We live nearby and occasionally get takeout from Tuk Tuk. The food is consistently delicious! We tend to stick to our favorites, so that includes Panang, curry, crab wonton, & spring rolls. Our orders are always ready as soon as we arrive, and piping hot even when we get home. It's a nice atmosphere, although I don't think we've ever actually dined in. If we had more expendable cash, I'm sure we'd be getting takeout from here at least once a week! Highly recommended! read more

The panang curry (with tofu for me) was maybe the best I have ever had. Love that they allow you to specify if you want GF, Veg, or both with the sauce (omitting soy sauce, fish sauce, or shrimp paste). As a vegetarian I feel comfortable eating there, and didn't taste the fishy taste I have experienced elsewhere. Just bright, fresh, well balanced flavor. I can't stop thinking about how good it was. Came later on a Saturday night, was able to seated right away, and was quickly able to order a satay and the spring rolls. The Satay was as flavorful as to be expected, the peanut sauce being the key. Great char on the chicken. The spring rolls were crispy and yet delicate. Delicious. The side cucumber and onion salad that was pickled was a very nice touch and a good pallet cleanser. Finally the Pad Ginger with extra chicken and brown rice was ordered at a three star spice. Still feeling that spice level. They are not joking about their spice levels. The overall experience was quite good. The place although busy didn't take on a noisy food joint. They have an open bar seating and I personally love watching the cooks put the food together and serve right in front of you. Not your norm for a Thai restaurant. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated for the holidays. Warm and cozy in a cold day...we got chicken satay to start, which was very tasty, can't go wrong with a good peanut sauce! Then my friend got chicken phad thai and I ordered the Thai soup with beef, (only complaint for me was the "mysterious balls" in the soup, I don't know what they were, I took a bite and they had a very strange the texture. Upon further investigation I read that these balls are traditional look chin made from pulverized meat and tendon to give them a "bouncy" firm texture, not appetizing to me but that's just a personal preference. If your into the traditional stuff they do it here ;) All in all the meal was quite good and the service was friendly and fast. I will be back. read more

Unfortunately I did not enjoy my meal at all. The ingredients tasted cheap and seemed thrown together. My food came out to fast as well. Which is a weird complaint. I think that explains why the food wasn't good. If you don't eat much thai it's probably tasty to you. I didn't even like my Miso soup. Its unfortunate. Thai restaurants aren't cheap so I just expect the food to taste pretty good. Not perfect but at least good. read more

I've enjoyed eating here for 2 years. The chicken larb was herbaceous, the pad se ew satisfying with the wide noodles and mixture of Thai style egg and veggies, the soups were the standout. I love how the broths really have a deep and rich flavor. Almost like a Tonkatsu broth but light. I can only describe this textural sensation visually. I can definitely see various Asian influences in the style of cooking and I am always appreciative of an open kitchen in which I can see what is being made and how it's being made. The curries are delicious and maybe it's my own bias, but many taste the same. I'm not sure if it's a premade mix like bubble tea. Some of the home made curries I've tasted like at Wild Ginger are not as thick and starchy tasting. Service is always great. There's a friendly staff person that is kind and funny. I choose Tuk Tuk any day over Pagliacci in Interbay . What I also love is seeing all of the families waiting for food next to the coffee shop. read more

I've been getting Thai food from Tuk Tuk for years, and I feel like something has changed recently and not in a good way. I called in to order a lunch order and was told they no longer include Pad Thai in their lunches and it was now $2 extra for spring rolls with lunch. I changed my order to Pad See Ew and asked for the spring rolls. When I got there the bill was over $30 because they don't include Pad See Ew in their lunch special and the spring rolls were a full order at $8.25. The whole thing was weird. They didn't offer a discount for the misunderstanding so I paid for the Pad See Ew which tasted strange to me. I don't know what's going on but I miss the old Tuk Tuk. read more

