I came here a while back and the service honestly warmed my heart. Robert and Ramses were both incredibly sweet and thoughtful, checking in on us in the nicest way. Giovanni, one of the supervisors, also took the time to make sure we were happy with everything, which meant a lot. It was just a really wholesome, positive experience.

Arrived early for a dinner reservation and decided to sit at The Living Room Bar. The ambiance in the hotel lobby is fun as the walls are filled with eclectic decor and the seating areas are stylish yet comfortable. We sat for a while on a sofa, and then we made our way to sit at the bar. Our bartender Erika was very knowledgeable and answered some questions regarding their drink menu. I ordered a spicy margarita with Don Julio Añejo and my husband ordered an old fashioned with woodford reserve. Both delicious! Mine has to be the best spicy margarita I have ever had, perfect balance of lime and jalapeño, great kick but not overbearing. I still think of this drink and I can't wait to go back! Hopefully I find Erika!

Best lobby bar I've ever seen. The staff were friendly, attractive, and personable. There was live music from a local artist who plays here weekly and it curated a homey bar in an upscale environment with drinks to match. Highly recommend!!

The drinks are very good and the bartenders are very friendly!! It did have a little bit of a weird smell near the bar tho maybe it needs to be cleaned alittle bit more, but overall will come back

The ambience in general of the wave hotel is so beautiful. Both inside and out. My friend and I were coming in to have a drink before dinner and were the only ones at the bar. We were greeted warmly and ordered our martinis. SO GOOD! I loved looking at the decorations on the wall and the glowing trees that were places near the stairs headed up to the second restaurant. The service here at The Living Room was great and the bartender was cheerful and seemed to be happy we were there. I even heard they did live entertainment near the bar seating so I will absolutely come back to enjoy what the living room has to offer

I absolutely love this bar, so intimate and it's surrounded by cute artsy decor. Tonight (Friday night) they had a live singer who played the sax and guitar and sang the most beautiful throwbacks of r&b, it was such a nice vibe. They also have a good variety of spirits to choose from. My favorite signature cocktail of theirs is the Heart Beatz. Great spot for a date or intimate convos and chill vibes, highly recommend.

We have to rethink our own living room after a visit to this place. We stopped in for a drink before heading up to the Haven for a drink. Gotta pace yourself, right? What we found was a small bar right outside the entrance to Bacan. However, there are tables throughout the Wave Hotel "lobby" area which comprise the scope of this bar. Each "section" could be a setup for a living room in an eclectic lottery winner's house, many of which could be accomplished with a trip to a few different Homegoods. There's a wide variety of art, furniture, tables, and lighting which just makes the atmosphere elegant and quaint, until some schlub walks through in shorts and a t-shirt wheeling a suitcase. That's not enough to lower the rating though. The service area also goes up the stairs where there are seating areas on the stairs heading up to the 2nd floor where Haven is located. On weekends, they have live entertainment which on the night we were there was an acoustic guitar player who played the acoustic guitar since that's how that job works. The waitress was friendly and checked up on us regularly as we were deciding as well as during our drinking experience. Her drink recommendations were spot on. Plus, the ice was cold! We could see ourselves coming here again and again.

The smallest yet most quaint bar inside of the wave hotel! A must if you're in the vicinity. I ventured in after dinner nearby! I ordered a heart beatz cocktail and it was delicious. It was sweet yet citrusy (think cranberry), I sipped on it while taking a stroll in the back area of the hotel, such a quirky cute place! I also tried the exit pursue by bear; it had more of a smokey taste from the whiskey. The neptunia fizz had a more refreshing taste, not too heavy in the cucumber. The living room bar also offers a nice variety of small bites, definitely something interesting and new to try out. Cocktails are priced a little above $15, so a little more pricey than other places, but still worth the try, you don't be disappointed.

Really enjoyed our time here this afternoon! We sat at the bar which is on the first floor, across from Bacan (next on my to try list). The cocktails were fantastic and the bartenders were super attentive. Unfortunately the kitchen downstairs wasn't open yet but they offered us a select menu from the upstairs kitchen. The fried calamari was fantastic! Perfectly breaded and crispy, while super tender with a really nice aioli and grilled lemon. Really interestingly decorated- you just don't know where to look first and the more you look the more you find! Very instagramable. Strongly recommend this spot for a cocktail!

This is a bar in the lobby of the chic and upscale Wave Hotel. The bartender was friendly and the drinks were delicious and pretty. The drinks are pricey but I expected that because of the ambience. There are also appetizers but I didn't try any. Will definitely go again...and try some of the apps!

The vibe here is very nice. It's dim and would be perfect for date night. They have a variety of seating options that can accommodate up to about 6. I sat on the stadium seating type stair area. They have bites served here and I had the yucca fries and the charcuterie. The yucca fries were very good but the charcuterie was very salty but they seemed to balance that out with the cheese selection. I ordered El Braulio and loved the taste profile. The waitress shared that all of their cocktails are pretty balanced. I also ordered the Basil Tai which was very pineapple forward. The service was timely and the wait staff were all really nice. Overall it's a very cute bar to meet up. Not too loud and very chill.

