Terrific food. I really appreciate the kind woman working the counter, as she helped me figure out a mixup with the GrubHub order I'd made. The food was so flavorful. Good portions, fresh and delicious. I ordered the Chicken Over Rice Plate. The chicken was tender, perfectly grilled and there was plenty of it. They add a small salad with cucumbers, onion and tomatoes, along with hummus that had a nice, mild flavor. Also, the sauce on top of the chicken and basmati was a winner. I recommend adding a little bit of heat to the plate (I used good ol' Sriracha), which made for the perfect meal. Loved the whole fresh pita on the side. Let me first say, the food was pretty darn good, there was plenty of it, and it was reasonably priced. The rest of what I'll say is constructive criticism, hoping that they'll be more aware of what might drive away customers. Rearrange the seating so people standing in line aren't awkwardly standing next to people at their tables trying to eat. Don't have employees busting through the line of customers at noon with hand trucks of supplies - that shouldn't be done during the lunch rush. Tell the cook who enjoys clanging his spatula against the grill loudly and often to find another way to express himself. Give people order numbers - yelling "chicken plate" and walking away isn't helpful. If two customers ordered the chicken, do they just fight it out? Try to speed things up. Most people are there on their lunch hour. The menu needs some work - it's confusing. Seems like it would be very easy for someone who doesn't want lamb to end up with it on their plate. This place is new and will probably work this stuff out over time. read more

Today was my first visit , my friend had been going here almost everyday since they opened. So I drove from Elk Grove to try this place out . AMAZING !! The rice .... Rice is my favorite food lol ..... the rice was flavored perfectly . The Gyros .... crisp on the outside and so delicious ..... probably the best gyros I have ever had . The chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned , no fatty parts on it at all. I even have food allergies , including an allergy to sesame seeds, and they were SUPER accommodating, three different people made sure my food was all ok for my allergies ! Gotta love that ! The staff , including the owner , we so nice ; you feel like you've been going there forever ! The deserts looked beautiful and delicious, unfortunately I cant have them (nuts) but my friend had some and then bought more to take home , and most customers bought deserts to take home ... Different strokes for different folks. I tried the Falafel Corner. It must be Turkish food because I have eaten Falafels at other Middle Eastern restraints before. I have made them at home before. I liked the food at the mama Habash Cafe in Hermosa Beach. I chose what the waiter recommended. First the falafel was pepper hot and my wife could not eat it. It was pretty hot for me. Food is amazing. There's something for everyone if you don't particularly like Mediterranean/middle eastern food (although the gyros and chicken platter are so good). Service is excellent. It was hot (temp) and the meat was moist. Their hummus was perfect as well. We also tried the Dolmas...they were very good. I am not usually a fan of yogurt sauce, but FC's is on point. When we went in today, they were taking care of a catering order, the girl said they had to make 60 gyros. While we waited for over 20 minutes, not one of them made eye contact to say they will be with us. The owner did not make any attempts to tell the customers who were waiting. We ordered the chicken/falafel platter. The portion was huge, my husband and I shared it. Ask for their hot sauce, it is very flavorful. The Turkish delight while delicious is pricy at 99 cents a piece. Falafels seemed like they are fried twice. Fried , frozen and fried again. Chicken was definitely tasty. read more