Food was excellent! Pad Thai tasted so similar to authentic dishes we've had in Thailand before. They do an excellent job with the crispy tofu, and the plum sauce served with it was amazing! My son and husband loved the crispy wings and crispy garlic chicken. We also got the papaya salad and I was so light and fresh; the sauce was great, it could have been better with a little green onion added, but I really enjoyed it; tasted like what I had on Ko Samui. The sever was friendly, professional, and hospitable. The food came out piping hot and didn't take too long. Their delivery is SUPER fast for us in Queen Anne, and it's free on the ChowNow app. Portions are always generous and there are options for extra noodles, extra protein, etc. The menu has everyone one would expect from a Thai restaurant in the US. The Tom kha with mixed seafood was amazing, and I wish we had gotten two! So soooo good!! Chicken Pad Thai was yummy as well, though I prefer the chicken to taste less grilled (blackened?) as it's a bit overpowering to the sauce. Really though it's nothing to complain about, as many thai spots have the same grilled sort of flavor. Just not my preference and that's ok. Still delectable and high quality. The fresh rolls with prawns were good as well, with warm peanut sauce. A bit looser than I'm used to but I didn't mind the mess it was so good. Large portions considering the somewhat low pricing. Came here after attending the NW Tea Festival today. We hadn't had a bite since 10am and it was about 2pm when arrived here. Cute murals, but interior could be a little better if they hid cases that were in a back room and a odd bucket that was near the counter. We saw crab fried rice on the specials menu that was calling out name. We had it along with the yellow curry with chicken, and started with the crab ragoons. Probably a good thing we ordered the fried rice cause the curry doesn't come with rice. We had both 3 star. Both had great flavor the fried rice a little more spicy than the curry. Crab ragoons came with plumb sauce believe there were six of them in the basket. Lots of protein in the curry also had onions, carrots and sweet potatoes. Husky game was which was nice. It wasn't too crowded, water was cold which I appreciate and cup stayed filled. read more

Average prices and quality for the area. Speedy service. Currently just a walk up window for takeout. We ordered pad thai with chicken, pad see ew with tofu, and pad kee mao with beef. I thought the pad see ew had a little too much molasses flavor, but I liked that the tofu was fried and not just raw tofu dropped in at the last minute. I thought the pad kee mao could have used a little more basil flavor and the beef was a little dried out. The pad thai was good, nothing to complain about but nothing to call home about either. Another Uber Eats night but kept it simple with just chicken yellow curry, which includes rice. Total cost was $17.01 with delivery fee/tip. I selected the lowest amount of spice. Despite that this curry was really spicy. I will admit that I can't tolerate spice that well so maybe it's just my own sensitive palate. Anyway, aside from the spice, the curry was really good. Loved the flavor and consistency. And no issues with the rice either. What I especially liked about this order is that they give you a smaller portion of curry but include the rice (instead of charging you separate). This was the perfect size meal for one and very reasonable. However, I did ding them for not providing utensils/napkins, which seemed a bit cheap. read more

We got 3 entrees for delivery today in this historical hottest day in seattle! Yellow curry - hands down, one of the best yellow curry in seattle. I will be sure to come back here just for this! Pad Lee Mao- very tasty, above average in seattle. Red curry - my mom loved it but I didn't as much cuz of the strong fish sauce taste. So if you don't mind fish sauce as much as I do. I am biased because this place is in walking distance from my apartment, but I believe that also makes me fairly well-educated to speak of how great they are--I probably order from them once a month or so. They make the order very fast and the price is affordable, and the staff are all incredibly nice. I'm also thankful that they try and have some eco-friendly packaging as well. I almost always get the same dishes when I order; I just can't help what I like! Their fresh spring rolls are great, though I wish they would include an herb, and have an option for a non-peanut sauce as well. I also always get the house salad, which is made with fried tofu and added spices. I love their house salad because it's so fresh--the romaine lettuce always looks like it was just picked, and it has cucumbers, carrots, tomato, cabbage, and cilantro as well. They put too much red onion in it for my liking, but I still get it anyways, hahaha. The next dish I always order is the pad kee mao, with beef. I just think the portions are a perfect mixture of fresh veggies, protein, and those delicious wide noodles that almost melt in your mouth. It has a slight smoky flavor from the pan it is made in, which I love, and not too salty. I will say though that THEY MAKE THEIR FOOD THAI SPICY HERE. EVERY. TIME. I generally have a good tolerance of spicy food, but I almost always get a 2/5 here because the 3 level makes me tear up and have to blow my nose, and I usually can't continue after a few bites. The 2 is very spicy, so if you're not confident, stick with less. The only dishes I venture into 3 spicy level is their curries. I have tried every single curry here and they are all great! They even have seasonal or special curries like avocado and pumpkin. I have to admit that there are a couple other places that I love their curry more (Araya's, Thaiku) but Tuk Tuk Thai makes very solid curry. I am always delighted and satisfied with the taste. My favorite is probably the green curry, but I would be happy eating any of them. I am really grateful for this location here and hope they stick around for many more years to come! read more
