I do not recommend this place. Let me begin by saying that the customer service was great! The person that assisted us was very helpful and she was kind. The place was dirty and in need of some good cleaning and change of the dirty carpet. My water cup had a lipstick print; it was not mine- gross! The soup we ordered was 5/10 for me and my sister did not even eat her soup. Unfortunately, we will not return. Whoever owns this place, make some improvements quickly. I was looking for a Greek Restaurant in the area and found this gem! Has the lamb kabobs and a Greek salad. Salad dressing was a perfect layer on top of the deliciously crisp lettuce, feta, olives and cucumbers. The plate of lamb came with a side of rice as well as the most amazing garlicky green beans I have ever had! The baba ganoush was nothing like baba ganoush - it was overwhelmingly garlicky, had no hint of eggplant, and was thick and creamy like hummus. Came here with my two buddies and I was wearing my rain jacket because it was raining but for some reason they weren't wearing their rain jackets. I didn't ask them why they weren't wearing them, just judged them for being immature. Highlight from my time - my buddy (the tall one with hair that goes in circles) had the hiccups. That isn't the highlight, just the start to it. Next thing you know he has a really big hiccup followed by a burp. Oh that was funny. I start laughing and he starts laughing and I keep laughing until he keeps hiccuping and then I get scared he will choke on his laugh when he hiccups but laughing is fun especially with my buddies. Would have been EPIC if he hiccuped, burped, and then farted. Gyro was complete fire. So good. I had the chicken lemon soup, honestly next time I will choose the fries. read more

The Avgolemono soup is one of the best I've had (and I've been around in Greek restaurants!). Don't be confused by the name -- it's chicken, rice, lemon, and egg, and all kinds of wonderful. A much better side than fries (which are tasty, it's true) and worth the upgrade cost. The service was great: friendly and attentive. When I walked into this restaurant I did not know what to expect. However, I was sat immediately and everyone I talked to was so kind and helpful. This is honestly best service I've had in CDA. They were fast and efficient with my food and it was obviously fresh. The chef (Ryan) came out and checked in on us and was so nice. He said he just bought the restaurant a year ago but he clearly knew what he was doing. My favorite was the hummus.. I could tell that they had recent upgraded some of the decor and the chairs were new and comfortable. I can't wait to go back when I'm in town! read more

The Olympia is by far the best Greek restaurant in the neck of the woods, which make up Coeur d'Alene in Spokane the euros are outstanding the dinner place. The lamb is just delicious. The salads are outstanding. The baklava is outstanding. The service is outstanding. A step above fast food. If you are really into food and love flavor and thoughtfulness in food, I don't think it's for you. Went here bc it's one of the only places in CDA that isn't New American. Nothing was above average. Calamari was most likely from a bag of frozen squid sticks. Way overpriced for 6 fish sticks essentially. Family of 5 ate 1/2 of big platter. Seemed kind of tired and slopped on the plate. Lamb souvlaki was fine. Lamb was unseasoned and wasn't special in any way. The whole thing was bland. I put the extra seasoning from the fries on it and that helped. It's tomato season and mine were tasteless. Pita was good :) Gyro meat and Some dips were good. Fries with seasoning were the best thing. I feel like they could be amazing if they revamped the menu a bit, get some more flavor and freshness in there, take off anything frozen and things that come back to the kitchen uneaten frequently. We agreed it was fine but for a $100 birthday lunch (1 appetizer, 4 drinks, two salads and two entrees) it was disappointing. Waitress was great! read more

Liked the overall setting .. the staff was super friendly and the service was awesome. Food .. umm .. I would still need to visit one more time to give a better rating .. right now 4 it is. I had the lamb souvlaki and a few pieces of meat were a bit tough for my liking. But then those are char broiled and that is how a char boil is .. may be I will have the chicken next time or the gyro meat .. hehe .. Falafels could have done with a bit more flavor too .. the soup was really nice and so were the fries :D All in all, it is great to have a Greek restaurant around .. although I live in Spokane but I will try and come here every now and then :) read more

Went here on a whim for lunch, haven't had much variety of food since moving here. Restaurant was cute and quaint with Greek culture. Our server was very sweet and accommodating. We ordered the sampler platter to try a little bit of everything. It was all very tasty. We also ordered 2 gyros one meat and the other falafel, soo good and huge! So glad I finally went! I had a light lunch, the chicken lemon orzo soup and a side of pita bread and baba ganoush. What a treat! I moved away from my favorite Greek place in the Midwest and hadn't found my fix of this classic zesty soup and it is exactly what my heart desired. Flavorful, lemon in the face, with good savory chicken and orzo flavors. Success! A lot of pita and the baba ganoush was warm and garlicy. My husband loved his gyro. The salad was very flavorful, and it complemented the meat well. The gyro meat slices were tender and delicious. The side of pita bread with tzatziki was heavenly - the pita bread was soft and yummy, and the sauce was addictive. The sauce had some paprika (?) sprinkled on top, and there was a shaker of the same seasoning at the table. The staff was friendly and kind, and the food was out very quickly after we ordered. Me and my girlfriend had the gyro and seasoned fries it was our first time ever trying this restaurant and the portions were amazing I had asked for extra meat because that's usually how I order a Gyro, but you don't need to here the owner obviously knows what he's doing it's not prepackaged frozen meat it's fresh off the spit. The food came out incredibly fast faster even than the last time I ordered a burger at Burger King in the drive-through and even though the staff was busy they made me feel seen and let me know how long it would be. read more