This bar provides some of the best cocktails I ever had. The mixologist pay attention to details and were willing to make modifications to the recipes. I was impressed by the service and wowed by the drinks. I highly recommend this place plus they have live music which adds to the vibes.

The restaurant was extremely busy, so I expected a bit of a wait. However, the service was much slower than expected. It took a long time for our food to arrive, and one of the four kids' meals we ordered never came out. After waiting around 45 minutes, instead of apologizing or trying to resolve the issue, the manager approached us and immediately became argumentative about how many kids' meals had been ordered. I wasn't looking for a confrontation--I simply wanted the missing meal. I actually had to stop the conversation and tell him that if he came over just to argue, I wasn't interested. That interaction really left a bad impression. As for the food, it was a mix of highs and lows. The blue crab dip was easily the standout of the meal--rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. It's absolutely worth ordering. The edamame was also well prepared and made for a great appetizer. Unfortunately, the gnocchi was the complete opposite. It arrived ice cold, lacked flavor, and was one of the most disappointing entrées I've had. For roughly $45 between my meal and wine, I expected a much better experience. While I appreciate that they offered a Kids Eat Free promotion, the long wait, missing meal, and poor handling of the situation overshadowed that benefit. The restaurant itself has a sleek, contemporary atmosphere that's great for groups or families, but the lack of attentive service and the manager's approach to customer concerns made the experience far less enjoyable. I hope they've improved since my visit, because the blue crab dip alone deserves recognition, but based on this experience, I wouldn't be in a hurry to return.

There were plenty of people who didn't look even 'business casual' much less the 'dressy' listed here in Yelp. We were seated and got our drink order in ... and waited several minutes. We had already decided on our orders when our server first arrived at the table, bearing menus listing the courses for the prix fixe five course 'Taste of Bacan' menu. (There was also a prix fixe seven course offering, but no menu for it??) We changed our minds and went with the five course offering ... and waited several more minutes for the first course to arrive. (Fortunately, the delays in service ceased after this.) The food was amazing! First up was a Lobster Burrata Tostada, on a little four inch crispy corn tortilla with sweet notes from the passion fruit. Next up was the Florida Snapper, beautifully cooked, with a loose mofongo and fennel shreds, but served on a bed of curry sauce which was too spicy for us. It was at about this point when the Bread Service we added showed up: a good-sized loaf of warm bread, heavily seasoned on top, paired with a chorizo/ricotta spread that I didn't care for. Then the Pork Belly, so soft and delicious. The last entree was the Carne Asada, served medium rare (off-putting to those of us who prefer our meat cooked), but delicious when eaten with the salsa and corn side. We finished up with the Tres Leches cake. I'm not usually a fan of Tres Leches, but this again was superb, contained in a dark chocolate shell, garnished with little chocolate/crispy rice balls. I appreciated that they had zero-proof mocktail options, and tried the El Dorado. I didn't care for it, though, as the drink changed flavors twice as I worked through the layers, and none of them were particularly tasty. Service started out very slow, but improved once the food started coming. My soda was refilled proactively, and the descriptions of the courses were interesting.

The service was incredible to start, but slowly fizzled out as the meal went on. The cadence that goes with a tasting menu went completely out the window as the second half of the course took twice as long as the first half. The wine pairing was exceptional, highly recommend it. Now the real problem, the food. The food was good. A couple items were really good. But honestly nothing was great! There is a lot of potential here, but this place is truly bordering on not being worth the cost. I wanted to have a different experience. In fact, this was the first restaurant we experienced once in town because I'd been waiting. It unfortunately was not worth the wait. You won't hate your experience here, but you may feel like it wasn't worth the money.

So upon entry we were greeted and wished a Happy Anniversary from the hostess and then again from each person who interacted with us. I always appreciate attention to detail and small things that take notice. Our server and assistants were fantastic. There was never a time or moment to have even a crumb on the table that they weren't cleaning off. We both ordered the Moss as our cocktail, and my husband prefers a mezcal so he switched the regular tequila for one of the many they had to offer. He was also excited to learn new brands that most other places don't have. I enjoy a light and refreshing cocktail and that's exactly what Moss was with the cucumber and yuzu was perfect for this hot summer evening to start with. For appetizers we had the Nami nuggets which were fantastic, sliced thin, extra crunchy with lemon and dipping sauce, literally the perfect bite. My husband had the octopus (I'm not a fan), but he said it was the best octopus he'd ever had! We shared the lobster and fried rice for dinner and honestly we took a bunch home for leftovers because it was so much food! 2.5 pounds of lobster in total between the cracked shells and what's added to the fried rice. At the end we just went with the dessert they offered us for free because we were stuffed and couldn't eat another bite. We both tried it and agreed we weren't fans of lemongrass ice cream but we appreciated the thought. The pineapple compote and crumble were excellent though. Overall, Nami is a fantastic date and special occasion restaurant. Excellent food and service. We'll be back in the fall when the king crab comes back!
