I was really nervous to get a tooth implant, but Dr.Jimmy Dang made the procedure as smooth as it could possibly be. Both Dr. John and Jimmy Dang are very professional and experienced, they're attentive to detail and bring a lot of energy to the room. Also the ladies at the front are super nice! I'm still in process of it all, but so far the bone grafting and abutment implant procedures have been quite successful. I have never felt more welcome at dental office until I arrive to Broadway Dental. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Booking an appointment was easy. The purpose of my visit was for a chipped a tooth from a SOFTBALL incident... Yes you heard it correctly, softball! Dr. John and Jimmy Dang preformed thorough testings to assure there were no damages. I never felt rushed as they repaired my tooth and preformed a much needed deep cleaning on my teeth.. They were both very informative and educated me on my messed up teeth. I've been coming here to Broadway Dental for as long as i can remember. I've always had a great experience here. Recently the Dang brothers took over as the new owners. At first i was hesitant due to how young they looked. But dont let their young age fool you! You may think due to their age (or their appearance of looking young) that they lack experience, however the Dang brothers have extensive experience and unlike many other seasoned dentists they have kept up with the technology in dentistry. For example I longer need to make an appointment with a 360 degree xray specialist, because the Dang brothers brought this tech into the office! They do it right then and there! Saves me from taking time off from work to just get a full 360 xray. Huge plus in my book! I've done two tooth extractions with Dr. Dang and got the areas prepped for two dental implants. And just two weeks ago I got the two implants done. I couldnt have been more happy and satisfied with the work! Minimal pain, minimal bleeding and super fast recovery! I expected the experience to be much worse but because of the excellent work done by Dr. Dang this experience was simply put AMAZING! Also, they took customer service to the next level! After both the tooth extraction procedure and the implant procedure, Dr. Dang TEXT ME CHECKING UP ON ME MAKING SURE IM DOING WELL! Who does that? I am a long time patient of Broadway Dental. When Dr. Sadeghi sold her practice, I was at a loss on where to go for my dental care. When an implant that was done over a year ago began to hurt, I didn't know who to turn to. I decided to go back to Broadway Dental, since they would have my dental records. Making the appointment was a breeze. The office staff is great. They scheduled me with Dr. Jimmy Dang. He came in, assessed the problem, cleaned my teeth (which I didn't expect... bonus!), and gave me a shot of antibiotic in my gum area to eliminate an infection that was brewing. Dentist has always been everyone's fear, but this will change the way you see a Dentist! My visit was painless and awesome. Coming out with a confident smile and a good smelling breath! Atmosphere: The office was clean and tidy. That's a big health part. I would not want to have a doctor work on me when they don't sanitize their tools and have a messy patient room. I've been looking for a reliable dentist since I've switched insurances with HMO. It's a struggle to find dental clinics that would do same day services -- diagnostics and cleaning. Broadway Dental was able to do both unlike most other congested offices. This was a HUGE plus for me! There are also some offices where they try to upsell you on unneccessary services and just weren't honest at all. Broadway Dental knows exactly what you need. Cue Broadway Dental- it had the best reviews of them all, did a bit of digging and it also seems like the practice was handed off to two new dentists, Dr. John and Jimmy Dang. The reviews were recent and positive and I was cautiously optimistic. Made my appointment through email, got scheduled for the next week (try scheduling AM appointments less wait time) and went in today! Clean front desk, looks modern, the staff was very friendly and kind. In fact, Dr. Dang personally called me as a new patient and asked if I had any concerns, that alone was unbelievable and earned them instant kudo points. I was in and out in 2 hours. Had a cleaning done, x-rays, checkup and 1 cavity filled. Dr. Dang was busy even though it was AM but he still made sure to give me one-on-one time. It's highly appreciated, and that attention goes a long way. Yes, there's recommendations, like removing wisdom teeth or getting Invisalign, but that's part of the business. Do your research, if you don't need it then don't get it, but if it seems like that's something you need/want then do it. I