The stars are for the food. It is very good. The rest is pretty mediocre. As others have mentioned, their ID policies are a little excessive. There's always a big holdup outside to get in because the bouncers are intensely scrutinizing people's IDs. I've always gotten in eventually but it's a little irritating. The bag policy on weeknights also bothers me. I've gone with my book club a few times on weekdays and we have all had to put our bags in the cubes even though we could clearly be monitored by the bouncer/bartenders. Now we can't even go on Wednesday nights because they do trivia and there is no way to avoid it if you don't want to participate. It is very loud and the ALOHO space is not open, nor are the upper floors. As for weekends, the dancefloor is usually packed like a sardine can. If you want to dance, better to go to Kiki but I guess if you just want to jump up and down with your hands in the air while Chappell plays in the background go ahead.

Went here for trivia. Really enjoyed the trivia hosts and the types of questions they ask! Will definitely go back for another trivia night. Trivia 5/5 For food we got a burger and chicken sandwich. Both were ok, rather basic and the fries were meh. Nothing special but I guess ok for bar food. Food 2/5

Visited Pitchers tonight for a trivia night and drinks with some friends! A very laid back atmosphere, and a very friendly bar tender. Something to note is that Pitchers does NOT accept Apple Pay. Really good food for bar food with a nice selection. There are several different bar areas and lots of events going on!

Ambiance - Music video - floor 2 - so much fun!! Loved seeing the music videos on the wall. Got packed fast during middle of night but so fun!! You felt like you were doing karaoke in a way. 3rd + rooftop floor - was fun a bit hot due to the weather this day but would be cute im sure on other days. So spacious and so many areas to be at if you feel uncomfortable Cool decor! Food - sooooo good everything!! Sweet potato fries, fried pickles, philly cheese steak egg rills, mac and cheese bites, alll so damn good! Drinks - good! Fair priced i got a seltzer iced tea peach and it was good my first time. Location - on a busy street easy to find. Service - was great no complaints here

I love that there's a space like this in AdMo! Queer haven with good food, big crowds, and great queer programming. It feels like a place where you can really be yourself!

Pitchers is such an amazing addition to the ADMO area. They have so many rooms and vibes throughout one establishment. You can chill and drink/eat or go hard in a club vibe, or sit and sip and play video games. This is such a perfect spot for LGBTQ+ people where previously there wasn't anything to get! I always have blast at their events whether it's a drag show or a show tunes night! They really cater to their crowd and make it a lively and fun environment for any day/night of the week!

The absolute rudest staff I have ever experienced.

The absolute rudest staff I have ever experienced. My boyfriend was profiled for having a small bag while plenty of patrons walked in with much larger fuller bags, and when we expressed our concerns after already having been there for over 2 hours to the new security guard and the staff member who refused to listen to our concerns, they threatened to kick us out?! Absolutely the most inconsiderate establishment we have ever experienced. As queers in a queer place, we should feel safe, and they made us feel very much the opposite. Do not go to this place. Beware of these people. Watch out for these people.

Bartender who threw out my drink and then lied to her manager about it right in front of my face. Look out for her!!! She is a liar

This location is in the heart of the city so even if you care to walk around the city at the end of beginning of your trip to S&S, you're in a good mobile area! Other eatery and entertaining spots are all within walking disance. Parking to address, was bad. There are SOME parking lots in the surrounding areas but verrrry minimal, so I would advise Uber'ing in or carpooling with friends. My party of 3 were lucky to have gotten a spot right outside of the entrance. Sidebar, because the Super Bowl and other sports are in rotation now, I would 100000% advise parties over 2 to make a reservation, as its the most helpful to guarantee a spot. See Open Table for reservations - that was where our plans were arranged. See attached pictures for the food we ate and enjoyed - the wings (mine were mumbo and buffalo), fries, and crab dip.

My friend hosted a happy hour there, and I love when events like that introduce you to new spots. The drink specials were honestly amazing with $6 drinks, which is hard to beat. The food specials ended at 7 while the drink specials continued until 8, so I was a little bummed to miss out on that. One thing to note if you're ordering food, the four cheese pizza comes with burrata, which I didn't realize ahead of time. I'd definitely come back to try more of the food, especially the flatbreads since they seem to have a lot of good options. That said, I don't think the staff was fully prepared for the size of our group. My friend brought around 60 people on a Friday night, and it was clear the servers were overwhelmed. At times, it took over 10 minutes just to place an order. I don't necessarily think that's the norm, so I'd be open to coming back during a regular happy hour to get a better feel for the service. Great size bar as well.

I stumbled across the Yelp page and wanted to check it out. I was surprised by the food and drink options as they had interesting varieties. Happy hour (3-7) offers beers ranging $1-3, wine $4-6, $7 margs, and I think a few other drink specials, but those options were good enough for me and I went with the wine. Service was a little slow at first, but the one bartender working was friendly and cheerful and doing her best to keep up with everyone until another two eventually showed up or came back from break. Atmosphere was really chill. I liked the dim lighting, everyone was casual and relaxed with a dj setting up in the corner, some hip hop and classic 00s rap bumping, and a steady flow of young-ish friend groups coming in for cheap beer around 5pm. I tried not to evesdrop on the couple next to me at the bar arguing, but their fight sort of added to the entertainment and general vibe. On the other side of me was an adorable couple unsuspectedly ordering fruity drinks and laughing. Totally will be back whenever the end of my work day brings me to this area.

We arrived to a line out the door on a Friday night but we only waited around 25 minutes for a table. The seating inside is plentiful and the atmosphere is loud but cozy and fun - family friendly and enjoyable. We enjoyed the most amazing food - Fontina Vodka Penne (with Shrimp), Kale & Romaine Caesar Salad, Whiskey & Aged White Cheddar Burger, 20oz Bone-in Ribeye. The steak and burger were cooked to perfection, the sauces were outstanding and the Caesar salad was by far the best out of all of this listed. The bar selection and beer selection were amazing - the menu clearly highlights the types of beer into each category which helps make a decision much faster. The Cider on tap was so good. The service was good- they were very busy so refills and checking in on us took a bit longer, but it was understandable and we didn't have any issues at all.
