Love pitango gelato. The server was super personable and friendly and greeted my friend and I with a smile and let us know we could sample whichever flavors we wanted. I ended up getting the mango and raspberry gelato and it was so refreshing and tasted exactly like I was eating a fresh mango and ripe raspberries. We sat at two stools near the window and there was a nice playlist on in the background.

so yummy. great quality gelato. i got the pistachio flavor and the texture is so smooth and creamy. you can taste the quality of the milk that they use. they also have a cafe nearby so ill need to check that out soon!

You can sample the flavors you are curious in. We loved the cantaloupe one. We only got one at the beginning but went back again to get a second one. It was delicious and super refreshing. My sister have been to italy and she said this one tasted a bit watered down compared to the one she had in italy but still good. We only got one flavor but you can get do different flavors.

Pitango is a delight to my heart. The gelato is always creamy, silky, and rich in flavor. The menu rotates, so I usually ask the staff for their pick of the day: decision-making is hard when everything's good. I'm a tea person, and I'm obsessed with the black tea and matcha flavors. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the room is bright with a great view of the beautiful streets of Fells Point. A must-stop for me whenever I am there.

I love the texture of the gelato here and they have a variety of flavors. The service is pretty quick and they have some limited indoor and outdoor seating but nice to take the ice cream and walk around fells point.

Food: We got the blackberry, pomegranate, and hazelnut flavors. They all tasted great but the textures were a little weird. Service: Everyone was very nice and helpful, letting us try the different flavors. Ambiance: The place is quaint but air conditioned. Price: This was the drawback since everything was a bit pricey.

We ordered mango, strawberry and chocolate hazelnut. I was very amazed by the Chocolate Hazelnut flavor, it's very flavorful, it's definitely the chocolate hazelnut I had in gelato. The service is great. The only thing is the size of "large" is still fairly small, so they use one size cup, it's just you could get more flavors.

Always so yummy! It is quite on the expensive side but that's to be said with gelato! The workers here are also super nice and welcoming. The shop is simple, not that many chairs but they make it work.

Amazing gelato spot in Fells! Ordered the passion fruit and pink grapefruit sorbet gelatos. Both were excellent and refreshing. We ate outside on the benches, as there is limited indoor seating. Can't wait to come back and try some more flavors! Friendly service with the option to sample before buying.

Amazing gelato spot, so glad I could stop by! I got the pistachio and stracciatella flavors. Both were so delicious and creamy. I really liked the texture of the gelato as well. There's some seating inside but it's the perfect treat to grab and take with you while walking around the area on a nice day.

Although a chain, Pitango's is worth checking out. Staff is welcoming and helpful; service is fast. There are some tables inside, but why stay inside when you can walk the waterfront with your treat? Paid street parking is available in the immediate premises, or free street parking can be found if you don't mind walking one or two blocks. Since it's a smaller shop, it can get crowded when busy, but it doesn't get overly loud. They have a good amount of flavor options with some very unique choices depending on the time and location. There are also many non-dairy options. I highly recommend the strawberry sorbet on a hot summer day! Prices are slightly higher than I'd normally pay, but they aren't so bad that I wouldn't return. This place is popular for a reason - I recommend you find out why for yourself!

The best gelatos around! I recently came back while walking around Fells Point. It's been so hot out and a cold gelato sounded amazing. The staff greeted me when I walked in. I looked at their flavors and asked to try a couple different samples before settling on the Fior Di Latte. It was light in milk flavor and was so creamy - simply delicious! It's a casual spot to get gelato or other beverages. Pretty pricey but fun to come for a rare treat!

It's not Italy but it's still pretty good. If you know what the real deal gelato is supposed to taste like, lower your expectations and come thinking of ice cream instead. That said, it is lovely ice cream and the staff is helpful. We happened to come in on a night that the manager was training a new employee who was doing a great job despite being obviously new. I got a scoop of vanilla and a scoop of hazelnut and it paired really nicely together. My boyfriend got the ice cream sundae which wasn't the prettiest thing ever, but it seemed good. Unfortunately, we came in close to closing time and the manager was not shy about letting us know this. We were asked to leave right at 9pm on the dot along with many other customers. He was respectful about it, but I did feel rushed and my boyfriend wasn't able to finish his sundae. All in all, if you're hankering for ice cream in Fells Point, I'd recommend this spot.

    Dairy free flavors?

Yes! They have a vegan chocolate ice cream and I believe they have some other sorbet and non-dairy options as well.

What are the cup sizes for the ice creams? I see the small green cups everywhere is there something bigger?

They have single, double and triple servings of their amazing gelatos and sorbets. Each scoop is probably around 4 ounces.

Even though the temperature was in the low teens with a windchill around zero, GKs all got ice creams. They only issue any of them had was that the gargantuan sizes were still not big enough; taste was that good. Me, I picked up a sfogliatella riccia to enjoy as a post-theater late-night snack. We also picked up a bunch of Italian cookies to take home. We had to hide them so the GK vultures couldn't get to them early. Vacarro's had a great selection even at 6PM. The bakery aroma was fantastic, seating was plentiful, prices were reasonable, and parking (street and for-pay lot) close by. It's a must-stop destination whenever you make it to Little Italy. Arrived in the afternoon during a busy weekend and decided to take out for desserts. My first visit and was underwhelmed by the service received. Rushed and transactional. Packaging was very sloppy and my napoleons were shoved to the side, making the clear clamshells very messy when I arrived home. If only the desserts were saving grace, but was left disappointed as well. As others have mentioned, the pastries do not taste fresh. The ricotta cream in the original cannoli tasted warm and gritty, the shell was stale. I noticed these were sitting out. The puff pastry in the Napoleons were soggy. The cream puffs shell was stale and chocolate topping was super sweet, unfortunately these were far from heavenly. Maybe another day, Vaccaro.

Toppings in the bowl include mochi, mango jelly, and mango cubes. On top is some mochi, mango slices, and a scoop of passion fruit sorbet. There is mango sauce and condensed milk throughout the bowl. The staff spent a lot of effort to make the bowl pretty and did a nice job of mixing the ingredients so that you don't have toppings on top only. The shop seems cute and there seems like there would be more things available when the owner is in. They have lunch boxes that look good. They also have takoyaki on the menu but the machine is currently down. One thing that I didn't like is that the item was different from the menu description. I was expecting mango snow and mango ice cream or sorbet. It's not the end of the world but I picked this one in particular because it was supposed to be mango snow. While the bingsoo is large enough to share, I also feel it is priced a bit high for what it is. Might be because there aren't many other laces like this in the area but bingsoo is usually bigger or less pricey. Overall, a decent stop for dessert if you want something a little different. Street parking was not that hard to find when we went.

During the winter, their seasonal drinks are some of the best around. Their pastry selection is fairly consistent, with croissants available daily, and they're always delicious. I do wish they had a larger breakfast and lunch menu, but I don't believe they have a full kitchen. This place can get very busy, especially on weekends, and since they only have one espresso machine, the wait for drinks can sometimes be a bit longer. The only areas that could use some improvement are the staff and the cleanliness. Most of the employees are friendly, but there are a couple of seasonal workers who don't seem very welcoming. The shop can also be a little dirty at times and could benefit from more frequent cleaning. Overall, I love this coffee shop. It's small with limited seating, but if you're lucky enough to grab a table, it's the perfect spot to relax with a great cup of coffee and a delicious pastry.
