Been coming to Arts since I was a kid and we absolutely love it. Completely revamped since then and the food has gotten even better?! Amazing. Micheladas are unmatched and the Arts corner cakes might literally change your life. Service is so friendly and fast. There's always a wait but you always get seated way earlier than you'd expect. The patio is a great place for breakfast or brunch and the bar inside is a killer place to watch sports on the weekend! My favorites are the corner cakes, chilaquiles, cinnamon roll, and breakfast sopes. 1478238/10. Bury me at Arts when I die.

I placed a pick-up order for the sole purpose of trying their cinnamon roll. I had heard so many people rave about this so I had to come and try it for myself. I paid $10.77 for the cinnamon roll and when calling they ask if you want it heated it up or cold. The roll was perfectly warm, nicely layered with icing, and perfectly fluffy. As soon as I took a bite I knew what people raved about. A 10/10 cinnamon roll and I will be back for more!

I can't believe this was my first time trying Art's Corner Cafe . Idk how I've driven by all these years and didn't know they were here but I'm so glad I've finally made it in! I ordered: Norteno is not your average omelette! It's topped with braised short rib, jack cheese, house made guac, fresh pico de gallo and side of their house made green salsa. Served with hashbrowns plus you get a choice of carb and I'm so glad I listened to Stephanie's rec and got their house made biscuit!!!!! I'm (picky with my biscuits and this made me soooo happy!) 5/5 Corner cake was so good . I got half an order cause I was so full. 5/5 Michelada with Pacifico . 5/5 Service was friendly and on point ! Tables and seats were very well kept from what I saw which is always a plus .

I had the day off and was starving after running errands! I decided to sit at the bar and received the best service. Such kind staff. I got my usual - Denver Omelette ( sub bacon ) with sourdough bread and a dune coffee. The portion was huge . I literally had leftovers for two days . I felt like it was never ending! It was busy on a Friday but I feel it usually is. I didn't get corner cakes this time but next time for sure ! I love Art's ... it's color scheme and decor. Prices are reasonable and the quality is amazing !!!

    Big a** mimosas!!!

This place is awesome! Drinks are incredible, food is even better, cinnamon rolls are out of this world. Not too bad of a wait for an incredible experience. Loved sitting on the patio getting to people watch and enjoy the sunshine. Can't wait to come back

Biscuit, ordered at table next me. Looks Good!

Comfortable clean inside, good variety menu selections. Coffee don't taste right....had weird aftertaste. Asked for flavor creamer to mask taste. Chile Verdr generous portion, meat tender, delicious. Asked for Soft scrambled eggs, was hard and dry. Rye toast excellent, w homemade raspberry jam, delicious not overly sweet. I ordered Soft Scrambled Eggs, gave me Hard Dry Eggs. Asked for replacement and it came perfectly soft scrambled, thanks. Not the server's fault. First time coming to Ventura from Los Angeles, Art's Corner came up on yelp search. Glad I came.

We passed by on the weekend and there was a crowd waiting outside. We decided to try again early on Monday morning. Thank goodness, we got a table quickly. This is a quaint restaurant with a very friendly staff. We were first introduced to this lovely cafe last year on a visit to my daughter. We loved the food then, and were happy to make another visit. I had the cinnamon roll last time and again at this visit- to share with the table. I got the corner cakes this time. It was delish! I think I will make my visits here an annual occurrence. I'd like the frequency to be a higher number, however I live 2,500 miles away and an ocean apart.

We brought our grand children and adult children for lunch... And we're pleasantly surprised!! The servers were efficient and very helpful! They worked well together and brought our food even when it was very busy. The restaurant was clean and there were seats available inside and outside. There were booths and table options. The bathrooms were clean as well. We will plan to be back!

Art's is a fantastic and well run diner with very good Mexican food. I've had the famous corner cakes (super tasty, crunchy, and unique) and most recently stopped in for the chicken fried steak. It was legit: crunchy breading, creamy gravy, a nice piece of meat, and perfectly crisp hash browns. Plus, the portion sizes are enormous, but the quality is still top notch. Next time I'm trying the short rib omelet for sure.

Everyone was very friendly. We were greeted with a smile. The front parking lot is small, but plenty of parking in the street. The restaurant was clean. Plenty of seating, however, they were busy I would try to get there earlier next time we go. Great menu. I have to come back for the chilaquiles and the mimosas. The Corner Cake was delicious (so good that my son that "wasn't hungry" ate most of it ) Fun event, great location.

