I had a hunkering for Mediterranean food and stopped by Pita 360. I ordered a Pita with gyros (upcharge for this meat) and wanted either French fries or lentil soup. They had neither the soup or fries as offered in the combo on the menu. In addition the hours have been reduced. I don't know who's running this place but it seems like the business is not doing well. This is a part of a chain of restaurants in the Southbay. They have one in Redondo under a different name. It's sad when you can get a combo offered. In addition I discovered the gyros meat was burned to a crisp. I've attached a photo which shows the epic failure. They didn't cut the meat off of the rotisserie and it was in a hotel pan and who knows how old. Don't get me wrong, the meat was properly seasoned but too well done. The servers were friendly and the restaurant has ample seating and clean. Too bad the food has gone downhill. In a positive note, I do think they have the best Pita bread around. This place would get 4.5 stars if I could do that. I went with the Rice Plate and picked Gyro over rice as my protein. Unlike most places that give you a choice of two sides Pita 360 lets you pick three. I chose the spicy hummus, mixed greens, and tomato & cucumber. You also get one sauce or for 75 cents you can get a second one. The plate also includes one of their soft and puffy pitas. The Spicy Hummus that I picked was very good and fresh just like the other sides I picked. For my free sauce I went with the garlic but also decided to add a second of their Spicy Cilantro so I could try it. The Spicy Cilantro had lots of flavor and a nice kick that added to my overall meal experience. Inside the place was well lit and spacious and the staff was very friendly. Will definitely have to come back and try more of their menu. read more

Excellent and fresh Mediterranean food! The menu is pretty simple, but there is a good amount of customization to make your dish your own. My hubby and I ordered via Uber Eats and each tried the rice plate. It ends up being a lot of food and we could probably even share a plate next time. Great value for the price of ~$15! Here's what we went with: Chicken kebab - moist, flavorful, and perfectly charred; five pieces of chicken Rice pilaf - simple/standard well-cooked rice that provided a nice blank slate to the plate Fresh vegetables - primarily carrots and broccoli with one piece of bell pepper in there. Veggies had no seasoning, but I loved eating them mixed into the plate Hummus - smooth, creamy, fresh-tasting hummus. We mixed in some sambal we have at home, making it an excellent spicy hummus Pickled onions - these tasted more like standard sliced red onions with some seasoning. We wouldn't get again just because they weren't really pickled and ended up being a little too harsh for the dish. Pickled turnips - added a nice, flavorful crunch with a vinegary bite. I liked these more than hubby. Red cabbage - cooked perfectly so it had just the right amount of crunch. Nice flavor too. We both really liked this. This is aweso.e spot to grab some Mediterranean style food. It's like Chipotle style service with Mediterranean options. I always get a pita from here because it's so good but they have plate options as well if you want to cut out some carbs. They have a few different protein options. I think I've tried most of them and they are pretty good. Lately I've been getting g the falafel because they make it when you order it it comes out perfectly crisp and moist. All of the toppings are great depending on what you like. They have a buttery rice that is always delicious. Their sauces are great too. Usually you get what you want for $10 or less. Service is usually pretty quick and they are friendly. It is located in a small plaza so sometimes parking is a pain especially around lunch time but usually there are spots. I have been wanting to try this place as I love Mediterranean food. I finally did last night. Quite disappointed. Place was empty. Grill area looked like a school cafeteria - kabobs just sitting out there for the next client. Price's are quite high. I proceeded to order as my gut was already telling me NO. Once I got home my pita was just overstuffed, looked like a hot mess. Overall I rate it a 2.5 maybe 3 stars. I will definitely not go back. This is just a fast food - non authentic "Mediterranean Food". Also, I was expecting some Greek, Moroccan or Egyptian (or just from the Mediterranean Sea) owners but no ... therefore I do not consider this being authentic. My friend recommended the pita pocket, and the flavor of the falafel goes well with the pickled radish, but even though the falafel was freshly fried, it lacked the crunchiness I was expecting in the sandwich. Sometimes I even come here for just the pita with the garlic sauce and hummus on the inside. The ordering process is fairly simple. It's like the Mediterranean version of chipotle. You choose how you want your meat/veggies which can either be in a sandwich, salad, or plate (includes 3 sides). Then you can choose your protein choice of: chicken shawarma, tri tip shawarma, chicken kebob, falafel, salmon kebob, and steak kebob. So far I've tried the chicken shawarma, tri tip shawarma, and chicken kebob. My favorite protein is the chicken kebob! Typically, when I come to Pita 360 I order the sandwich if I'm not too hungry and the rice plate if I feel pretty hungry. The plate is a lot of food and I've never been able to fully finish it by myself before. Definitely try the garlic and spicy cilantro sauces for added flavor. The sides are also good and I mainly order the hummus, fresh vegetables, or the tomato & cucumber. For being a fairly small plaza, they have plenty of dining options to choose from, but I definitely come to Pita 360 if I'm feeling like something a little healthier. Think of Pita360 as the Chipotle of Mediterranean ingredients. You start of by choosing your base (bread, plate, or veggies), then your meat (lamb, chicken m, steak, etc.), then your toppings. I chose to go Man vs Food style and loaded my pocket pita up with a lot of lamb, spicy hummus, some type of spicy salsa, a lot of picketed red onion, tomato, more spicy hummus, feta cheese, and olive oil. It weighed nicely on my flimsy wrist and made the trek down into my stomach no problemo! That and a soda was a lil over $10. It was well worth it. It's clean and open. I recently visited for the first time and returned the next day because I enjoyed the chicken kabob plate so much. This location will be in my food rotation when I want something on the healthier side. The employee allowed me to have a few samples and In my two visits i have chosen Tabouli salad , Tomato/Cucumbers, and the red cabbage which has a sweet vinaigrette dressing.
