Totally disappointed with Pipeline today. A 2 foot long hair in a sandwich. Manager and waitress had attitudes when we complained. Manager said they normally do not comp for hair in food. Admitted it was the prep cooks hair! No apologies, only acted like we were wrong for complaining! Why isn't the prep cook wearing a hair net? Why when they did credit the hairy meal the gratuity amount go up? (We had a table of 10)? Will NOT go back and will be calling health department Monday. Rude Manager!!! read more

Don't count on watching your game here if the owner or employees want to watch what they want. (See my review at the other location too.) If the game you want to watch is on, the OWNER has no problem switching most of the TVs half way through what you are watching to what they want when they are sitting and drinking at the bar. Then he tells you he doesn't care by the liaison aka the M.O.D. No wonder most of the staff has moved to the La Porte location. Arrived at 8:25 PM Ordered, 9:00 an employee came out, didn't identify herself, as a manager or ? and said the they had an to go order of 60 seafood plates and our order will be out shortly. At 9:15 the same employee came out and said our good was coming out, at 9:00, our food arrived at 9:25. By this time 1/2 the customers had left, don't know how many just walked out? No food left the kitchen for 50 + minutes. You would thing the manager whoever it was would comp our drinks or something but nothing. We finally got out at 9:55. First the place is way too noisy. I called in my order, it was incorrect when I arrived. Hostess who greeted us at the door very kind but the girl who took the order in the first place was very rude and insisted I told her wrong over the phone. You have to give credit to the owners, the name is an obvious ode to their key demographic, aka The Pipeliners, which are abundant in this area. The atmosphere is very bar/pub. The service was good and the interior was your typical bar look. I had the jambalaya balls and a brick house oven pizza. The pizza is a hand tossed style FYI. My husband and I decided to try pipeline grill in Baytown for the first time since we love the one in La Porte. We went on a Sunday after church, arrived and no one greeted us when we walked in. There was staff putting on makeup in the back and some more staff sitting at the bar. We waited for about 5 minutes to be seated. They were not busy at all and finally we were seated by this gentleman who came from the back (They had one table and one customer at the bar, this is how busy they were.) Once we were seated, we waited for someone to come to our table for about 10 minutes, my husband went to the RR came back and still had not been greeted by our server. We got up and walked out. When we walked out the hostess thanked us for coming in. The service is beyond horrible! If you're in the mood for Pipeline, the one is La Porte is worth the drive. read more

It was okay. I had a Swiss mushroom burger & onion rings. My husband had a bacon cheddar (looked like processed "cheese") burger and fries. The onion rings were fabulous! They were thin, and the coating was crisp and spicy! The fries looked frozen, my husband wasn't impressed. The burger was okay. We are fans of Ricky's, but wanted to give Pipeline a try. Our server was very attentive, the music was good (so glad it wasn't country), it was clean, and bright. I wasn't impressed enough with the food to want to go back. This place from the outside did not look much, but when you get inside it was a totally different atmosphere, the place was packed, which only means that they must be doing something right... Anyways, I liked this place, I had been there once but I had a very good experience. Food was good, I had the grilled mahi mahi with a side of broccoli and jambalaya rice... They were perfect, the spice of the rice complemented the rather neutral flavor of the broccoli and the fish just had enough seasoning that it wasn't overpowering, moreover I liked it because it was not dry. They have a good amount of serving and the waitresses were quick in anticipating our need. And on top of all this they have a full bar which is always a plus... I've been there twice and ordered the Greek salad both times. Both times they don't bring my food until the others at the table are almost finished eating and both times I am brought a Cesar salad and have to send it back. The hostess sat us down and quickly walked away and sat at a table with what seemed to be her "friends" not employees. We ordered drinks, my husband ordered a beer off of the table drink menu and the waitress had no idea what he was talking about she came to the table about 4 different times with the wrong drink! Was excited to try this place as Baytown doesn't have much to offer. Experience went from not bad to disappointing. We just had some beers on tap and apps. Service was very slow considering there was a lot of staff. One problem was our waitress had us and her other tables were on the other side of the restaurant. What kind of sense does that make? We sat and watched our beers getting warm before we asked another server to get them for us. The food was ok. Like I said we just ordered apps. Warning: they don't clean their shrimp well. Had a lot of gritty bites. When our waitress brought our check back she just dropped it off without any eye contact or thanks for coming. I dont know about you but that left a bad taste in my mouth. I went here to have a nice night with my family, which started out ok. However my cousin went in to the ladies restroom and had a man look over the stall at her while using the restroom. The employees as well as the manager pretty much walked hand in hand with the man as if he didn't do anything wrong, because he was a regular. That was absolutely unacceptable for the man and for the manager to practically blow it off. Just imagine if that was you in that situation. Very good food and the service was exceptional! Got there and the waitress asked for our drink order and appetizer order...before we had even decided what we wanted off the menu our drinks and fried pickles(oh so yummy and so fresh tasting) were on the table. She then took our order and then I went to wash my hands(I'm a germ freak)(restrooms were very clean BTW) and by the time I came out..my salad was waiting for me...our food arrived before I even finished my salad...I ordered the CFS and sweet potato fries which BTW were super good too! Our girls ordered the 16"(I think, it was the biggest one)pepperoni pizza and it looked so good that I actually stopped eating me CFS to eat a couple slices.
