Stopped by Friday with my family. We ordered the Curly Fries, Shawarma Wrap, Gyro Pita Wrap and Gyro Platter. I'd personally return for their delicious curly fries! We didn't care for the sauce on their gyro meat and it was a bit too spicy in my wrap. So maybe ask for it on the side or w/o. 3 stars until I can hopefully update this review. I was craving Mediterranean food and decided to give this place a try after seeing their BOGO deal for the loaded chicken bowl on DoorDash and I'm so glad I did! The portion was generous, packed all the way to the top, and full of flavor. My only suggestion would be to add a little more sauce so when you mix it up like a salad, everything is evenly coated. You can ask for extra on the side, but I was in a rush picking up my order to go. I also tried the Greek fries which were super tasty! Definitely best enjoyed fresh, though. I let mine sit for about 30 minutes, and they lost some of that initial crisp. I loved the addition of olives and banana peppers, which added the perfect salty kick. The chicken wings were another win. For $19.99, you get 12 large, meaty wings (not those tiny ones!). They had just the right amount of breading and came coated in a buffalo sauce with their own unique twist, absolutely delicious. We have been going to this location for some time and even order delivery. We loved the moose chicken and condiments being hugged by a warm pita bread. We went there recently and either the location is under new management with new owners or Falafel corner decided to cut corners to save money and assume the customers won't notice. We noticed! Instead of a warm pita for our wrap, we had a tortilla. Not flat bread (which I wouldn't mind if it is lavash) but straight up a tortilla you use for a burrito. Also the chicken is now dry and flavorless. My husband hates to waste food and it was so bad, he through it out. This man very rarely through out food. How can they improve? I don't normally review chain places but this 1 deserves it. The food was made fresh after ordering; I never mind the wait time for made to order meals! It's an extra plus at a supposed fast food place. I feel like the staff genuinely cared when they asked us how the food was (3 times!) and I appreciated that. Over the summer, the Falafel Corner opened up an eatery in Folsom, CA. Besides Mediterranean food, they have halal hamburgers, chicken sandwich, chicken nuggets, and fries. The diverse menu is helpful when the fam bam has differing meal hankerings. The hamburgers are sourced from Harris Ranch. Another thing to note, is that all the meats served are officially certified halal by the HFSAA. Not a lot of eateries can claim that. I ordered the chicken platter. The chicken was tasty. It was served on top of rice. The rice was fluffy. The tzatziki sauce was plopped in a glob right in the middle of the entree. I wasn't particularly enthralled with it. It had a creamier taste, than I am used to, with strong notes of parsley. Next time, I'll ask for the sauce on the side. The plate also had a salad serving, hummus, and pita bread. The pita bread was served warm and tasted fresh. Soft and pillowy. Yum. It was folded into fours and placed into a bag. I rather liked the folding versus cutting of the bread. The salad serving was fresh. It didn't taste as if it had dressing on it though. The interior is decorated in a bare essentials manner. There is not much of a vibe. The cashier was serious and polite. Nothing wrong with that. The cook however was full of personality which the place needed. This is located in the shared complex, so parking could be very tricky. When you go inside you go to the register and order. Once you order you will get a receipt with your number and it will be called when it's ready to be picked up on the side of the register. I guess you can say that this place is more of a pickup and go. Although there are some tables there for you to eat on, it Just doesn't feel so inviting to me. The place itself seems dark and lacks a fresh look. As far as the food, hands down.. I would definitely order from them again. The food is delicious! I love getting their combo platter! Comes with a good amount of food for the price ($13.99) everything on the platter was well made. From the smooth hummus to the Gyro. Customer service is so so, but the food speaks for itself. The young man working there was not unkind--which is the most positive thing I can say. He took our order without any issues, but there wasn't a single pleasantry or smile. I don't expect anyone to love their job or be thrilled to see me, but I was smiling, being pleasant, and hoped for some degree of reciprocation. Nope. Just a stone-faced stare back at me. Nothing about the hospitality will encourage me to come