Having a Peruvian as a significant other means going to a lot of Peruvian restaurants and eating a lot of Ceviche, and that is perfectly fine with me. I am actually wondering if this is one of the reason I am going out with her. Hmm??? But I digress. As many of you know, there is no shortage of Peruvian restaurants in Miami, and there is no shortage of restaurants, Peruvian or otherwise, serving Ceviche, each with its own take on this simple food and its own recipe and different variations of it. I would actually go on a limb here and say that Ceviche is growing very rapidly is popularity and has become one of the most recognizable dishes. But despite all the choices out there, Pisco Y Nazca remains one of our favorite places to go, both locations in Kendall and Doral, but mostly the one in Kendall since it is closer. And of course there are variations available, but for the most part, she stays with the traditional version and I stick to Cremoso. I love that spice. And of course, no Ceviche would be complete without Pisco Sour, which they make pretty good ones too. Of course that is not all we have. I believe we have tried everything on the menu, and everything has been good. Our favorite time to go there is the happy hour, from 4 to 7. You can get smaller portions of selected dishes for $5 to $7, which is perfect for trying out something you haven't had before, and of course the drinks are discounted too. I believe Pisco Sours are $6. Just one thing to remember, the happy hour food only applies to those sitting by the bar and not the dining room area. That is one thing that is rather disappointing. Make sure to sit by the bar or one of the tables around the bar, and make sure you are getting the happy hour prices. Other than that, bon appetit. read more

Once again you can't go wrong with the great food choices and service at Pisco and Nazca. We decided to come here for Miami Spice. What a great ambiance to come with friends or your family. Happy hour review: great for quick, small bites & delicious pisco sours ($7 at the bar only!). The traditional ceviche comes in small bowls for $5 - very tasty! If you like spicy (and even if you don't, IMO), ask for aji on the side. Adding a little more heat makes a big difference, trust me. The worst Anticuchos ever!!!! What an insult to any Peruvian! 3 Little pieces of Heart over three little pieces of Potato and some kernels of corn thrown in! Then my mother was charged extra because she wanted her shrimp on the grill instead of chicharrón de camarones, because it wasn't in the Menu! Seriously?! Last night I visited this place in Kendall and I am a client of Pisco and Nazca in Coral Gables of which I have very good judgment, but last night I visited the location in Kendall and I was very disappointed everything was a disaster everything! The food, the attention, the table, everything in general we ended up returning the food and we left with hardly eating, but the most unexpected thing was the bill in the end it was $92 and I saw a serious mistake and I think it's the worst thing I've seen in places where tips are left and is that below they leave you options of the tip percentage you want to apply and in the option of 18% it showed that 18% of 92 dollars were $25 which is mathematically not possible that is, I don't understand or they are scamming or I don't know what would be Passing here I have a photo as proof of everything what a shame this place the truth read more

I'm really glad I gave this place a third chance. Peruvian food is *chef's kiss* amazing but my first time around in the Doral location (this was around the time they first opened this location so give them the chance now!) I was underwhelmed when all the food was saltier than the Dead Sea. I went a second time around (to Kendall location) because someone wanted to celebrate a special occasion and food was better but not something I would want to order again. Now here comes the third time ... and I've gone a few more times now to both locations... YUM. The pulled pork tostones are a MUST! Love me some lomo saltado and side note: pescado a lo macho was not too spicy so if you like things extra spicy you might want to mention it to them. If you're over 21 then I recommend getting the pisco sour flight as well as the tranquilo tropical! I bought a gift card for one of my friends, and they never sent the gift card. Every day that I called the restaurant, they said that it wasn't their fault. I've checked out the Pisco y Nazca location at Doral and had a wonderful time so when some friends were in the area we decided to give this location a shot! We have not been in this area before so finding the restaurant was tricky! We walked around a little bit and finally found it between Blue Martini and Tu Candela. We sat inside and it was busier than we thought it would be. Our waiter was very friendly but took him awhile to come by to place our orders. We placed our orders right away. We ordered Pescado a Lo Macho, Jalea, Arroz con Pollo, Lomo Saltado, the Passion Fruit Pisco Sour and the lychee drink (I don't remember the name). Drinks came out quickly which was great! Their pisco sours are so good! I remember them from the Doral location and loving them there! My plate didn't come out in time due to a mix up in the kitchen. I completely understand since it was a busy night too! The manager, Ivan, was very sweet and came over to apologize and offer something to pick on while I waited. As long a you do not get Veronica as a server, you will have a great time. Food and drinks were great, outdoor seating g was nice. The tequeños appetizer are a must. As for Veronica, I asked her which drinks are in happy hour and she rudely and repeatedly instead happy hour was over. I showed her their instagram page that said "Thursdays extended happy hour till close" and she seemed upset, she went to double check with her manager and came back and said it was fine but we would be getting a different server. We haven't eaten here in a while and meals have been good in the past. We noticed that is was warm but waiter told us it because the opening of front door was letting heat in and the amount of people. Never did he say the a/c was broken. Is wasn't that crowded either. So I ordered something else. Food quality was pretty good. But the hot air made it terrible and hard to enjoy the meal. Dessert took 20 minutes of waiting in the hot restaurant. How long does it take to cut a piece of cheese cake. Management should have brought in a temporary portable unit or warn the guests. Let me start by saying this place is fire!!!!!!! I was hesitant about coming and my friend persuaded me so I will admit her recommendation deserves an award lol. We started with beef and corazón anticuchos, and cheese tequeños. Wow the beef one was really tender and tasty. Then she ordered a sangria and I ordered the Nazca mule, which was made using the Peruvian liquor called pisco it was great and I love that it had a burnt orange on top. We also ordered the ceviche sampler and the lomo saltado. That lomo saltado was superrrrr good sheesh! First time at Pisco y Nazca and my meal was incredible. Started off with some empanadas mixta (10.50 usd for a Carne and and Aji de gallina empanada) it came with a delicious rocoto aioli, the perfect combo. The order of tostones with pork (14.50 usd) came and it was great accompany with the rococo aioli. The pork wasn't its best as it came a little cold but it definitely had good flavor. Following the pork tostone came the causa sample (12.50 usd). It was delicious and each one with its unique sauce. One had tuna tar tar, the other regular tuna with mayo and lastly a fried shrimp. Again the rocoto aioli was a great with it. The conchitas a la parmesana (16 usd for three scallops) had a good amount of cheese to also enjoy the scallop flavor. The last entree was the picante ceviche mixto (21 USD, bass based). It was good ceviche with a fair portion. For drinks we got the Pisco Flight (23 usd) and it was so worth it. I've never had pisco sour de Chicha morada and now I have a new favorite drink. The passion fruit and regular pisco sour were great as well. Desert was complimentary as it was my first time there. They have a bar code to scan and sign up for the restaurants reward program (also includes Bulla and Beehive) For the desert I got the Buenazo (12 usd) this is a brownie with a layer of chocolate, lucuma ice cream on top and chocolate pieces sprinkled on top The customer service was amazing. The waitress would come and ask if we are doing fine and they would refill the water cups frequent. She also explained the complimentary desert. I had a great experience. The restaurant itself is beautiful and very open. I can't imagine how amazing it must look during night. I love this restaurant! Delicious food and fun atmosphere - perfect for lunch, dinner or a date. There is indoor and outdoor seating, but I prefer sitting at the bar. It's a u-shaped bar so it's perfect for people watching. The bar staff is very attentive. I usually pop in for happy hour and always order ceviche sampler - it's delicious. I've had a few other tasty items on the menu through out the years, but the ceviche sampler is my go to.
