I came here 2/3 times a few years ago and they were so good. My friend had a Dr's appointment near by so I suggested it, there was one couple ahead of us so it took a few minutes for them to take our order... nbd or so I thought. We got 2 burritos a quesadilla and a side of guacamole. it took 28 minutes after I paid?! For Mexican food?!? That was precooked in containers? The tortilla weren't even toasted, they completely fell apart a few bites in. The meat was SOO SALTY, the cheese quesadilla wasn't even melted all the way through? It was so bad and so confusing. With tip I think I paid $68?!? Absolutely terrible food, terrible service, 100% slop never again

Ignore all of the haters. This would be considered decent Mexican food anywhere including SoCal. I had the tacos and they were delicious. I would gladly go back next time I'm in Enumclaw.

Something changed with their tacos and this place is no longer 5 stars. $4 per taco is a bit pricey in general but when they just lay out 5 tortillas (single not double like they used to) and put the toppings on top those aren't tacos. Meats (asada and pork) were fine but not the flavor or texture they used to be. Toppings (onions and cabbage) were fine and verde salsa was good. Unless they go back to their old taco style unfortunately we won't be back.

Alright, when y'all (and by y'all I mean, you homogeneous Enumclaw folks) say this is THE NATION's best burrito, the rest of us have to assume we will need a grain of salt. And I was right. As of March 2023, please know their menu is caput and it's CASH ONLY. The nice lady kept talking to us about how she's rebranding and how the menu is down to like literally 4 things (tamales, tacos, burritos and ?? Idk because she said the word rebranding like 89 times). That also means most of their less common meats, such as lengua, are gone. We wasted too much time choosing items that she kept saying were no longer available. At this point, the menu already looks janky, just cover or cross the things you're getting rid of and avoid the waste of time. Sure, the size of the burritos is nice. This isn't new or amazing, there are plenty of other big burrito places in Pierce and King county. The tortilla was nice, the rice and beans were nice, but the meats were burnt/toasty/crispy, and yet their "salteada" veggies were raw. Mm. Do you get a lot? Yes. Is it above par to a lot of other places? No. The green salsa was literally flavorless, and that's weird because it came with red onion, so you'd think. But no. At $34 for 2 burritos, I just have a lot of questions about who named this place the best in the nation. Maybe leave the safety of white town and venture elsewhere and you'll see there is bigger and better out there. Just a suggestion.

Ordered a carne asada plate, I got ground beef with no seasoning and a pound of sour cream. Pitas used to be so good before they changed owners, I used to go a couple times a week. Will never go back now.

I've come here a few ish times in the past 6 months hahaha I just love their tacos. It's quick It's reliable It's yum nom I should branch out from my tacos, but I just love them so much. They come with loads of veggies, which I love. Great balanced meal in my opinion Again, it's just so good! You have to try it!! If not, I suppose my big stomach may keep them in business maybe hahaha

Found via Yelp. Authentic Mexican food with veggie options. Will return, excellent post-hike food 10/10. There are a few outdoor tables, not many chairs. We enjoyed our tacos standing. Got a veggie quesadilla and chicken burrito to go.

Friendly service and giant burritos! Two kinds of salsa, the red was smoky, the green was bright. I'd like one more with a bit more heat. Not a food truck, but similar approach. You order outside and take away your food. They do have a few nice outside tables. I look forward to trying more menu items! Great place for lunch in Enumclaw!

Stopped by here after a roadtrip up to Rainier National Park for lunch. Pita (the owner) was up front to take our order and was so extremely personable and upbeat- she was super patient and gave fantastic recommendations on what burritos my friends and I should get. Each burrito is HUUUUGE, and filled to the max. I ended up getting the ranchito burrito with carne asada. The meat was well seasoned and the fillings were so good. I ended up eating half of the burrito and taking the other half home. This place was such a hidden gem on our roadtrip, only bad thing is that I live 6 states away across the country and am not able to come back for round 2!

Stopped here on the way back for a quick bite. Hole in the wall place right next to a chevron gas station. I had the veggie quesadilla - which was HUGE, my wife had a pork taco and chicken taco which were normal size. Quesadilla had a lot of filling, but that actually was the problem - it overshadowed what I expect from a simple cheese quesadilla. Tacos were good not great. Was super cheap - 15 bucks and we were stuffed. The red and green salsa were killer good, and the lady who owned the place was also very nice.