back. The ambiance: Bleak and unclean. The fluorescent lights give the inside a gray, depressing vibe. I feel for the young man working there, actually; standing in this environment for a shift would be rough. Each table was dirty, and we ended up cleaning our own. The ambiance alone would keep me away. The menu situation: Confusing. They post a menu above the counter and another to the side, but it's not easy to get a complete picture of what's on offer. I didn't see drinks or prices listed, so I asked the young man, but he seemed confused and a bit impatient with my question, so I dropped it. After we ordered, my wife noticed menu items posted below the counter that we completely missed on the upper menus. She was disappointed to see her preferred item too late. We have recently discovered Falafel Corner on Door Dash and we are addicted! The first time I ordered I got the combo gyro and chicken platter but now I am sticking with the chicken. It's small, tender pieces and some of the best Mediterranean-style chicken I've had. The platters come with generous portions with a delicious sauce and lots of rice. The hummus is so good, I could eat twice as much. It comes with one pita which I think is plenty but my husband likes to get an extra. Honestly one platter could almost be two meals but it's so yummy I have a hard time saving any. Delicious! Came here during their grand opening and was very pleased with the service and quality of the food. The owner/manager was greeting everyone and the individuals behind the counter were very kind and patient despite how busy they were on day one. The decorations are nice and there is adequate seating along the wall inside. Parking was easy as there is a big lot in front shared with the other businesses near by. We ordered the gyro wrap and the chicken wrap and thoroughly enjoyed both. The meats were flavorful and fresh and the portions were big. We were so happy to get to enjoy our second wraps for dinner as we participated in their BOGO Grand Opening deal. I had the chicken wrap with fries. I should have skipped the fries because after I ordered them the screen suggested baklava which I couldn't pass up. Then it was too much to eat. Plus fries don't really go with the Chicken wrap. It was delicious with great flavors. The baklava was amazing also. You walk in and order on the screen and then they bring it to you. We fell for the BOGO :(. The place is hole in the wall next to a Korean chicken place and a surprisingly good sushi place (Aloha). There isn't much to say about the decor or the guest experience, as it's a fast-food joint with a TV running the "game". The food is pretty bad. You get large quantities of tasteless ingredients. We got the gyro wrap which consisted of three slices of tasteless mystery meat, gobs of lettuce and a generous application of tahini sauce. The falafel was under seasoned and overcooked. The cashier was ok but slightly impatient. We also got the chicken shwarma fries, which was a HUGE plate of pre-cut fries and chopped up (again tasteless) chicken with tahini and buffalo sauce applied by a fire hose. The only thing I could taste was the buffalo dressing. Sorry but even with a BOGO, I'd rather go to Petra in Palladio. read more

My experience was the best. It's challenging to judge them because it was a delivery order. I had the standard gyro and a falafel. The falafel was pretty solid. Crispy but a little dense on the inside. They gyro was made me give the low rating. I like a straight forward tzatziki and their sauce was different and had a little brownish color. It seemed to be packed with meat but after eating half the rest of the pita was just lettuce onion and sauce. I might give them another try but, not to be rude to the business, there are much better spots fairly close to here. read more

Tried this new place out the other day and decided to get carry out. I ordered a chicken platter and a gyro wrap with 2 sides of fries. During picking up my order, I must have forgotten to grab the fries because the staff member came out running behind me to make sure I had that. I am so glad we decided to get this because it was very delicious. The chicken in the platter was cut up into smaller pieces unlike other places which I thought was better. It was also full of flavor and really yummy. The gyro wrap so was filling, I couldn't even finish it so saved it for next day and it was still equally as good. I have tried almost all Falafel Corner places in Sacramento area and this is the best one hands down. The restaurant is clean and the employees are friendly and helpful. On my recent visit I ordered Gyro Quesadilla and Badmash Fries and those were delicious. I have also tried their Bacon Cheeseburger in the past and that is a must try!!!!!
