty patient so I get it, it was busy. One of the other managers whom greeted people at the front, was really nice and he was giving flowers to all the mothers. And the young lady who eventually became our server was spot on. She did an awesome job with our table. Most importanly the buffet food was pretty good! Prime rib was tender and flavorful. Lot of different ingredients for the omelette station. And when I did order an omelette it was made perfectly. The smoked salmon was worthy of a second and third plate. The initial experience was less than desired. But the quality of the food, that manager that was handing out flowers, and our server made it worthwhile. I'm glad we stuck it out to experience what Pinstripes should be. I would be willing to try it out again. Maybe a non holiday will be smooth from the get go. Maybe even try some bowling.

The center itself has a retro feel to up, but also updated so as not to feel out of date. They have everything lit with cool lighting inside and all the lanes. They play great music while bowling, we were able to even request songs while we were there for the party. They have a full bar as well as a full kitchen. They also have a large game room, which is a great throw back for me growing up in the 80's. The party planner as well as the Management was super cool and friendly. Made sure we had everything we needed, kept checking on us, refilled the drinks and the food as the night went on and we were even able to bring decorations and our own cake. Which they gave us a sparkler candle to put on top as our regular candles. It was really fun. The party package was a set price of $49.95 per person, which included unlimited pizza, chicken tender, fries and various drinks. Towards the end they brought a giant platter of funnel cake fries with dips, so yummy. It also, came with 2 hours of bowling, shoe rental and $20 in game credits for each person. There are lounge style seats and surf board tables behind the lanes too. I would recommend having a party here or just come and have a get together with people and have a good time. The parking lot seems a bit sketchy though, I would park close to the front, they have a couple security guards here and I thought I saw some people lingering in the lot, so keep you valuables out of your car to prevent anyone from doing anything. Other than that, and it was just a feeling I had, (which I am almost always on point with my feelings) it was a great time and we will for sure be coming back to bowl and hang out. Enjoy!

Then the manager had the nerve to try to read the pricing board in person as if I cannot read it myself. It's not a comprehension issue; it's a "your website is misleading" issue. I showed the manners manager the website showing exactly what it says. On a direct deal it says per game, per person. On the deal I was asking for it only said per game. She didn't care. Said she can't do anything about it. And was low key rude. A simple fix: make it clear on the website what the prices are so people don't drive all the way over there to be told they need to pay $100 for the family.

Hands down, without a doubt, best bowling alley food I've ever had in my existence. I'll start with the pizza because pizza is my favorite food. I was hesitant because I was at a bowling alley and I guess I've never had good food at a bowling alley until now. But when I looked around at all the pizza being served to different tables I just had to try it. I ordered the pepperoni pizza, and honestly it was sublime. I loved it. It was thin, crispy crust, good sauce, good cheese, good pepperoni. I devoured it. This pizza is better than most pizzas. I enjoyed it just as much as I have enjoyed Wildcrust, possibly enjoyed it more. Simply put, Highland Park Bowl makes a great pizza. Also got the calamari. Truly didn't have high expectations, maybe because I was at a bowling alley, but this calamari was shockingly good to me. Way better than expected, and would 100% order it again the next time I'm here. Additionally it was a pretty good sized portion. My wife ordered the burger and fries. She loved it. I tried it. I loved it. Fries were amazing. Would order it again for sure. The ambience is very cool. Had no idea this place has been around for like a century. Loved the vintage feel. So much character. Staff were super friendly. Although I think they may have been short staffed when we went. It seemed like there was only one server taking care of the whole place. She was really nice though and our food came out surprisingly quick. Came at 5:30pm on a Thursday and parked on the street right out front. Street parking is 1hr up until 8pm I believe. It seems like the complaints and positives are pretty consistent and accurate. The bad: The woman working the front reservations desk was notably unfriendly and unwelcoming, with a negative energy right off the bat. She seemed weirdly annoyed at the presence of customers. And this was at the beginning of the day. I can only imagine what it's like at peak evening hours. There's a total of 8 lanes. We were surprised to find there's a strict one hour limit for lanes unless there's no one else waiting. It would have been helpful if they posted this on their website. A countdown started at 30 minutes left and was displayed on the score screen. The really weird part was at about 10 minutes left, our scores disappeared and never came back. We were still able to play but it was not cool that our whole game's scores were just gone. The time limit made us feel very rushed, which was especially awkward because we ordered food and drinks. The good: As many have said, the best thing about Highland Park Bowl is the beautiful vintage interior design and cool history. There's a lot of impressive detailing and it's fun just walking into the space. We thought the food and drinks were pretty good. We got Pesto Genovese and Contadina pizzas, Calamari, and some cocktails. Though I'm glad to have checked it out, unfortunately with the customer service issues, I was left with a negative feeling and would hesitate to come back.
