We have been coming here for years and can say it's never disappointed us a single time. The staff is always very friendly. The restaurant is very clean and the atmosphere just feels very homie as soon as you walk in the food is always very warm. Fresh and delicious. Great priced. I would definitely recommend checking this place out.

I do not recommend this place. Let me begin by saying that the customer service was great! The person that assisted us was very helpful and she was kind. The place was dirty and in need of some good cleaning and change of the dirty carpet. My water cup had a lipstick print; it was not mine- gross! The soup we ordered was 5/10 for me and my sister did not even eat her soup. Unfortunately, we will not return. Whoever owns this place, make some improvements quickly. BUT i did hear some comments of other customers "i am a local and i come often" So it is up to you! Do a review and let us know what you think

I was looking for a Greek Restaurant in the area and found this gem! Has the lamb kabobs and a Greek salad. Salad dressing was a perfect layer on top of the deliciously crisp lettuce, feta, olives and cucumbers. The plate of lamb came with a side of rice as well as the most amazing garlicky green beans I have ever had! I'm a light eater so I was able to take home the rest to go and enjoy for two full meals.

Awesome food. The lamb was tender and moist. Beans were not overcooked. Will be coming here again

Truly, about the best Mediterranean food Ive had outside the region. The sampler platter had all my faves: Huge grape leaves, terrific hummus and memorable falafal. Cary was dynamite, great service with a smile!

Came here with my two buddies and I was wearing my rain jacket because it was raining but for some reason they weren't wearing their rain jackets. I didn't ask them why they weren't wearing them, just judged them for being immature. Highlight from my time - my buddy (the tall one with hair that goes in circles) had the hiccups. That isn't the highlight, just the start to it. Next thing you know he has a really big hiccup followed by a burp. Oh that was funny. I start laughing and he starts laughing and I keep laughing until he keeps hiccuping and then I get scared he will choke on his laugh when he hiccups but laughing is fun especially with my buddies. Would have been EPIC if he hiccuped, burped, and then farted. Gyro was complete fire. So good. I had the chicken lemon soup, honestly next time I will choose the fries.

    Awesome calamari!!

The portions were huge, and each dish were large enough for two people to share. I don't know what kind of sauces are included with these dishes, but they're so delicious. I also like the yogurt sauce that it came with. The dishes were already good by itself, but the yogurt sauce made it a lot better. I'd like to try other things next time, but you can't go wrong with the manto and eggplant curry!

And when it's a Greek restaurant on top of that, that's basically a recipe for perfection. You can smell this place from blocks away. By the time you get to the parking lot, you're already salivating in anticipation. Vampires be warned: you're not getting within a half mile of this place! Sure, not everything was perfect about our meal: the Sarmisak (garlic dip with walnuts and parmesan) didn't do much for us, and my wife ended up preferring my Bahce over her grill plate (I can't remember the name of it), so we ended up swapping dishes. The Turkish Cigars were a huge hit with both of us, although we both wished they were a bit larger. I'm not sure I quite "get" the running aesthetic going on here at "The White House", as well as their sister establishments "The Oval Office", "The Pentagon", and "The Capitol". I mean, I get the theme, but...why? I don't get the Why of it all. Regardless, it's immaterial. The food is awesome, and worthy of a President. Well, not our current President...but one of the good ones, for sure! The staff are efficient, somehow buzzing about all over the place, managing the chaos (this place was PACKED on a Saturday night), but still managed to be friendly, attentive and focused. And despite ordering two cocktails, two appetizers, and two entreés, our bill was somehow still less than $100, I'd say that you definitely get your money's worth here! Hell, we even took enough leftover back to our hotel to keep us fed almost the entire next day! In short, I would vote whomever is running THIS White House in for a second term...and a third...and a fourth!

