Love the setting / location. Water front. Plenty of parking. Very clean and spacious bar and dining room. Food is very good but pricey $$$. Service and staff were great.

GREAT Father's Day lunch at the Beach House! Place was packed (lovely day to dine on the patio), but we had reservations and were seated immediately. Good service... fast, knowledgeable about menu, cheerful. My meal was terrific: started with raw oysters (splurged!) and had the Ahi Tuna Noodle Bowl for main.

The view here is absolutely gorgeous and the food & drinks are solid as well. We visited The Beach House yesterday afternoon and it was a beautiful day to sit outside and enjoy the end of the summer. Service was great, and our drinks arrived promptly. We split the Fig & Prosciutto Flatbread, which was perfectly cooked - the crust was crisp but not charred and the toppings were generous and even throughout the pizza. Worth it for the view alone, and the food was really good as well. We'll be back!

We were recommended to go to this restaurant by the Airbnb host. We made a reservation online using Open Table. When we arrived, we walked up to the hostess stand, gave our name, and were immediately seated. While most patrons sat outside, it wasn't an option for us because it was very crowded. We didn't mind sitting inside at all because it was so bright and airy that we still felt like we were visiting a beach house. The waitress was so helpful in recommendations and was very attentive to our needs and wants. Nick said the fries were really good but the burger was just okay. The wings as an appetizer were really tasty. My husband LOVED his Ahi Tuna Noodle bowl and I like the Watermelon & Buratta salad was very good but I asked for blackened chicken and it came plain. There wasn't any taste to the chicken. The drink was AMAZING!!!!

My family and I ate lunch at The Beach House while visiting the area. Overall it was a positive experience with great service and decent food. We went on a Wednesday afternoon and it was pretty quiet (and raining) so the place wasn't busy at all. We were seated immediately at a table with views of the water. I imagine when the weather is nicer the patio is a really nice spot to sit outside. For food we started with their fresh focaccia bread. Two of our group ordered bowls of the Clam Chowder. For mains, the group ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch Flatbread, Braised Short Rib Grilled Cheese, Fish & Chips, Grilled Swordfish, and Campanelle with Shrimp. Most of the group really enjoyed their food. I ordered the Fish & Chips and thought they were fantastic. My partner ordered the Grilled Swordfish but said it was overcooked and just okay. No complaints on the rest of the dishes. Our server was great. Super friendly and attentive. She checked-in frequently and made sure we had everything we needed. I would come back to this place again, but next time I'm waiting until the weather is nicer so I can enjoy that patio!

I have reservation on 7:30, and I came, ordered, waited, Until 8:38, got my pasta. wait time is sosossoso long, one star for the good view.

You go for the view and we were not disappointed. Food was yummy. Drinks were stiff. This is a regular summer stop off. Even better now they have an ice cream shop right in house. Give it a shot get some outside seating for the sunset.

The salmon with street corn and rice for sides

Ah what memories I have as a RWU student 20 years ago when this was Topsides with ten cent then quarter wings! Now I've become an adult and so has this place! We started with cocktails and wine and the calamari which was both different and delicious! Then on to the rest: a bowl of chowder, beet salad, shrimp tacos, ahi and chips, salmon with street corn and rice. The food was mostly really good and represented a menu diverse in flavors while still paying homage to New England favorites and, of course, a local seafood focus. A few small tweaks could boost the rating (more chips with the ahi for example); and the staff were all wonderful though ours was still a wee bit green and learning some minor etiquette up skills. Honestly, you can't beat the setting. It was too chilly for us to eat outside but we would have in a heartbeat due to the gorgeous location and subsequent sunset. The interior is quite lovely and perfectly upscale beachy themed... light years away from the old red (?) carpet, pool table and crusty (though adored) bar of days gone by! That bar has seen some things and, given how busy it was, still does though with a more mature crowd than poor college kids!

Ocean was beautiful and the Filet mignon was incredibly juicy and tender the Mexican street corn was scrumptious and mashed potatoes perfect only thing was that the lobster didn't have much flavor but for what little it had was amazing as well as the plating being pretty atrocious but overall it was very good

First time at this lovely place! Right on the water in Bristol RI. Sat outside and the atmosphere was excellent! Peaceful music playing while we sat outside enjoying the weather and water here ! Food was great and cocktails made were on point !

After lots of people telling me to avoid it, we still went to check it out for ourselves. It was delicious!