have never been a fan of the dentist and try to avoid going at all costs. After not having a Cleaning in a few years due to being pregnant and having 2 kids under 2, I knew it was time. I had a cleaning last month and three fillings replaced - the staff is very friendly and polite; Dr. Dang is professional, efficient and took the time to answer my questions. I found this dental provider via Yelp after my old dental office forced me to get a 2nd opinion regarding a deep cleaning laser procedure that they wanted to do, which isn't covered by my insurance. Dr. Dang's staff did the same examination and determined that I did not need the deep cleaning, but instead showed me that my old fillings were in need of attention. That level of honesty, professionalism and expertise has earned them a five star review, and my business. I went to my old dentist regularly for over 20 years, but after they were bought out they became much more commercial and focused on selling me stuff; I even noticed that my last hygienist sometimes seemed to be reciting a sales script instead of actually talking to me like a normal person. About as pleasant as a trip to the dentist could go! So, f*** wisdom teeth, amirite? I scheduled a last minute consultation to get my wisdom tooth looked at - I was desperate to get it out. It was my first time to a dentist in this country and I didn't have health insurance, but they were really accommodating nonetheless. Consultation was efficient and everyone was super friendly. Clinic was extremely clean. They managed to schedule in an extraction almost instantly, and I was on my way home within the hour. I was a bit nervous cause it was only local anesthesia so the time came they X-ray me saw the diagnosis of the teeth and boom numbed me up and then butcher came lol as soon as i knew both wisdom were out we were done. 25 -30 mins tops smoothest dental visit I've ever had as I'm writing this in no pain just soreness . I made an appointment several weeks ago. The day before the appointment I received a call from them. They were canceling my appointment because they no longer take Cigna DHMO. I consider this the height of rudeness. My prior dentist switched to PPO and gave 2 months' notice. I was able to go in for teeth cleaning before she was no longer available. They notified me when it was too late in the month to switch to another dentist. I now have to wait until January 2021! Dr Dang chipped my tooth when he was drilling my wisdom tooth out. I called to see if there was anything he can do and wanted to make sure I wasn't being charged for a mistake that he did and all he said was (Not sure yet, I would need to see it.) in a rude tone. When I had called the first time to let him know about my chipped tooth, he knew EXACTLY which one I was talking about which makes me wonder so you knew you chipped my tooth and didn't do anything about it? First of all I have the biggest phobia with Dentist office and Dentist. Maybe got my phobia from going to Military Dentist they weren't good at children. After many years I finally decided to take the plunge & get all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted. I decided to go to Broadway dental after seeing the wonderful care they provided for my husband during his wisdom teeth extraction & implants. I suffer from anxiety but felt a sense of relief after speaking with Dr.Dang. He walked me through the whole procedure and answered all my question (& I had a ton) During my procedure they numbed me up & got rid of all 4 teeth like it was nothing! It was about time that I went in for an exam and cleaning but because I am new to LA, I am picky about my providers. Also, I knew I had some impacted wisdom teeth that had to be removed. Luckily, I found Dr. Dang's office and it happened to be walking distance from my place. I went in for a consultation and cleaning on the same day. It was quick and painless! I came back for my wisdom teeth removal that same week and was super anxious. I had 3 teeth that needed to be removed. However, Dr. Dang and his staff were phenomenal, they talked me through every step. I was completely numb for the procedure and barely felt a thing! Before I left, Dr. Dang gave me a sheet of post op instructions and went through it with me. Even after the anesthesia wore off, I felt minimal to no pain. I couldn't believe that I didn't feel much discomfort. All my friends had told me their experiences and theirs were much different than mine. Dr. Dang has kept in touch with me everyday to see if I had any questions, concerns, and asked about my pain. This is the first time I've ever had a provider pay close attention to their patients, so I'd definitely say he's an awesome dental provider. 1 week post op, swelling has gone down completely, no pain!
