Ridiculously priced. I got a tea they charged me $3.57 I got same tea the next day they charged me $4.25. Wish I kept my receipt. Read the reviews after that said the same thing. Only use cash don't swipe you'll regret it. read more

BOYCOTT THIS BUSINESS. Clerk was hesitant when i asked for a receipt. After reviewing receipt I noticed I had an ATM fee of $.50 when I paid cash for my items. Went back in and asked why I was charged an ATM fee when I paid cash. Clerk then acted like he didn't know english and played stupid. Stay away from this liquor store & the unnecessary ATM fee when paying CASH. Ask for a receipt & see the facial expression on clerks face. This is, just like it says in the name, the liquor store located extremely very close to pismo beach. While they do have their own parking lot, it's shared with a couple of really popular businesses. That mixed with the beach traffic can mean that you have roughly 50-50 odds of finding a spot at peak times. I kinda feel like it's best to just park wherever you normally would for the pismo beach visit and then just leg it on over. If you've paid any attention at all to some of the other reviews you'll pick up on a not so nice trend. Specifically, bad service and high prices. I get that but I'm gonna have to buck the trend here. Sure the staff will at best ignore you until it's time to ring up, then expend as little syllables as possible on you and yeah you are looking at a 40-60 percent markup it's true butttt......your'e at the beach. You need a little sumpin sumpin. This is the only spot what has all your adult beverage choices in a non judgmental easy staggering distance. It's quick, it's easy and they have whatever you'll need for that super happy fun time that you'll be wanting. On top of that there are some surprising choices here. For better or worse this place has one of the deepest tequila selections I've seen. Lithuanian vodka, Serbian slivovitz and local and /or cheap beer-yeah they got it. So. Premium service? Nah. Very convenient location if you are in the downtown Pismo Beach area. My husband and I stayed at Inn at the Pier and decided we wanted to drink a bit before dinner. We went in specifically looking for Screwball whiskey which is behind the counter. When we asked for it, the clerk immediately grabbed the large bottle without even telling us that he had two other smaller sized bottles. I noticed the smaller bottles and we purchased the smallest for $12. Little did we know that we would want another bottle. We went back for the medium bottle for $20. Hind sight, I suppose we should have just purchased the large bottle to begin with, but we weren't prepared to hide a large bottle of alcohol while out on the town enjoying ourselves. Have no clue if the prices are high, etc. as we don't drink very often. :-/ read more

Terrible service the owner is a rude older man followed me through the whole store. I get up to the register he's all grouchy grey cloud over his head. He then says in a demanding voice to slide my card I tell him the screen is not opting for it yet and tell him he's coming off very rude and he says he's the owner so he can be rude. I had to take 5 breaths before I trashed the poorly stocked liquor store;instead cancelled my transaction. I am a member of the pismo beach community and ashamed a store like this is out here.He is a overweight fart and very pushy and disrespectful. If you want to get ripped off this would be the place I walked in to grab an ice cream and when I went to pay for it the cashier scanned it and it rang up at $5.99 he looked at me cleared the amount and physically typed in $8.99 I asked him why he did that he said that's the price I told him he's wrong I just seen him scan it and it marked $5.99 he said it was something else for that price I asked him to re scan it he did not want to he then turned his register off and said look it's not scanning. I then told him he must think I was blind to not see him turn it off I asked if he would not Mind turning it back on and scanning it that I would pay what it scanned at he said no the price is wrong and scanner not scanning right I then handed him back the ice cream and grabbed my money back since I had laid the money on the counter to pay ahead of time so if the scanner is not working why did you charge the previous customers with the scanner and the ones after I got my money back you charged them with the scanner as well. This to me is fraud and I will be sending the BBB your way since business rules are if you have more then 3 items not scanning correctly you will get fined so if this is your business get your staff in shape and have them price check items on the shelf if you feel it's marked at a lower price than what you wish to sell it for and not have such suspicious behavior to where the cashier makes up a price per item as he wishes when the customer walks up to the counter. read more

Janky and way overpriced, but close to where we were staying so we grabbed some stuff and planned to never go back...

Place is horrible. Beer isn't even close to fresh. The service is horrible .. I grabbed three cents from the change tray to make n even dollar and the idiot had the audacity to tell me to leave the money for someone who needs it . They are always really nice and they have a large selection. Our group was craving some adult beverages and we walked over to PB Liquor. The man working there helped us pick out what we were looking for, carried our stuff to the register, and even gave us a discount for being nice. I know that the prices here are a bit high but you're in an area with limited options so the course of supply and demand comes into play. Providing good service goes a long way and I don't mind paying a couple bucks to get some service in this darn town! read more
