The best empanadas we've ever had in our lives!
Robert M.

The food here is outstanding. We had the ceviche table side prepared and it is absolutely delicious Hamachi fish. The paella was outstanding with only two exceptions. There were two whole tiny little scallops in that entire pan, and two mussels. A lot of the shelves were just there for looks. The paella was $60 and our bill for the ceviche, empanadas and paella was $178 with one drink. So on the expensive side but they make everything fresh in the house. The inside of this restaurant is absolutely stunning though so you gotta pay for something!

Best Food in Lake Nona! Amazing food, incredible atmosphere, and we had the Jhoa who was the best server!

Came here on a date night randomly and I'm so happy we ended up here because everything about this experience was amazing. The food was incredible, the drinks were to die for, the service was intentional and on point & the restaurant itself is gorgeous. I had their version of a New York Sour with Merlot foam. So yummy I couldn't just have one. I also had a risotto with shrimp and prawns and as a started we had table side ceviche. The ceviche was so fresh and flavorful and they were so informative as they made the ceviche table side. For desert the Lucuma tiramisu was a must try for us. Would recommend over and over again.

This is such a fun and hip place with great service and even better food. Highly recommend the ceviche!!!

Wow!!! This place was amazing!! It was a first time visit for us, and this restaurant is located in a well-lit shopping strip on Narcoossee, just a few minutes from the 528. This place was a vibe, so much so that we are actually supposed to go to a neighboring restaurant last night; however after driving past this place, we had to change our plans. The food was exceptional. Between my wife and I, we split 1 entree and shared an appetizer. My wife isn't very adventurous when it comes to eating but for whatever reason caved in when the server suggested their octopus as an appetizer. That appetizer was super unique!! It was basically this extremely thin octopus swimming in this very delicate layer of ceviche, with an accompanying side of wantons. For our entree we ordered the Rissoto with braised beef. This was most excellent with a very flavorful 8-hour slow cooked beef with a sweet flavor, whose flavors were contrasted by the very amazing rissoto. I initially ordered a Coke, but ended up trying their Peruvian crème soda which was maybe the best crème soda I'd ever tried! My wife ordered a sweet rum that was red and had this awesome smoke bubble on it as it was presented to the table. Our server, Gabriela (Gabi) was very friendly and most assistive and patient as we asked a few more questions than normal as we'd never tried Peruvian food before. She was pretty attentive to our table and remained kind and professional. We were so happy last night after our dinner that we went ahead and booked our daughter's 18th birthday dinner here for early March when we'll bring 18 of our relatives from out of town back here to enjoy what we did last night. Great great find!! Cannot wait to go back!

First let me say I visited this spot twice in one week because of how much I loved it. My first visit was a group of six reservation. We were seated quickly once everyone arrived. I arrived early and sat at the bar. Let me say I'm so impressed by their crafted cocktails. The bartenders are the nicest people and made great recommendations. The cocktail she suggested after talking to me briefly, was perfect. Once we were seated, while a tiny thing, the toast corn to snack on was lovely--almost addicting. Our group ordered multiple small plates. I'm not a ceviche person, but I'm happy I tried it. The tuna tartare was great. When I went back later that week, it was just to sit at the bar with a friend to have drinks. If you go before 6pm, it's not too crowded yet. It's perfectly themed and decorated. I think this is surprising because it's smack dab in the middle of a business plaza, but they designed it in a way to make it feel otherwise.

The vibes at Pisco Peruvian are always on point. Gorgeous spot whether you're at the bar, a table, or a booth. I've been here many times and can't believe this is my first review! Drinks during happy hour, lunch, or dinner are always a win & the espresso martini is great! First time trying the duck and it was so good, I even took some home. The shrimp salad? Spectacular (I may be biased, I love salads & shrimp). Service is always attentive and friendly. A bit pricey, but always worth it.

This place was SUCH a vibe!! It was super festive with loud, upbeat music. It was a little difficult to hear/talk but we still had a great time. The cocktails and mocktails were good - a little on the pricey side but tasty. For an appetizer we ordered the king crab taquenos and I would definitely recommend - they were SO good. For an entree I ordered the short rib risotto based off the waitress's recommendation and it did not disappoint! It was incredible. For dessert we ordered the passionfruit which was really tasty as well although I want to go back again and try the tres leches style dessert next time. This was a great experience and the food was really good - it's a bit on the pricey side. Dinner came out to about $200 for 2 cocktails, 1 mocktail, 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, and 1 dessert. Will definitely go back, just probably not a regular spot for us given the cost.

This restaurant is a whole vibe! We came here because it's relatively close to the airport and we discovered it on OpenTable. There's plenty of parking outside where the restaurant is located. We came when they were having a special on sushi, which means that we ordered extra sushi. The rice was a highlight. All of the food was amazing. The cocktails were imaginative (and a little pricey). You get what you pay for. They kept our waters refilled and took care to explain the menu to us. We are glad to have found this gem of a restaurant and I look forward to my next visit.

