I came here 2/3 times a few years ago and they were so good. My friend had a Dr's appointment near by so I suggested it, there was one couple ahead of us so it took a few minutes for them to take our order... nbd or so I thought. We got 2 burritos a quesadilla and a side of guacamole. it took 28 minutes after I paid?! For Mexican food?!? That was precooked in containers? The tortilla weren't even toasted, they completely fell apart a few bites in. The meat was SOO SALTY, the cheese quesadilla wasn't even melted all the way through? It was so bad and so confusing. With tip I think I paid $68?!? Absolutely terrible food, terrible service, 100% slop never again

Ignore all of the haters. This would be considered decent Mexican food anywhere including SoCal. I had the tacos and they were delicious. I would gladly go back next time I'm in Enumclaw.

Something changed with their tacos and this place is no longer 5 stars. $4 per taco is a bit pricey in general but when they just lay out 5 tortillas (single not double like they used to) and put the toppings on top those aren't tacos. Meats (asada and pork) were fine but not the flavor or texture they used to be. Toppings (onions and cabbage) were fine and verde salsa was good. Unless they go back to their old taco style unfortunately we won't be back.

Alright, when y'all (and by y'all I mean, you homogeneous Enumclaw folks) say this is THE NATION's best burrito, the rest of us have to assume we will need a grain of salt. And I was right. As of March 2023, please know their menu is caput and it's CASH ONLY. The nice lady kept talking to us about how she's rebranding and how the menu is down to like literally 4 things (tamales, tacos, burritos and ?? Idk because she said the word rebranding like 89 times). That also means most of their less common meats, such as lengua, are gone. We wasted too much time choosing items that she kept saying were no longer available. At this point, the menu already looks janky, just cover or cross the things you're getting rid of and avoid the waste of time. Sure, the size of the burritos is nice. This isn't new or amazing, there are plenty of other big burrito places in Pierce and King county. The tortilla was nice, the rice and beans were nice, but the meats were burnt/toasty/crispy, and yet their "salteada" veggies were raw. Mm. Do you get a lot? Yes. Is it above par to a lot of other places? No. The green salsa was literally flavorless, and that's weird because it came with red onion, so you'd think. But no. At $34 for 2 burritos, I just have a lot of questions about who named this place the best in the nation. Maybe leave the safety of white town and venture elsewhere and you'll see there is bigger and better out there. Just a suggestion.

Ordered a carne asada plate, I got ground beef with no seasoning and a pound of sour cream. Pitas used to be so good before they changed owners, I used to go a couple times a week. Will never go back now.

I've come here a few ish times in the past 6 months hahaha I just love their tacos. It's quick It's reliable It's yum nom I should branch out from my tacos, but I just love them so much. They come with loads of veggies, which I love. Great balanced meal in my opinion Again, it's just so good! You have to try it!! If not, I suppose my big stomach may keep them in business maybe hahaha

Found via Yelp. Authentic Mexican food with veggie options. Will return, excellent post-hike food 10/10. There are a few outdoor tables, not many chairs. We enjoyed our tacos standing. Got a veggie quesadilla and chicken burrito to go.

Friendly service and giant burritos! Two kinds of salsa, the red was smoky, the green was bright. I'd like one more with a bit more heat. Not a food truck, but similar approach. You order outside and take away your food. They do have a few nice outside tables. I look forward to trying more menu items! Great place for lunch in Enumclaw!

Stopped by here after a roadtrip up to Rainier National Park for lunch. Pita (the owner) was up front to take our order and was so extremely personable and upbeat- she was super patient and gave fantastic recommendations on what burritos my friends and I should get. Each burrito is HUUUUGE, and filled to the max. I ended up getting the ranchito burrito with carne asada. The meat was well seasoned and the fillings were so good. I ended up eating half of the burrito and taking the other half home. This place was such a hidden gem on our roadtrip, only bad thing is that I live 6 states away across the country and am not able to come back for round 2!

Stopped here on the way back for a quick bite. Hole in the wall place right next to a chevron gas station. I had the veggie quesadilla - which was HUGE, my wife had a pork taco and chicken taco which were normal size. Quesadilla had a lot of filling, but that actually was the problem - it overshadowed what I expect from a simple cheese quesadilla. Tacos were good not great. Was super cheap - 15 bucks and we were stuffed. The red and green salsa were killer good, and the lady who owned the place was also very nice.

