Ambiance: Local BBQ spot with a rustic vibe and indoor seating - fast and friendly service! They were out of several of the side options but we did enjoy the baked beans and green beans. The brisket sandwich and plate met our expectations. Decent pricing - would have enjoyed being able to order some of the other sides listed. Parking onsite, drinks available for purchase. We got our order to-go and it took less than 10 minutes to get our food. Recommend if you're in the area and are looking for BBQ!

Would give 5 stars but I asked for plain on brisket sandwhich and I was given pickles and jalapeños. Maccaroni had a taste I wasnt familiar with, im not the biggest fan of it but it was decent. Brisket was amazing though, they do give their portion. Kool aid was amazing as always Total price 18$ They do have m-f specials 11a-3p

Came by for some take out and got the 2 meat plate on a Saturday afternoon. The service was great and the food was cooked quickly. I enjoyed the brisket, which was juicy but more on the fatty side and also the baked beans. Definitely stop by this local joint when you are in the area!

    Brisket Potato

The food is high quality, great presentation, and flavorful. Had me wondering who the Pit King is. I had the brisket potato and my sobrino had the link sandwich. Both were high quality.

Logo!- when you see this in front of Klaus-you May want to stop!

Food was fabulous! Eating just the beef-cheese and jalapeños with a fork where enough to get me full-but I still ate some Chips! Good flavor and very tender-not fatty as some places I've tried.

Unprofessional. They let you pay before telling you items are not available. The girl who works there is incredibly passive aggressive.

A 2-year Michellin star BBQ joint was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. My friends and I got there around 10am and were lucky enough to grab a number. The number secures your spot in line but don't worry if you show up and they run out, there's a spot on the porch where the non-number line starts. We ordered moist brisket, garlic sausage, and the beef rib. For sides, we went with mac and cheese and beans. Everything was superb! The brisket melted in your mouth, no knife needed. The sausage had a nice snap to it and get great flavor. The bark on the beef rib was *chef's kiss*. The mac and cheese was creamy while the beans had a nice sweet and tangy flavor. The service is also great! While we were eating, staff would regularly check all of the tables to check if anyone needed anything. The staff taking our order also chatted with us about other BBQ spots we've been to. Everything was such a great experience and the quality of the food is 100/10!

You can ask to see the piece of rib before they cut it for you and they will happily oblige (patrons behind you might not be so thrilled with that move, but they'll live). Sides were excellent as were the mashed potatoes with white gravy on the side, green beans that were just tender enough, but also a bit crunchy. Perfect. They were seasoned with pork, so if that's not your thing, you might want to skip it. We also ordered their shareable onion rings, easily enough for three people that were huge, hot, and crispy. Let's get this out of the way, some of their prices are a little up there, but if you're anything like me, and don't frequent BBQ places often, it's a rare but enjoyable treat. Sometimes you have to splurge and live a little. Also, they have their regular sauce on tables, but you now have to ask the cashier for their sublime coffee BBQ sauce. Don't be shy, ask. It's worth it. Oh, pro tip: If you want beef ribs, the 'plate' is actually cheaper and a better deal than 'by the pound', so save a little money and get two sides.

The best thing there is probably the brisket though. It's moist and fatty and easy to eat. The ends weren't hard, charred, or chewy. I don't think there was like seasoning or flavor was heavy but the quality of the meat was delicious. The sides weren't the best or even best selection. Just the basic corn bread, steamed okra, green beans, and a few others. They had like garnishes at the condiment bar. They have sauces like coffee bbq, hot sauce, habernaro, and bbq sauce.. the bbq sauce is the best. The coffee bbq sauce literally taste like espresso and was weird. The habernaro sauce was just straight medium spicy but no extra flavor or sweetness to it. The hot sauce is more like Louisiana or Tabasco type of hot sauces. The service was nice at the bar and counter.

I love Texas BBQ so I've been to all the Austin, Dallas, and Houston spots especially on Texas Monthly. Brisket was dry, chicken was brined for a little too long and gave a tire texture. Potato salad was too wet, too fatty, and didn't provide the acidity to contrast the fat. The sausage was decent, I give 4/5 stars. It was thick, juicy, and was similar to other places such as Truth, Corkscrew, Terry Black's, etc. The elotes was also too acidic for my liking and the cheese on top didn't mix well with the dish. Finally, the brisket was just ok. I must've gotten a lean piece because it had the texture of chicken thighs. The bark wasn't flavorful or smoky. Barbecue sauce was what I expected. Worchestchire, ketchup, and brown sugar elements make up for an average BBQ spot. Overall, I would come back and order 10 of the brisket egg rolls and call it a meal.
