Ordered the Greek with no olives cause I'm allergic and behold there is olives in my wrap and I've never had issues at the south hill location.I couldn't tell they were in there and being the trusting person that I am unwittingly started eating without hesitation. Went there both Saturday and Sunday. Both days there was only one employee. Despite this the lady making our food both days was doing a fantastic job. She had great costumer service even though things were hectic. she took the time to make suggestions and tips even though there was a long line of costumers. I'm writing this because I did see one man yell at her after she asked him to move his skateboard so others wouldn't trip. She handled him very well and kept making other peoples food. I have had a lot of subway styled Pita wraps from Pita Pit back in India. Basically, they were my go to lunch often. Here, in America .. not that often .. been to a Pita Pit only a few times .. and mainly it has to do with comparison .. comparison from the food back in India to here. I agree that everything is fresh, service is friendly and it is a nice change to Subways and similar places but then somehow the taste here just doesn't remind me of the Pita Pit from India. They used to be so tasty back in India and here the pita wraps are just meh. May be the preparation method is different .. may be it is the chicken tikka pita wrap that I miss (a bit spicy) .. or may be it is how the pita wraps were grilled in India and not here .. to be honest I am not sure .. I would not recommend this specific location, they were rude to my boyfriend and i. My boyfriend had ordered a BLT pita, and the employee put spicy ranch in my boyfriends food even tho my boyfriend doesn't eat spicy, the employee then said he can't remake it, he sat and argued with my boyfriend for 5 mins straight about it, we just then wanted a refund, but i found out later that the employee said, "well if you weren't too busy making out with your girlfriend, you would of heard me" my boyfriend and i were 1000% not even kissing, this is just absolutely the WORST service i have ever received coming here, never coming back. read more

Having a healthy place to grab a bite to eat near a college campus is rare, so when I heard that this place had vegeterian/vegan/healthy options, I was hooked. I tend to eat healthier, so this place was awesome. I love the fact that they have whole wheat pitas and hummus! Loved it. The staff was nice and I got my sandwich fairly quick. A decent amount of seating inside and outside, I can imagine this place being extremely busy when Gonzaga starts up school, but since I went during July, it was pretty dead. I know they're open really late (until 2AM, I think 3), but in the summer they close earlier at about 10PM, you have to call them to make sure. Usually like pita pit, came in at 10:20 pm on Thursday night (they close at 12 am this night) my server nate was not there, I waited a minute and Nate finally came back in, oh well it is what it is. I order a regular chicken pesto on bulldog bucks. Since it's on bulldog bucks I don't leave a tip, otherwise I would have. Nate proceeded to serve me a small chicken pesto pita. I paid $11.49, the price of a medium chicken pesto, and received a noticeably small chicken pesto. All because I didn't leave a tip. I don't believe that me leaving a tip or not should change the size of my order whatsoever, Nate was being paid already for being there a tip is in order if I believe I have been handled with care, I was definitely not, even before I received my undersized pita, Nate was not inside the building when I walked in nor was he especially friendly.