The food is amazing!! I felt like I was eating from the streets of Mexico! I have traveled quite a bit and this can definitely rival food that I've eaten in Mexico. OMGGGGG-we hiked all day at Mount Rainer and needed some delicious dinner. This place does NOT disappoint!! My husband and I had the Pita burrito (only $6 on weekdays)--absolutely incredible. This place is fantastic and totally worth the drive. The burritos are HUGE and so full of meat. I feel like one could easily feed a family of four. Pita is so nice too! We ate there and it was a beautiful summer day, but oh man would you need a nap after this meal. We will definitely be going back and taking friends and family! Delicious! We wanted some takeout dinner to take to a local brewery. Came here based on the 5 star Yelp reviews across the board. Was not disappointed. My pollo Ranchito burrito was delicious. The grilled vegetables inside were the star in my opinion. Perfectly crunchy and seasoned. Burritos are huge and definitely a two-mealer :) Walk right up to the window and order, or calling ahead for a pick up order is a smart idea as well! They also have a few patio tables outside to "dine in". :) read more

We drove 1.5 hours to try Pitas cause our friends who live in enumclaw said it was a must. Monster, amazing burritos!! Red sauce is a smokey spicey heat and the green sauce is a milder heat both, amazing! Can't wait to go back! Also reheats very well read more

I ordered the Pita burrito with asada, without a doubt the biggest burrito I have ever come across. With that said, I have mixed feelings on the taste. The burrito itself was dry, no sauce, no sour cream, no anything to make it go down easier. I will go back and try again though. read more

Amazing food, cooked to order, nothing sits around getting dry. They make everything from scratch from tortillas to their chorizo, and salsa. This is a family run stand, and the family energy emanates from pulling up to walking up and interacting with the owner and her mom who does most the cooking. Love love love this place!! read more

This is one of those little "hole in the wall" locations. The only thing I don't really like is the fact that it is on the side of a gas station, that aside, very good quality Mexican food. My burrito makes massive look minuscule. Fresh ingredients, and not dripping grease like you get a lot of places. Staff is very diligent and friendly, always greeted with a smile. Highly recommend! Eager to try their tamales. Open up a restaurant already, you deserve it! read more

We never would have found this place as we passed through Enumclaw after a hike.. but those 5 stars are well deserved. The food here is excellent. Service is friendly and quick. This is one of the best Mexican places I've been to in the Northwest. Highly recommended is the Sonora burrito with shredded beef! Eat here or you will feel incomplete. read more

This is my favorite Mexican food in town by far. The food is delicious and as fresh as it gets. I've been eating here for years. I live within walking distance of this place and I'm not afraid to say I eat here on an average of twice a week. It's that good. I recommend this place and rave about it to everyone who doesn't know it or hasn't been. It's in an obscure location, but that's what makes it great. Pita, the owner, is super friendly. One time I didn't have cash on me and Pita let me come back the next day and pay. I was forever grateful. My favorites are the Birria burrito, taco platter (comes with five tacos and drink included), Phoenix burrito with carne asada (if you love meat) and Pita's burrito. I have yet to try the quesadillas, but that will be my next goal. Honestly, do yourself a favor and try the best Mexican food you will ever have in your life. Your stomach will be thanking you every bite. And no, I was not paid or given an incentive to give this very long review. This is sincere. Best food in Enumclaw. I recommend this place to all my friends. The people that work there are amazing, the outdoor seating is nice, and the food is near perfect. Everything is reasonably priced too and the burritos are huge. The taco platters are amazing (I prefer the lengua taco platter). So yeah, I'd really recommend trying this place, you'll love it. read more

SO GOOD! Even something as simple as their rice and beans are Delicious! Our family had: Bean and Cheese Burritos, Birria Burrito, Birria Tacos, Pork Tamales, Quesadilla, and beans and rice. Loved all of it! My wife said the beans reminded her of when she lived in Guadalajara for 3 months. read more

My friend's family heard great things about this place on the Enumclaw fb page and we decided to give it a try. They were extremely sweet and made sure we were taken care of. The Sonora Burrito was HUGE and delicious! I'll be coming back for sure! read more

Fantastic little hidden gem in Enumclaw. Burritos as big as your head and tacos to die for after a long day up on the mountain. My favorite Mexican place in the area. Highly recommended. read more
