Found this little spot when I was craving a Mediterranean dish! The ladies working were extremely friendly and just so happen to be testing out shaved ice recipes so they offered for me to try and I couldn't resist. My personal favorite was the rose flavor and this wasn't your typical shaved ice. The ice tastes delicious and has so much flavor and the fixings on top just added to the flavor. 2nd time going to this place. The first time was great the food was perfect, the staff that day were awesome. This 2nd time not so great. Called in my order, I was very very specific about my order, I ordered a gyro with Chicken! I made sure to say chicken because the fact I knew There was other meats that go with a gyro. Walked in, waited at the counter for a lady to finally come and cash me out, The lady was very unpleasant that serviced me, she was very frugal with The condiments. I asked for ketchup Togo and she gave me 3 little packets, I asked for more she gave me one more and would not give me anymore. I didn't even want to ask for any other condiments due to the fact that I felt that it was too much to ask of her. I drove all the way from the hills down to pick up my order and come home to find out that they gave me the wrong order, A lamb Gyro. I called the lady back to tell her that she got my order wrong and she said she didn't. And to check my receipt and that's what I ordered. This is a $8 meal, I could care less about the cost, the fact she try to tell me that I was wrong and didn't take responsibility nor find a solution to exchange the food for the right order was what blew my mind. The funny thing is when I ordered I made her repeat my order back to me to make sure she got it right. And sure enough she repeated it back and still got it wrong. Word of advice check your order before leaving and make sure you are EXTRA specific when ordering with a lady that works there. read more

Went there with a friend for lunch. There were a few people waiting and we ordered our dishes, albeit It took some time for the order to be prepared as there were only two ladies working the counter and kitchen. The food was very nice, the falafels were fresh and the pita was very soft and fresh. We sat outside in the common area and enjoyed our lunch. I would definitely repeat. read more

Tried the falafel platter and my boyfriend got the gyro platter. Both of these plates were amazing. Lots of food for the price as well. Falafels were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. They have a really good hot sauce as well. Also The Lady who took our order was really nice and gave us a sample of tea that was pretty good. Food came out really fast and was fresh. We drove up to the restaurant today expecting to eat at Falafel Corner and were surprised to find a new name on the building. We were so happy to find out it's the same owner and same amazing food, they are just no longer part of the franchise. We ordered the combination plate (our usual favorite) and were really pleased. Same quantity and quality food. I actually think the chicken is better now! A nice plus - the prices are a little lower! The gyros here is the best in town, and the hummus is delicious. Finally! After losing a Mediterranean restaurant in Broadstone years ago, we are so glad to see Falafel corner in this super convenient shopping center! And the food does not disappoint! I had the gyro platter which had some of the best gyro meat I have ever had and I've had gyro meat from Eureka to Brooklyn to Madrid! It was tender in the middle of the slice with just a perfect crisp on the outside. It included a generous helping of meditteranean rice and a surprisingly fresh green salad with tomatoes, romaine lettuce and thin sliced red onion. While the salad could have benefitted from a Kalamata olive or maybe some carrot shreds, the size of the platter was plenty for most appetites! They served four pieces of pita bread in a separate bag so it wasn't necessarily a gyro in the wrap sense but I preferred it the way they served it. I'm sure that the gyro meat could not have been contained in the pita anyway with those hearty portions! I chatted up the friendly, cheerful bearded gentleman who took my order and he warned me of their hot sauce! Now I do enjoy a good burn now and then but was happy I stuck with the more creamy mild sauce because the hot was HOT! (But good when used sparingly!) I am excited to go back and try their chicken. I could see this being a twice weekly take out spot for lunch or dinner and I recommend you do the same if you are in the area! I admittedly was disappointed by my meal, because of how much other reviews raved about this restaurant! I got the falafel platter and it really was a great deal for the amount of food they give you for the price. The pita bread, hummus, house sauce, and tzatziki sauce were all delicious! (Beware the house sauce is very hot, but I loved it) My friend loved the rice, but I thought it could have used more seasoning or salt, as it tasted pretty plain. The falafel was nice and crispy on the outside, and baked well, without being greasy. The falafel was good, however, I have had better. I'm no falafel master though, so I really don't know how it could have been made better. I most likely will eat here again because of the great deal though! I can also say my body did not feel great after, as I am sensitive to gluten. Just a heads up for you GF eaters out there! read more

We had dinner at Pitas are Us and really enjoyed our experience tonight. The food was delicious and service was excellent. We are picky about Mediterranean food but thought ALL the food ordered was flavorful, seasoned, and made with good quality ingredients. We had two combination platters and a side order of falafel. The falafels were crispy on the outside and nice and moist on the inside; flavorful. The deserts (Turkish delights) were outstanding. I particularly enjoyed the baklava roll and the chocolate filled nugget. The owner is passionate about her business and food and very sociable. We highly recommend this place. I've been in 6 times and have always really enjoyed the food. My family and I went yesterday and it was terrible. Our fries were left on the counter before all the other food was five and arrived cold. Two out of the three wraps we received had barely any meat, like a third of what I would have expected. Mine was stuffed with lettuce with two pieces of chicken! I'll give them one more try and if this was a fluke I'll take this back as anyone can have a bad day but if this is their new practice I'll be taking away a star. read more
