White fish crouquesta. So good, I forgot to take a photo when there were 3!

Excellent service with a description of the dish as they serve it, and advice on how to experience it. We loved this tucked away indoor-outdoor restaurant in an alley. I can't believe this is our first time here. We love it! We started with the white fish croquestas and the San Diego Ahi Tuna Crudo. The Crudo is just perfect. The Woodford pizza is excellent. We had the special Nard Corn with homemade lamb sausage... delicious! The Palm Court was also amazing. My daughter enjoyed the Kiss from a Rosso pizza. She doesn't like cheese, so it was perfect for her. We plan to become regulars here.

Stumbled upon this cute courtyard cafe when looking for a place to have dinner. Menu pricing is all inclusive of products and of service, so no tipping required. All products are locally sourced and the service was great. The wine we chose was absolutely delicious, we ended up taking a bottle home with us. Not really quite sure why the dine in pricing was more than double the price to take a bottle home, but maybe I should've asked more questions. Either way, we loved it. We had the white fish croquettes, the salad and a pizza they had on special. I will agree with one of the other reviews I read that the food was a little bit salty. Regardless, I thoroughly enjoyed all of the interesting items we tried and would 100% come back for another visit.

Stopped in for a quick bite while my wife was shopping and I was so happy! Got the hearth bread with salted butter and was blown away. Insanely good and I already want more and will dream about it tonight. Piping hot sourdough bread out of the oven baked to a perfect crust that had nice crispy edges and super soft and chewy on the inside served with plenty of salted butter and although the price at $14 may scare you, it is all inclusive pricing and a nice serving that satisfied my wife (who returned just in time to savor the deliciousness) and I and our desire for a snack. We will definitely be back to try the other baked goods, flatbread and sandwiches. A little hard to find down an alley off a side street, but well worth the effort!

I stumbled across this place by accident the first time and was immediately impressed. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and I grabbed a cold brew and a pretzel to go--both were great. I came back for lunch and had the turkey sandwich along with a Laura Palmer, and everything was excellent. The ingredients tasted fresh and thoughtfully selected, which really came through in the flavor. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Cute little bakery that offers breakfast items, sandwiches, bagels, pizza, wine, and pastries. Prices a bit on the high side, but overall, it's a cute spot and it offers some nice dishes. The Margheritaville pizza: $22 for 6 slices Great sauce and the cheese was very good. A bit on the salty side. Lox Sandwich: $19 ($16 + $3 for veggies) I chose the everything bagel with my lox sandwich. Loved the fresh veggies and dill. The bagel was also a bit too salty and the sandwich could have had more lox (I compare it to Old NY Bagel's lox sandwich and they give a lot!). 2 other people in our party thought the dishes were salty, so it wasn't just me.

Super cute quaint restaurant, love the tile work and glass frog in the place and the frogs playing in the red-lit bathroom, even more. Sourdough pizza that leaves me feeling good afterwards. I've tried a few of their apps, salads and pizzas and everything has been delicious. They have special events every once in a while, which is a treat! Staff is always helpful and attentive and the owner is cool! Great addition to downtown VTA

This.is.my.jam! Ok hear me out, hidden alley entrance off Palm St. opens into a quaint courtyard/ outdoor eating area, keep walking to indoor space smelling like fresh bread... this is an experience. What's not to love? Long line goes quickly plus they have free bread samples while you wait. Food? Fresh, fluffy, full of flavor, very special and made with love. I love the savory Hoagie croissant ( ham/ cheese) and the pesto bread, focaccia and cookies. The bagels are amazing. Also fruit tarts! Highly recommend this delicious bakery/ restaurant. The pricing has tip included so it's a bit more, like European prices.

This is my favorite restaurant in Ventura!! I've been a fan of Pinyon since they were doing pop-ups, before they even opened in Ojai and I was so happy to hear they'd be opening in Ventura. This is the perfect pizza to me - Neapolitan with a California twist, flavorful dough and perfect toppings. The rest of the food is also delicious, they do a great job highlighting the best, most seasonal ingredients. The service fee is now gone, for everyone who was worried about that. Is this the cheapest pizza in Ventura? No. But is it the best? Yes! Absolutely worth it.

Owner is rude as hell. Food is mid and overpriced. Adding in the tip for counter service is insane. Go to back bench for real pizza.

I love their pastries, but the recent price increases do make them a luxury item. Kouign Amann are my fave, but any of their croissants are also great. I haven't really tried their drinks. Had a Hot chocolate at the Camarillo location, and they even had a little latte art in the milk foam. A beautiful space to enjoy, but pricey overall. Service is usually fine, not overly friendly but that is also due to being so busy that they need to move the lines quickly and efficiently. This week's pies were strawberry cream, lemon with meringue, and coconut cream. They were all beautifully decorated and baked to perfection. The coconut cream was my favorite because it had a salty crust that paired well with the sweet coconut. But honestly, they were all so delicious! I will definitely be re-ordering more of these pie slices soon. They were worth every penny.