Location, location, location, the Beach House definitely has it. Location is not everything in this case. I wanted to give this place a great review. The food is pricey for what you get. The menu is bar food. The vegetarian options limited. The hummus was covered in chili and chili oil . When I asked the server for a description that was not what I was told.. I cannot eat onions, the server put that on the order yet the kitchen added something that had onions in it. Had to be remade. And the service was pleasant but very , very , very slow. Yes they were busy but not organized and not efficient. Our server came to our table three times, never took our dinner order. When the busboy got her she said , "I never took your order." So they have the spot. With a tweak of the menu and more organized work stations, this place could really be something. Hope they get it together.

Halibut special

Both our meals were tasty. The Halibut was a little overdone but still very good. Our server Morgan was great, she was attentive and very nice. It is beautiful on the bayside deck. We have been here several times, it is alway a good meal and the views from the deck are amazing.

Caught the fourth quarter of the game, and the place had a great vibe. Crowd was lively, staff was friendly, and everything was clean and comfortable. The drink menu was not very extensive. Our Asian salad cups appetizer tasted exactly like an Asian salad mix I've bought at the grocery store and looked like it too - I'm convinced that's exactly how they prepared this. My veggie burger had burnt edges and wasn't too enjoyable flavor-wise. It didn't help my overall impression that when I got takeout here another time, they totally butchered my boyfriend's name when we ordered over the phone, and we had a hard time picking up our order because of this (how you get "Stephanie" from "Anthony," I just really don't know). I think this place just gets lucky having a good location across from Independence Park and being close to but just out of the way from downtown. Can't say I was impressed by the food - there are too many other good options in Bristol, I just can't say I'd recommend this to others. Perhaps it's improved since I visited, but it's a pass for me based on experiences I've had.

They had cookies and tarts that looked incredible (definitely going back to try those ), but we went for the classic vegan hot dog and it was so satisfying. At first I really liked this place and probably would've left a five stars-- before I explain more,…read moreI do still think it's worth popping by for a casual bite. The burger I ordered (bacon cheeseburger with no bacon) was delicious. No complaints there and I will probably reorder. The only problem here was that I asked for sweet potato fries instead of regular fries, to which the waiter simply said okay. Turns out it was an undisclosed upcharge. Not only did he not tell me it would be $2.75 (or something like that) more, but the fries are listed as the same price online. When I told him that, he said that their online menu is really old (this is to say, don't look at it! and also, not sure why they wouldn't update it if they know it's incorrect). Sure enough, the printed menu also said nothing about an upcharge for a different fry, so ultimately I was able to remove the charge, but it was a little awkward and frustrating. My only other complaint is not particularly the fault of the restaurant, but I suppose just a side effect of the laidback vibes. A group of 7 or 8 people came in like 20 minutes after us and was so loud that I almost suggested we leave. My guess is they were drunk, but it was a Wednesday night around 6:00, so I wouldn't have expected that. They were so loud that I was yelling to my friend who was within arm's length. Totally changed the vibe and enjoyment for me.

I also ordered the Cacoila sandwich which was also served with on a Portuguese roll and I opted for the seasoned fries which were very tasty. We ordered the mini stuffies, the hummus plate, and the fried pickles. The mini stuffies were a highlight. Loaded with Mello's chouriço and packed with flavor, they're a solid little bite. My grandfather set the bar pretty high for me on stuffies, and these came close. They have a different profile than what I grew up with; a little less bready, more chouriço forward, and the clam flavor takes a back seat. Not necessarily a complaint, they were just different from what I'm used to and were genuinely tasty. The lemon aioli on top was also a nice touch. The fried pickles were exactly what you want them to be. Crispy, well fried, and the breading actually stayed put while you ate them, which is more than I can say for a lot of fried pickles. They came with the same lemon aioli as the stuffies, which worked just as well here. The hummus plate was a bit of a letdown. We've had it many times before and it used to be a standout. This time the hummus itself was thick and pretty flavorless, more like a dense chickpea paste than anything else. The accompaniments were nice though and consisted of heirloom carrots, cucumbers, olives, cherry tomatoes, asparagus, pickled cauliflower, carrot, and a pepperoncini, all served alongside some buttery round crackers that were like a Ritz cracker's more refined cousin. The veggies saved the plate, but the hummus needs to find its way back. I suppose it could have just been an off batch and won't prevent us from trying it again. Cocktails were great, as usual. I had the Anana with scotch. I love pineapple and this has muddled pineapple and basil, pineapple juice, cracked black pepper. It's my go-to here and it delivered again. My partner went adventurous and ordered the Jungle Booby, which is built around tequila blanco and mezcal with campari, pineapple, grapefruit, lime, orgeat, and an absinthe spritz. The flavors were genuinely good, but the smokiness from the mezcal was a bit much for her taste. She followed it up with a glass of rosé and had no complaints after that. The cocktail wasn't the problem, it just wasn't her style. One of our favorite spots in Warren for a quick nibble, for a good reason.
