I got the inspection done today and the experience was great. Jay, one of the owners, welcomed me to the shop, very friendly. I sat in the waiting area after they started the inspection. There was another customer there and we started chatting. He couldn't praise the guys there enough. This other customer and I started lamenting how a lot of businesses don't provide the same customer experience we were use to from when we were younger (yes, bunch of old guys lamenting the world is going to...) and he said J&J is one of the exceptions. Jay showed me some additional concerns on my car...brake and tire wear. He showed me the problem areas and said I have some time left but these expenses are coming down the pike. It was refreshing to see this sales approach...I was aware he was upselling the other services they offer and I was totally happy with that...that's what all businesses must do. It was the approach, education, and showing me why the repairs would be needed that convinced me that when I need the work to be done, I will go to Jay and his team. Well done guys and keep it up! PS: they have the cutest wall of kids pictures that puts a smile on your face.

Went in with my husband on a Friday. Set it up with Joby for them to order and install truck…read moreairbags and spray the bed liner. They told us to drop it off for two days the following week. Scheduled for Thurs-Fri. We paid them a $500 deposit at that time to order the airbags. Before drop off already getting phone calls to go over again what was needed to be sprayed even though the sales man and another employee who does the spraying came out to the truck on day one and we went over everything. We drop the truck off Wednesday night. Thursday got a call from the service manager asking me again what I wanted sprayed and also that my truck was not scheduled to be there and that they were "accommodating me the best they could". They told me on Thursday that they didn't have the airbags and they thought they might come in Friday. Bottom line about this, in my opinion, they never ordered the airbags on day one like they said. Personal opinion here as well the staff dead not sympathetic to the issues and offered no assistance in resolving this, in any way. They spoke to me like my time meant nothing, like i didn't drive over an hour out of my way for this. And that now I am going elsewhere for the airbags. After all of this the following day I called a local competitor who was very sympathetic and apologized that I had to go through that. They told me that they would be "more than happy to pick up where HTT left off". That they could have the airbags guaranteed within two days just like HTT had said. That's why I'm sure they did not order the airbags on the Friday I came in. A competitor can get it in two days but HTT it's over a week? Doesn't add up. Also... a bit sloppy on the bed liner. I had to explain several times what I needed done. Step surfaces and interior bed. See photos. Over spray, touch up brush work that doesn't look good, paint where it shouldn't be. Over scuffed my diamond aluminum plate. I told the sales man Joby that i had an 11ft body but because of the thru box it was only an 8ft bed, but when he quoted me I was still quoted for an 11ft bed plus extra gallons to spray the bumper. And when I brought this up at the payment time they ended up billing me for an 11ft bed no extra gallons. I assume this was the more expensive rate vs 8ft bed with a couple gallons. HTT lacks any empathy for customers time, money, and even getting repeat business because I for one am never coming back nor anyone else from my company. -judging by the other reviews I've read on this and other sites seems like the company/owner does not care at all in the moment but is ready to comment and try to save face in reviews after the customer is long gone. Do not be fooled.

Yes, I'm a genius. We're from Illinois and pulled in HP Auto at 4:30 needing help securing the bent awning so we could drive home. I was at his mercy. In about 45 minutes he got it all secured. This is the good part; he could have charged me $450-$500. That's about what I expected. but no, he thought about it and charged me $89. Mike, you saved the day for me! You're a Saint! I was looking for a place to bring my mercury grand marquis, Close by to me where I live in…read moretillson. I see that this shop was only about 10 minutes away. In fact I had passed it many times over the years. On the way to Stone Ridge. I called up and the lady who answered the phone was very friendly. She asked for all my information. She did ask for my license plate number. Then she was able to look up the year and make and model of the car. I was impressed by that. They seem to be very thorough right away. I told her I needed them to look at the front tires because there was a A vibration from the front tires and some noise coming from the front tire also. I had brought it to a shop down in Rockland County to put on new tires after I got a blowout. I came in and they pull the car into the shop area. One of the employees Kevin introduced himself. He offered me some coffee and showed me in the area where they had a couple of comfortable seats donuts potato chips and some other snacks Soon after they pulled in the car they called me back to take a look at it. Nick the head mechanic had the car up on the lift. He told me that the other shop didn't balance the wheels at all or did them in properly in the front. He also told me that the shop lied when they said that the sensor from the tire had fallen off the front tire and they glued it back on. In fact they broke the sensor when they were doing something with one of the front tires. Instead of cleaning out the tire they left all the junk inside the tire So Nick cleaned it out and balanced the tires .Then another employee took the car for a test drive to make sure everything was OK. I was definitely pleased with thoroughness of the work. The car was coming up on needing to get transmission fluid changed and also the other fluids. Brake fluid Power steering fluid etc. New fuel filter. I made an appointment and brought the car back. Since I live only about 10 minutes away they said they were able to drive me home. Then when the car was done called me and picked me up again. Nick the head mechanic and owner is very knowledgeable and really gave me some good tips on what I should get done and not get done on the car. For example they said that the rotors were warping a little bit, but the brake pads were still good,said to not doing anything yet. I'm sure other shops would've told me, to do the brake pads and rotors. I definitely had a fantastic experience bringing my car here. Nick Kevin and another technician I talked to really know their stuff. Very knowledgeable professional thorough. The prices are very fair as well. Actually lower than I expected them to be. I definitely highly recommend this shop for all your car needs