Lovely patio seating made for great ambiance. The service was good. I got the country fried steak and didn't care for it...it didnt have much flavor. I mostly ate the toast that came with amaaaaazing jam/jelly! That stuff was fire! Friend didn't care much for her scramble. The chili verde was every ones favorite but it wasn't hitting the spot. This is a place we would come back for drinks. Huuuuuge mimosas.

Came Saturday morning. While there was a long line, our party of 2 was seated immediately at the bar. The bar only has alcohol, no cold coffees unfortunately. Inside of the cafe is crowded and loud, but gorgeous. All of the staff seem happy to be there and are good at their jobs. Cinnamon roll - loved it! I loved how there were 0 firm parts, it was completely soft throughout. It's not the best cinnamon roll I've had in my life, but it was really good. It's on the lighter side when it comes to flavor, but I enjoyed that bc it doesn't make you feel sluggish . This cinnamon roll was a nice pick-me-up and was made with love! Breakfast burger - very juicy and quality ingredients but the meat itself was bland. Like it wasn't seasoned . Spicy Mexican Benedict- the hollandaise was good, but I'm hesitant to actually call it a hollandaise. It's an entirely new sauce. The chorizo was great. The o'brian potatoes were my favorite part. Overall a solid dish I'm not sure I'd return but I would come back for a takeout order of the cinnamon roll! This place is really nice but I think it would be better for drinks. They have an extensive breakfast cocktail menu and would make a great spot for those looking for some daytime drinks

I came to Art's specifically for their homemade cinnamon roll and it did not disappoint. The inside was oh so ooey gooey and the frosting had that quality homemade consistency - not the sometimes stale flakiness that you get elsewhere. Along with that I got a side of hash browns which wasn't anything special but still a good breakfast staple. Our waitress served us quickly and was very friendly. The inside and outside was super cute like modern diner vibes, and the colors were everything. They have an outdoor seating area which looked nice but it was pretty warm that day so we opted to sit inside. I love a good patio area though so I will definitely take advantage of that next time.

Is this place really closed forever? They said it was closing for good on October 16th? But I keep seeing ppl parked in the parking lot on the weekend....

They have transitioned to the new ownership and are NOT closed at this time. They were closed for 5 days a few weeks ago before the sale was final to allow the staff some well deserved time off. They staff have all been working 6-7 days a week…

I ordered my usual - known as the Caffe Breakfast here ($18). It comes with 2 eggs, your choice of protein (chicken sausage for me), potatoes, and ciabatta. It tasted like a regular ole hotel breakfast. The texture of the chicken sausage was crumbly which I didn't prefer. We also tried an omelette which was better, but not by much. On a more positive note, the line moves fast (esp since you're standing out in the sun).

I thought the tacos would be decent, had a good attitude coming here, but boy, what a nice surprise this place was! Small line in front, you order, pay, go inside, wait for your order at pick up window. Simple! Tables on the pier, and they have a patio facing the ocean, nice view. Picnic tables! They sell wine, beer, margarita-s. Great selection! But the tacos!!! We got 4 between me and my husband to share and sample: Baja Taco (got fried fish) had fresh ingredients, lettuce and a nice lime flavor! Beach House Tacos (got grilled fish), nice pineapple salsa, tender fish, nice sauces and lettuce. Calamari Taco - fried calamari - fresh avocado and cabbage, nice sauce - chipotle. Marilu Taco with popcorn shrimp with nice chile lime crema, not too spicy. Even the fried seafood here is fresh, not very fried, just a tad, nice and crispy, but not greasy. Loved every taco, they are all different than each other, they use fresh ingredients and vegetables, each had a great, original flavor, they don't skimp on anything - seafood or ingredients. By far, some of the best tacos I ever had, they go in my Top 5. 4 Tacos (they are big!) are enough for 2 people. My and my husband we also shared a portion of guac and chips, they reminded us of Mexico. The guac had a lime flavor and well mashed, the tortilla chips are thicker and extra friend. I ordered the carne asada, but apparently the salt shaker took the day off because the meat had absolutely zero seasoning. No salt, no flavor, no redeeming qualities. The punchline?