Food is great but their awareness to cleanliness isn't very high. Been here four times and 2/4 times she handled money then used the same gloves to grab the onions and cilantro and founded the burrito, might as well not even use gloves. read more

After spending all day at Mount Rainier eating only granola bars we needed a real meal. Their tacos were fantastic. Tamales were great. Their homemade tortillas really sealed the deal. The two women running the place were very nice. Never thought I would find such good authentic Mexican food in Washington. read more

Just walk up to the window, say hello to the lovely, friendly staff and then order the carne asada ranchito burrito. I've never had a better burrito. Tortas and tacos are also great if you can't handle the 3 pound food baby that is the ranchito burrito. read more

They loosely wrapped burritos to make them seem bigger than they are. Recently they raised their prices. There's a lot of gristle with their meet. It's really fast never had to wait long. The meat is seasoned really well. read more

The tamales special that they make on the weekends are never ready and no calls to let me know about my order. I've tasted their tamales once a long time ago only because some friends recommended "Pitas" and said that they have the best tamales. This makes the 3rd time that I've placed an order to be ready for pickup on Saturday or Sunday. I call Friday to place the order and they always PROMISED me that they would have the order ready but not till late Saturday or early Sunday and that's how my experience has been with PITA. I'm so disappointed in this place that I'll never go there again. Seriously, I call Friday to place an order for Friday and they always say that they can't do it until Saturday or Sunday, so I wait and no call. I'm not happy with the place and wouldn't recommend it to anyone, friends or family! read more

So good. We got the taco platter with horchata. The horchata was awesome, and the tacos (chorizo, pork, chicken) were delicious. As busy as they were, service was quick, and the price was good. We ate there in the semi-covered outdoor dining area (no indoor dining), but it's the kind of place that you could grab to-go on the way home from work and be very happy. Recommended. read more

After being referred to Pita for possibly catering an event, our group stopped in and she offered us a taste of what she could do. Sold in 2 seconds. I have gone back twice, had the carne asada, followed by a vegetarian burrito. By far the best burrito. The flavor combinations were fantastic. I thought it was impossible to eat the whole giant thing but proved myself wrong. I will head out to Enumclaw more often. PS Pita, her mother and staff are delightful! read more

Hands downs the best Mexican Food in the area. The best customer service... Pita is the nicest Ladie you'll ever meet. Best burritos, Best Tacos, Best Mexican food around. Any review that's not 4-5 stars is delusional. The Carne Asada is cooked perfectly and is full of flavor, the green sauce adds so much flavor to the already flavorful burrito. Anything you order here will be packed full of flavor and a large array of different flavors that leave you wanting more each day read more

Passing through town after a hike up the mountain, we drove through Enumclaw specifically for some fruit wine the in-laws like and thought we should stop for a bite to eat. Yelp search found this little stand, tucked away behind a gas station convince store. Immediately we noticed that this is definitely where the locals eat. Many are recognized by name and the staff inquire about family members not present. Many orders are to go, but we opted to dine in. The menu is simple burritos, tacos, and tostatas. The occasional special served on select days. Meats are beef, pork, chicken, and tongue. All perfectly marinated and cooked. I chose a pork ranchito burrito, and my wife had tacos, beef and tongue, and chicken tomales. Patio seating only. Alcohol may be purchased from the convenience store. The taqueria does offer mexican bottled soft drinks. After a few moments, our order was delivered and immediately we noticed these aren't your usual Mexican taco truck fare. These portions are huge! The burrito would easily serve 2. I took half home for lunch the next day. 4 tacos proved too much for the wife. read more

Ok. So I just had a wedding last month and my wife and I decided to go with food trucks for some fun, we came across Pita's place and after trying her food we were sold, best Mexican in the world! She set up a taco stand at the wedding and our guests were stuffed and couldn't stop eating. We had comments that it was the best wedding ever mainly because of the food. So if you are looking for a wedding vendor, Pita will save you a ton of money over a caterer and give you the best food ever. Thanks Pita! read more