This was my first time trying pisco, and it was a great experience! The restaurant had plenty of seating, and the décor was elegant with beautiful touches reminiscent of Peru. The mixed ceviche was delicious! The juice was thick and creamy, and the seafood tasted fresh. The pisco sour had a perfect balance of tart and sweet with just the right amount of foam. The steak was slightly undercooked but still flavorful, well-seasoned, and very juicy. The pasta was okay, but I'd probably skip it next time. Our server was lovely, refilling our waters, offering recommendations, and explaining several dishes on the menu. Parking is shared with other businesses in the same plaza, but we didn't have much trouble finding a spot on a Tuesday night. I'd definitely come back to try their happy hour specials!

Solid 4 stars. It was my first time eating here and it wasn't what I was expecting! I was expecting overly salted food but everything that we ordered was seasoned pretty well. The stand out items were the empanadas and the ceviche. The empanada filling not minched mushy meat. Rather it was actual diced meat in a gravy mixture which gave it great texture! The broth the ceviche was in was... *chef's kiss!* I would definitely come back again to try other items.

Love the atmosphere. Food and drinks are always unique and tasty. Service is quick and friendly. The TEXTURAS DE CHOCOLATE is amazing. I rarely eat dessert, but this one was worth the calories. Great textures and amazing flavors.

Every year for my birthday, I try to find a place or restaurant that not only appeases to me aesthetically, but that also has culinary excellence, shows attention and care to detail, and that was this place. I came here along with my family and I was able to secure a reservation for a party of 6. Our waiter was so friendly and suggested the best drinks as well as guided us since we were experiencing magical dining here. The first thing I had was TO DIE FOR!! I ordered the Tuna Tartare, not only was this so fresh, but it came with the perfect complement of the shrimp rice crackers. The combination was killer and opened my palette for what was to come. I wanted to highlight their amazing Ceviche clásico, it was the catch of the day, soaked in leche de Tigre, with a charred Sweet potato, and corn nuts. The flavors were like nothing i've ever tasted before. It makes me really delighted to see and literally taste the creative skill, and passion that goes into each dish & drink! Bravo Pisco, this place will be a Michelin star restaurant if not already!!

Is there outdoor seating to where my small pup can join?

They have a small patio area, but you would have to call in advance to make sure it's ok with them. I didn't see anyone with pets the last time I was dining there.

4 1/2 stars! We came here for our anniversary recently, dressed to the nines and expecting the…read morerestaurant to be ... more formal and dressy than it was. There were plenty of people who didn't look even 'business casual' much less the 'dressy' listed here in Yelp. We were seated and got our drink order in ... and waited several minutes. We had already decided on our orders when our server first arrived at the table, bearing menus listing the courses for the prix fixe five course 'Taste of Bacan' menu. (There was also a prix fixe seven course offering, but no menu for it??) We changed our minds and went with the five course offering ... and waited several more minutes for the first course to arrive. (Fortunately, the delays in service ceased after this.) The food was amazing! First up was a Lobster Burrata Tostada, on a little four inch crispy corn tortilla with sweet notes from the passion fruit. Next up was the Florida Snapper, beautifully cooked, with a loose mofongo and fennel shreds, but served on a bed of curry sauce which was too spicy for us. It was at about this point when the Bread Service we added showed up: a good-sized loaf of warm bread, heavily seasoned on top, paired with a chorizo/ricotta spread that I didn't care for. Then the Pork Belly, so soft and delicious. The last entree was the Carne Asada, served medium rare (off-putting to those of us who prefer our meat cooked), but delicious when eaten with the salsa and corn side. We finished up with the Tres Leches cake. I'm not usually a fan of Tres Leches, but this again was superb, contained in a dark chocolate shell, garnished with little chocolate/crispy rice balls. I appreciated that they had zero-proof mocktail options, and tried the El Dorado. I didn't care for it, though, as the drink changed flavors twice as I worked through the layers, and none of them were particularly tasty. Service started out very slow, but improved once the food started coming. My soda was refilled proactively, and the descriptions of the courses were interesting.

The service was incredible to start, but slowly fizzled out as the meal went on. The cadence that goes with a tasting menu went completely out the window as the second half of the course took twice as long as the first half. The wine pairing was exceptional, highly recommend it. Now the real problem, the food. The food was good. A couple items were really good. But honestly nothing was great! There is a lot of potential here, but this place is truly bordering on not being worth the cost. I wanted to have a different experience. In fact, this was the first restaurant we experienced once in town because I'd been waiting. It unfortunately was not worth the wait. You won't hate your experience here, but you may feel like it wasn't worth the money.

We both ordered the Moss as our cocktail, and my husband prefers a mezcal so he switched the regular tequila for one of the many they had to offer. He was also excited to learn new brands that most other places don't have. I enjoy a light and refreshing cocktail and that's exactly what Moss was with the cucumber and yuzu was perfect for this hot summer evening to start with. My husband had the octopus (I'm not a fan), but he said it was the best octopus he'd ever had! We shared the lobster and fried rice for dinner and honestly we took a bunch home for leftovers because it was so much food! 2.5 pounds of lobster in total between the cracked shells and what's added to the fried rice. At the end we just went with the dessert they offered us for free because we were stuffed and couldn't eat another bite. We both tried it and agreed we weren't fans of lemongrass ice cream but we appreciated the thought. The pineapple compote and crumble were excellent though.
