I got the Blackened shrimp bowl with added Avocado ($17ish?) and greens base. I loved the shrimp- but the avocado was sort of brown and the greens were wilted romaine or iceberg. I have been here many times since they opened and I feel like I need to defend them against some of these reviews! They 100% deserve five stars! Finally, a place that has HEALTHY, CLEAN, and MACRO friendly options! Not only are they clean, healthy and macro friendly ingredients, they are also QUICK. The inside is bright and clean and the decor is tasteful. I love it. I have tried just about all of their bowls and there isn't one I don't like. The service is always timely, the employees are very sweet and accommodating, and the food, again, is so yummy and not too expensive. This person who said they got "maybe a cup of food for $42.00" is exaggerating. The bowls are usually between $14 and $18 depending on any substitutions or additions I make and it is plenty food. I am rarely able to finish it in one sitting. Some people have mentioned the bowls being dry without an extra side of sauce (so order an extra side of sauce.....?), I don't entirely agree, but I think people need to remember that this place is all about healthy eating. Drowning the bowls in sauce, changes the calories and macros in the bowls. It's like when you eat a salad, but then smother it in ranch dressing. You might as well have had the cheeseburger, because It's no longer as healthy as you want it to be. I think it's important for people to remember this is healthy eating. This is not smothered in sauce, cooked in butter, full of preservatives eating, it's healthy! This is what good wholesome clean food tastes like! It's good and good for you! Someone else said the mango salsa was cold. I don't think I have ever had heated up or warm mango salsa, and I'm not sure I'd want it, so I don't think this is something to hold against them either. I have had the blackened shrimp with mango salsa bowl many times. It's actually one of our favorites! I usually want extra mango salsa, because the combination with the lime creme and the blackened shrimp is perfection! It's so good! I love their food and I love that we have them as an option in Spokane now! We can finally get a quick healthy meal that we can feel good about! I will keep going and keep trying everything you make! We had a last minute need of finding a good dinner spot. We had previously driven by Konala, noting it because we moved away from Spokane about three years ago and it was new since we moved. The restaurant was nice and clean. The kitchen was open to the restaurant, which is usually a good sign. The order taker was friendly and helped me decide between the spicy chicken teriyaki and the honey sriracha chicken. I got the sriracha chicken and my wife got the mini blackened shrimp with lime crema sauce and added avocado. I LOVED my chicken. The sriracha coating was tasty and spicy and the pineapple added the right amount of sweetness. My wife was a little disappointed that the avocado was more guacamole than a sliced avocado that she was hoping for, but was happy with the meal as a whole. Great experience, all-in-all. read more

What a delicious experience! We went through the drive-thru and didn't have to wait long for our food. The service was friendly and the staff even shared their own favorites and recommendations, which was helpful. It's a newer place, and the exterior was well maintained and inviting. We ordered the Teriyaki Bowl and the Steak Greek Bowl. The chicken in the Teriyaki Bowl was cooked perfectly and the chimichurri sauce on the Greek Bowl is absolutely to die for!! This place has quickly become one of our favorite go-to spots. My only wish is that they allowed substitutions for the veggies.. for example, I'd love to swap the broccoli in my Teriyaki Bowl for cucumbers. But otherwise, it's a great place to try! read more

The people I was traveling with have strict dietary restrictions, and I for one am not particularly health conscious. We were all able to find options we wanted and we all enjoyed our meals. We went here for the first time last weekend. We ordered two bowls with a strawberry lemonade. Both bowls were fresh and clean but a little dry without a side of sauce. I got the spicy sriracha to add to my honey siracha bowl and it added the creamyness I was looking for. I only wish I would have known they were going to charge me $2.50 for a half empty cup. The lemonade was nicely balanced and I appreciated it wasn't too sweet. The service was okay, but I thought the remodel was beautifully done. The space was bright, clean and inviting. read more

2nd visit this week, and I was disappointed to find out that the tofu and all fish have been pulled from the menu. Because of other limitations, I went ahead and ordered a teriyaki bowl with extra broccoli, sauce on the side. Sauteed some alternative "chicken" product at home with the broccoli and sauce, and then added back to the bowl. Not a perfect fix, but I got some veggies in, and it was easier than preparing everything from scratch. Pretty expensive for fast food that I had to alter, though. read more

PROS: The food was good, I had the Teriyaki chicken bowl. It was flavorful but the helping size for the price was a little disappointing. I had a strawberry lemonade, it was good. Very basic inside with music playing. CONS: They use Clover as a POS and have turned off the tip feature. Many people don't tip at Quick serve places but some do. When I asked the manager why, he said that is not the direction we are wanting to go. The look on the cashiers face said it all. They have a tip cup hidden in the corner. It was empty. Clean space and kind employees! Food isn't the best I have ever had, but for being so healthy and GF my family and I were pleased.

Went to order, my bowl was $15 and the cashier tried to charge an extra 1.50 because I wanted my sauce on the side. My husband was also charged an extra 2.50 for his sauce on the side. I'm am specific with how much sauce I prefer to put on my food. When I asked her why she was charging me for extra she said there was no other way to have the sauce put on the side. I told her I'm not paying for sauce on the side if it comes with it. She said that there is no other way to put my sauce on the side. I left without getting anything. I was extremely disappointed with the service. If you don't care to pay an extra $4 to have your sauce on the side go for it but I will not go here. read more
