Idk what all the 5 stars are about most of them are fake. Most of the reviewers haven't been to the Middle East and don't know what authentic middle eastern tastes like. Let me promise you it tastes nothing like this. I ordered the chicken kabob platter. Horrible food, poor taste, and unauthentic. Food doesn't look anything like the pictures. Restaurant cuts corners and uses packaged premade rice and store bought garlic on their "garlic/Parmesan" bread. The gross Walmart garlic paste to be more specific. Hummus is bland and flavorless while the Greek salad had no dressing. I've never seen a Mediterranean Restaurant mess up hummus that bad. I mean if they can't make something as simple as hummus correctly are they really a Mediterranean restaurant? What a joke lol. All the food quality tastes like cheap packaged food and I wouldn't recommend anyone to try this place. What middle eastern place doesn't have garlic sauce for their food? I have never been to one that doesn't have it except this one. The tzaiki was also bland and flavorless and they're supposed to use yogurt which they didn't. Not sure what they used but it was a gross knockoff of something that looked like tzaiki but didn't taste anything like it. Oh btw for some reason, the owner seemed upset that my girlfriend and I used a coupon. Yelp had a 15% off deal but the meals were only $11 each so I didn't use it. The owner was pleasant and helpful and suggested a couple of items we'd like. There was a lot of healthful, tasty food for only $11. Why only 4 stars? When we got home, we realized the pita bread and hummus were missing. Grrrrrrrr!!!! Food is excellent. Hubby goes to pick up lunch. We usually get their lunch menu. We both can eat for around $20. For dine in they actually bring the food, napkins & silverware to you. I don't know how it's possible, but some of my coworkers had never had Mediterranean food..... Sadly, this wasn't a good first impression. My organization had Pita Kebob cater a luncheon for 60 women. I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW OUTSTANDING PITA KEBOB WAS--from the quality of the food, to the abundance of the food, to the fabulous service, and the price per person. Everyone in attendance loved the food, and it was plentiful and delicious. I told the owner that I was picking everything up at 11:00, and all of the food was ready for me when I arrived. The owner also called me the night before to confirm the order. A couple nights ago I went here to grab dinner and while I was waiting on my food, I was actively watching the guy at the resister and the cook in the back making food with no gloves on and without washing their hands at all. The man at the register would take cash payments then immediately go into the back and continue making more food. We were from out of town, looking for a Chik-fil-A, and decided to give this place a shot since we both like Mediterranean food. Great surprise. You get an authentic greek salad with a platter meal, whereas most places just phone it in. The gyro platter meat and rice were fresh made. I wish I could give 0/5 stars. This place was hands down, the most disappointing meal of my life. I would have been happier with a happy meal from Mcdonalds. It's a shame because there was a guy, who I assume is the owner or manager, who seems to really try to make this place decent...but the help he has is abysmal. Complete lack of care, the helper/cashier at one point even told me that "this is a Greek restaurant, so the food isn't that good here". I have had better kebab in a mall food court. The rice was bland, the pita bread seemed like it was store bought, and the sauce was passable. I had been wanting to try this place that opened in Apollo Beach about 10 months ago. Their location is unfortunate, because unless you know it's there, it won't attract much drive-by service. I hope they can do some advertising to get more folks in the door. The owner was super friendly and freshly made our orders promptly.