We ordered the Idaho potato skins (without bacon) and they were supremely yummy! Crispy, cheesy, and just right with the sour cream. Our non-alcoholic drinks hit the mark. For mains, we ordered burgers and pasta primavera. The pasta had great flavors-- a nice cheesy sun-dried tomatoes sauce with a plethora of garden veggies. There was a nice kick to the sauce which I relished. We ordered crème brûlée for dessert. It was splendid! Our waitress was sweet-- she kept checking in on us to ensure we were doing okay with our food. A 10/10 here. Parking situation was okay given how crowded this side of the town gets on a weekend. We managed to find a spot. The only thing that confused me is I am not sure if this restaurant does complimentary birthday dessert. I indicated on my reservation but I don't believe they do anything about it. I am surprised that a restaurant at this caliber doesn't do anything to make their guests feel special. We told our waitress and she did bring a candle on the crème brûlée. I guess that's all they do then. My only other feedback is to have more vegetarian options on the menu.

There's something about these "yacht club aesthetic" harbor restaurants that always seems a little…read moresoulless and artificial: sometimes it's the menu that doesn't use fresh-caught, local seafood; sometimes it's the cheap pinewood tables and chairs camouflaged by nautical novelties; sometimes the place just sucks, and is propped up by nothing more than tourism, nostalgia, or worse: nostalgic tourists. Dockside avoids most of these maritime miscalculations, but leans into a few of them as well: namely, a lack of an unique identity. There's plenty of excellent looking, sounding, and tasting items on the menu, but none of them give you a clear picture of what story or trajectory the chef is trying to steer you toward, which honestly isn't that big of a deal, if you're just looking for a solid meal. You'll find that here, unquestionably. It's just not likely to be a particularly memorable one. Yes, the salmon dip was good, although there definitely wasn't enough bread, unless you slather it in enough spread to make the crostini underneath it seem like more of a suggestion. Our cocktails were on point, but you can tell that each pour of liquor was exacting and precisely measured, as to prevent any excessive alcohol beyond regulation. And when your bill comes to somewhere northwards of $80 for two drinks, an appetizer and a cup of soup, it's hard to cover that bitter taste in your mouth, no matter how good the stew tastes. It probably sounds like I am being unreasonably harsh on a restaurant that I've still giving three stars to, and perhaps I am; but only because Dockside feels like the sort of place that should be a designated dining destination, and not just a random ritzy resort restaurant that's WAY too hard to locate, if you're on foot using Google Maps, wandering around the perimeter of the building and wondering why you can't find any signage or entrances. Perhaps it was the aloof, disinterested server (and her anxious trainee) that seemed like she had better things to do elsewhere. Hell, maybe it was just me. But it's hard not to shake the feeling that Dockside is a ship adrift without a rudder, without a sextant, desperately searching for a north star to navigate toward, or a port to come home to, and finding nothing but the endless sea stretched out before it in all directions.

The service was friendly and nothing to complain about. Ambiance wise, this is a place where you go up to the counter and order your food and seat yourself and eat. It is not a sit-down restaurant or a place with waiter service. The Shawarma came out close to $20. It came with fries as well. The fries were not anything out of the ordinary but the shawarma itself was not very seasoned. The meat was cooked fine and there were no red flags, but I think the seasoning was very underwhelming. Maybe I didn't order the right thing, but I think a shawarma is pretty standard. I would probably not return, if given the chance.

The app for three came with pita bread, falafel, hummus with babaganous, tzatiziki, and dolma. The falafel had a wonderful herby flavor, but was really soft and nearly mushy. The hummus was okay, a nice texture but was just okay. The tzatiziki was herby, a member mentioned it was too sour for her, but another enjoyed it quite a bit. The pita was soft, but just didn't have much flavor and tasted a bit old. I had the gyro sandwich with fries. The food was not hot and the meat lacked charring. The cuts were uneven and the fries were just fries. A member of my party ordered the chicken sharma. The rice was delious! Fluffy and had a wonderful flavor with turmeric and some other spices. Her meat was also cooked nicely, but honestly just lacked flavor. The salads of both the shish kabobs and the chicken Sharma were fresh but had really uneven cuts. The shish kabob meat was beautifully charred however the meat was cool. Also the rice lacked flavor and was only saved by the cliantro lemon vingrette. The drinks were nice. We got cucumber, lemongrass, and hibsus. They were all mild in flavor which paired well with the food. Honestly everything was lacking depth and care.