After a long day on a mountain the only thing I can think about is Mexican food. We found Pita's on yelp just as our phones came online from a Rainier trip - we couldn't be more pleased. I ate a quesadilla that was bigger than my face, with handmade tortillas, fresh guoc and fire salsa. Pita even drove up in her black escalade and thanked all of us for being there. 10/10 would engorge myself again. read more

Absolutely the best Mexican food you can buy from a restaurant! I have tried almost everything on their menu and I haven't tasted a single thing I don't love! Besides having great, large portioned (like seriously large, we're talking dinner one night and lunch the next day large!!!) And reasonably priced food the owner, Pita is extremely loyal to her returning customers! Just the other day I showed up to get some food but they were closed :( But Pita was there cleaning up and she gave me a T-shirt on the house! Truly an amazing woman, with an amazing restaurant. No doubt Pita's will flourish in enunclaw for years to come and will hopefully open up more locations at some point. read more

After 10 years of living here in Washington (after moving from San Diego) I have finally found my Mexican restaurant. The food is phenomenal and it was so fresh. The owner Lupita is so friendly and she comes out to make sure that your food is good and to ensure there aren't any problems. I would recommend the Phoenix Burrito and bring a friend to help you eat it because you will need some help to eat the two pound burrito. The tamales are so fresh and they melt in your mouth, however they are only made on the weekends so you have to come on the weekend to take one of those tasty morsels. There is outside seating and it is quite casual but nonetheless it is still a good place to eat. read more

Very impressed! They make the tortillas by hand and were fresh made to order! I had 3 pork tacos: cabbage was fresh and crisp, meat was hot and tender and the cilantro was fresh as well. The service was very friendly as before I ordered he said it would take a few extra minutes because the tortillas were made fresh. It started down pouring so I sat in my car. The next thing I knew the young man was delivering my food straight to my window. They accept debit/credit but did not give me an opportunity to tip. So bring a few bucks for a tip. Only down side was the mild sauce had a bit too much onion for my taste and they were out of tamales. Will definitely be back! read more

I have ordered the Ranchito 4 times and would say that it is the best I have had. Definitely a two meal deal for me. Dinner one night lunch the next day. The young lady taking the money and probably helping the cooking is very nice to work with. I would say for me the best Mexican food in town. read more

Owner was super friendly and patient, while simultaneously cooking and working on orders. Definitely made wait time a priority ALONG with customer service. I ordered a steakflo potato, no onions or sour cream, add bacon. The steak and bacon were so fresh and tender. Literally pulled off the grill and placed on top of a tender, hot potato. The meats were cooked to a perfection. Not too crispy, not under seasoned, not over powering. My partner got an OverFlo Potato. The chicken was absolutely delicious. Juicy, not overpowering in flavor, soft. It definitely made me regret not getting the chicken added. Next time I'm going to order all meats because I trust this man knows what he's doing!

The gouda was lost in the sweetness, a saltier cheese may be a better option. As for the burger patty, it was cooked perfectly and was clearly freshly ground. However, today it was missing salt and it really needed it with all of the onions. I'd definitely go back and try their bacon cheeseburger and the pies/desserts.

This is my favorite Mexican food in town by far. The food is delicious and as fresh as it gets. I've been eating here for years. I live within walking distance of this place and I'm not afraid to say I eat here on an average of twice a week. It's that good. I recommend this place and rave about it to everyone who doesn't know it or hasn't been. It's in an obscure location, but that's what makes it great. Pita, the owner, is super friendly. One time I didn't have cash on me and Pita let me come back the next day and pay. I was forever grateful. My favorites are the Birria burrito, taco platter (comes with five tacos and drink included), Phoenix burrito with carne asada (if you love meat) and Pita's burrito. I have yet to try the quesadillas, but that will be my next goal. Honestly, do yourself a favor and try the best Mexican food you will ever have in your life. Your stomach will be thanking you every bite. And no, I was not paid or given an incentive to give this very long review. This is sincere. Best food in Enumclaw. I recommend this place to all my friends. The people that work there are amazing, the outdoor seating is nice, and the food is near perfect. Everything is reasonably priced too and the burritos are huge. The taco platters are amazing (I prefer the lengua taco platter).
