Wish there was more of it! Had never seen noodles come with rice but would had rather had more salad or noodles personally. Either way it was very good! Their lunch menu has a few selected options that all looked yummy. I saw they had happy hour as well. They do shut down between 3-4 between the lunch and dinner hours. Cute place. Modern decor. I'm a fan of Pinto Thai food, It was so delicious! I came here one evening with my roommate, and was skeptical based on the reviews by my fellow yelpers. We ordered the pad kee mao, albacore tataki, and panang curry. Everything was flavored well, even with the #5 spice level that my roommates and I challenged ourselves to. Everything tasted great, but I did think it was a little weird with the fusion Asian food going on at the restaurant. We also ordered some sapporo beer and hot sake, which you can't go too wrong with. Overall, good ambiance, good service, and tasty food!!! I ordered takeout from Grubhub: fried rice (egg, juicy tomatoes - wish they had more, onions and greens), and yellow curry (potatoes and chicken with onions). The flavors were there in both dishes. We ordered delivery on GrubHub during dinner rush hours on a Saturday night so I was expecting the food to take at LEAST 45 minutes to arrive. I kid you not, 20 minutes after clicking 'Order', my doorbell rings! Food was piping hot, but there's no way they got the order correct that quickly, right? Wrong!!! The order was spot on. Minor detail/tip is that I didn't order a side of rice to go with one of the curries, but that was my bad (don't forget to add that if you want it with your curry!) Now to the good stuff - presentation (particularly for delivery), spice levels (they let you select from 0 (not spicy) to 5 (extremely spicy) when you order), and most importantly deliciousness were all on point!!! Loved their pad Thai! Not a big fan of the salmon sashimi. They got us a nice seat by the window and it was lovely to watch the street. We loved the sake as well. When I first heard of Pinto's fusion cuisine, I thought "Hmm...OK." It wasn't until we we found ourselves looking for a place to eat, one craving sushi and the other Thai, that I realized the genius of the idea. We ordered the Seattle roll, the Deluxe California roll, and the Thai Green Curry. The green curry was delicious and perfectly spiced with a delicate consistency. The dish was fantastic and very full of flavor. I was not really blown away by the sushi though. While the fish was fresh and the rolls were tasty, the pieces were a little bigger than I prefer and sometimes fell apart when I picked them up. I also thought there may have been a tad too much mayo in the California roll. Despite not being the best sushi we've ever eaten, though, it was still good food. This place is great if you order sushi and dine in. But having a 4 year old and 4 month old, I tend to order out these days. For the second time I ordered the steak teriyaki and at a whopping $18 I expect it to be somewhat tasty. The first time I ordered it it came almost raw. I called and they replaced my order which was nice. It's been a couple years and I thought I would give it another try. This time it was about 95% fat and maybe 5% actual steak. It was completely inedible! Immediately after I posted my first review, someone from Pinto Bistro reached out to me to try and make things right. I was impressed that they contacted me and how quickly they did. I've been back twice since then and they have been great.
