Of course a side of platanos. The food was delicious and hit the spot for comfort food. I was so happy with my meal and excited to take home some platanos, that I forgot my purse!!! I'm really disappointed writing this review because I truly love the food here. I actually drive a long distance just to come to this location, and the food itself has always been great. Unfortunately, the service has consistently been really bad. Most of the girls working there seem to have a bad attitude, and they give extremely small portions. On my last visit, I ordered a combo with carne guisada, and the girl serving me gave me the smallest two pieces of meat. I politely asked if that was the correct portion, and she said yes. The manager even agreed with her. I was honestly stunned. My husband even offered to buy me another order, but at that point I refused. It just didn't feel right to spend more money after that experience. It's sad because I really do love the food here, but the service and the way customers are treated just don't make it worth it. Absolutely Delicious. They have an assortment of same day already cooked food for you to choose from. I wanted a little bit of everything but did go with the best option that didn't let me down "huevos rancheros" and "plátanos" So good and my order was prepped for me so fast. Then, the lady asked a question again, and the worker yelled at her. So my mother stepped up and helped her by answering her question. Now, this older lady is a customer who needs assistance. However, like on previous visits, there was quite a long wait--about 40 minutes just to place an order. While I understand how popular the place is (which speaks volumes about the quality!), it might be worth looking into a better system to manage the line or improve the ordering process. There is no table service so you have to retrieve you food when it's done but sometimes you just need to have a casual meal without having to hint for your server.
